Booked Josiah's Catering kanina sa fair and okay rin nahaggle namin na freebies.

nakipagmeet with kami with Alalay Ko and baka ibook na rin namin siya kasi tamad na ako maghanap ng iba. Haha! Unti unti nang umuusad ang preps!

^good to hear sis chocnats na umuusad na! Nga pala sis, I've read kagabi lang a complain to Josaiah's, last Dec lang ang wedding. Basahin mo rin so if turn over time na hindi rin mangyari sa wedding nyo yung nangyari sa couple na yun. Sobrang sad lang kasi. I am not discouraging you sis ah? But need mo yun mabasa since same kayo ng caterer. =)

Helloooo. 2016 bride here. August sa CTK. Wala parin ako gown. Motifs nga wala pa. Hahaha. Gusto ko sana purple kaso patay na kulay daw. Any suggestion

@sis ANJFinally, oo nga I read that rin sa W@W FB Page. Sad lang may ganung pangyayari and hopefully ma-isettle nila mabuti afterwards. I remember dati, gumawa pa ako ng Powerpoint Presentation noon for my caterer in the first wedding kasi ang dami kong naririnig na bad feedbacks from them. Ang OC lang pero in the end, may mga iba pa ring items doon na di sinunod. I'll probably not be as OC with Josiah's now, pero I'll still make one for their reference na rin.

^according to the bride hindi daw sya isolated case as per what Josaiahs replied to them kasi sa fb page ng Josaiahs, meron sa review section na nag rave din almost the same nung ibang nireklamo nya.

Anyways sis, proper turn over lang and documentation. Depende rin sa AE din siguro no? Maybe by this time na nag trend sila, eh hindi na maulit sa future clients nila.

Pray lang that everything will be alright sis. =)

if kelangan mo talaga maging OC, then be OC talaga. And always have your emails acknowledged.

Basta on the day, live and let go. Kasi kahit ano mang glitches mangyari sa wedding mo, ang importante eh kinasal ka sa pinakamamahal mo. I honestly could not remember anymore yung glitches dun sa wedding ko before. Ang naalala ko lang, masaya ako nun! Haha! Kaya ngayon, di na ako nagpapakastress sa mga bagay-bagay coz I know, magiging happy pa rin ako no matter what. Actually, plano ko si h2b ang mag-aasikaso ng detailing para maranasan naman niya ang hirap mg wedding planning! Magrerelax lang ako! Haha

Ouch! Purple din ako sis pero different hues. Depende sa inyo pano niyo ipapasok..

sis you may use light purple. it really depends on the hue or shade of the purple

Wow there are a lot of brides using violet/purple/lilac this year!! Hehe I am one of them =) =)

I agree it will all depend on the actual shade that will be used. I let the designer come up with the color swatches, since she knows better than me. Im using more of a dusty lilac though and paired with a mauve/old rose color.

Ito yung unang theme na gusto ko, old rose, gray and plum. Kaso ayaw ni hubby madaming color. Baka daw yung mga guest kung ano ano suotin tapos labo labo na. Magiging colorful na ewan na daw yung kasal Hehe.

^^Love the color combination sis!! I wanted to do purple/lilac motif for our wedding last year, but elders kept saying that it's such a sad color etc. Since two of my cousins who got married before me used the purple color palette as well, I decided to let it go and went for coral pink & gold instead.

Sis akerue827, agree with what the others said. You can use a combination of colors from the purple family or choose a lighter shade. Otherwise, just be prepared to defend and stand your ground, especially when you hear the remarks of the elders. Hehe.

Sissies, me too! Old rose or blush pink and lilac basta neutral colors lang. Yan daw kasi ang color of the year sa wedding ang pink and coral blue din.

Coral, Plum, Lilac, Old Rose. Sabi ni h2b ano daw pinagsasasabi ko. Hindi daw yan alam ng mga guest.
Nag iimbento daw ako. Hahahaha. Nakkaatawa lang na sobrang totoo nito sakanya.

Pero saken its Coral, Peach and Powder Blue/Slate Gray/Blue Gray, Gray. hehe.
I want kasi touch of blue, pero yung blue na halos gray na.
Di ko mahanap exact name, basta ang kulay nya Blue Gray. Maypagka powder blue and Slate Gray sya. Ewan. hehe.

^ those are quite lovely colours sis. Ganyan talaga mga boys. Sa kanila eh primary colours lang. hehe. Eh nung sinabi ko nga na sa amin eh shades of green amd gold. hehe. Sa kanya talagang green and gold lang. Sa akian eh sage, mint, emerald, rose gold and champagne gold. hehe.

Hahah sis hermione28 minsan nakakastress kausap si h2b pagdating sa mga motif colors. Pano kasi basic colors lang alam nila tapos syempre tayong girls masyado tayong keen sa details diba. Like yung suot ng ninang dapat ba daw sumunod pa sa motiff? Ayoko kasi masyado nang magiging makulay blush pink kasi motif ko ayoko naman pati ninang naka blush pink din. Ang gusto ko champaigne colors lang sila. And yung mga mother eh naka powder blue or coral blue ganon.

Missus O - haha, true sis. as in primary colors lang. yung peach nga ang sama ng loob nya, bakit daw peach, orange din naman daw yun. Pero buti nalang may fruits na Peach saka napaglaban ko yung Peach. hahaha.

Lemoncee - haha. pink pa naman sis, may binabagayan. OK ka na kamo sa bridesmaids na naka blush pink. maging formal nalang mga ninang. hehe.

Gusto ko yang motif mo tsaka yung sa mga ninang dapat ganyan lang neutral beige, champagne basta something neutral. Oo nga may binabagayan ang pink. Kaya ang gusto ko neutral color ng pink basta neutral yun na yun hahaha. Hindi naman kasi ako maputi well 4 out of 5 ng bridesmaids ko maputi kaya keri na nila yun haha idaan na lang sa ganda ng face at sa pagdadala.

nakakaputi ang plum and deep maroon:) so stylish too expecially the deep maroon:)

i want dark color naman so my colors are dark navy blue(not too dark na black na) for the adult entourage and dark navy blue/champagne/nude for flowergirls. moms will wear deep maroon naman.
