Errands/Last Minute Preps on the Week / Day Before Wedding

Hi girls!

Just want to ask: what are the errands / last minute activities you have done / plan to do on the week leading up to the wedding? On the day before the wedding?

^hi sis 3 days before the wedding tsaka lang ako nag leave. On the 1st day of my leave nag grocery kami sa s&r ng additional pica pica for the reception and boxes of mineral water for the hotel preps. Dnrop din namin sa church yung misallete. Then the next day mani pedi schedule. After that pickup ng gown. Tapos the day before the wedding nagwidraw kami ng money for the final payment ng suppliers before nag check in. May last minute preps pa like nilagay namin sa envelope yung money pambayad sa suppliers, nagpa haircut si husband ko tapos pagbalik ng hotel inayos pa table arrangement and guests list. The day ng wedding wala na ko ginawa pictorial nalang hehe

I took a leave a week before my wedding:

a day before - final checking of list of items to be turned-over to our OTD coordinator (including bouquets/butonnieres/tips in envelopes/DIY decors etc), wrote my vows (feeling ko di ko sya kayang gawin on the wedding day mismo), prepared my bridal emergency kit, got my mani and pedi with MOH

2 days before - spent time with my family, had dinner and quality time with them; sinuot ko din yung wedding shoes ko to break it.

3 days before -  Called guests who have missed the RSVP deadline for final headcount to be given to caterer; Called and re-confirmed every last detail with suppliers including date, time, and location (although my coord also called them)

4 days before - bought gift to then-H2B

a week before - got hair and facial treatments

2 weeks before - arrival in Manila.

we did the ffg:
-final FT with kbyc
-meetings with coordinator, host, videographer, florist, pastor (we had counselling)
-checked the venue (hotel, church, reception)
-had my hair done
-gown fittings
-i started wearing contacts as well

1 week before
-paid ALL suppliers except the Florist because we had additional items.
-rehearsal with entourage at the church
-dance rehearsals for grand entrance and first dance

1 day before
-i did my laundry haha!
-completed paperworks , table assignments and table names

night before
-had my nails done

And because of these last minute preps, i had my period that night. Haha!

anyone using or been using IV Gluta or Beauty drip before their wedding? yan kasi advice sakin at advice ko sa friends ko bago ikasal para blooming sa pics at video, lahat kami ganyan naging preps Very effective kasi and you will love the results of your pictures , nakakatuwa.

thanks for sharing! ive been so OC in trying to do everything ahead of time. this really helps with planning our timeline.

@twinxz ako sis 2 days before the wedding lang ang pinaalam kong leave because we have another 2-week leave for our honeymoon. sana kayanin

@noveetwenty3 my derma offered me 10 gluta shots for 10,800. is that price okay? we can do this daw weekly until the wedding day

^wow! kayanin ba yan sis? feeling ko kasi kulang ang 2 days eh. Ako naman after ng wedding eh naka 3 weeks leave. So a total of 1 month ang leave ko.

^noveetwenty3 plan ko din mag gluta iv. Kelangan ba to once or twice a week? Grabe lapit na wedding ko 4 months lang.

@twinxz kailangan kayanin sis. under negotiations pa nga yung leaves ko na yan. hopefully ma-approve na. buti ka pa you 1 month leave!

sis feeling ko kaya ng 1 week before the wedding basta plantsaduhin nyo na lahat ni H2B kahit yung mga minor details. sya kasi a week before the wedding nagleave and mukang nakeri naman. pero almost 1 month leave namin hehe

sana sis ma-approve nga yang leave mo & hope pa-bonus na nila na gawing 1 week para di ganon ka-hectic!

Will be on leave na 1.5 weeks before my wedding day, but really just to escape work and make sure no one bothers me na. Meron pa pala talagang naccram during the last week or so! I dont think my coordinator will still meet me at this time, lalo na kasi Christmas holidays. I hope we can finish up everything by mid-December.

I'm planning to go on leave a week before our wedding and a week after (naforesee ko na tamad ako pumasok niyan). I'm scheduling it as my mandatory leave na rin para bawala talaga ako guluhin from work.

Planning to have mani-pedi with my sister (MOH) the day before and dinner with my family plus check in sa hotel.

2 days prior - banking errands for supplier payments and despedida de soltera

Will be taking a leave 4 days before the wedding, then 1 month and 2 weeks after the wedding. November 27 kasi our wedding then 2nd week of January na ko papasok. Sakto sa Christmas holidays. Swerte lang namin kasi yung Nov 18 and 19 are holidays (or is it 19 and 20?) So more time for us to prepare last minute errands.

Create a schedule of to do's and stick with it. Have you got plenty of things to do when you arrive in manila?

^ dont know yet sis belle 1 yr away pa naman.. Kaya im doing as much as I can this year para maiwasan ang stress next yr. Very helpful ang thread na to. Baka kasi may mamissed akong small details for our wedding na maging cause ng last minute stress. Enough na ba yung 2 weeks na paguwi ng pinas to do the final details?

lyr3hs we're on the same boat. We'll have to schedule food tasting, pre-cana, pre-nup (still undecided), salon appointment, and meetings with our suppliers. Is 2 weeks enough to get these done?
