Who went to the GM bridal fair this weekend? were you able to get the rates of Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan?

We were there kanina para lang maghanap ng gifts para sa sponsors. 30 mins lang yata kami sa loob. Late na rin kasi kami nakapunta. Sa 30 minutes na yun nabunot pako sa raffle. Haha!

Si Nicole AE ko sis, pero baka magpalipat kami kay Faye since siya yungn naunang kausap namin last year. May kakilala rin kasi si h2b sa Josiah's so nagrequest kami sa kanya na yung pinakamagaling na AE bigay sa amin hehe.

We had meeting with our coord yesterday, it turned out well naman. With re sa Carterer, Queensland or Quidos na lang yung pinagpipilian namin pero Queensland yung recommend ni Coordinator.

Attend muna kami ng FT. Atleast we are down to two choices.

Hi mga sis with regards sa caterers in my opinion nobody is perfect naman as you can see may ibang reviews na wow na wow sila sa josiah's but may ilan na hindi rin so i think ang scary part lang is hindi sila consistent. But a friend of mine suggested na joasiahs ang kunin namin kasi sobrang sarap daw Anyway like sa case na i experienced with hizons, by the way sila nag kinuha namin caterer ni fiance, sa lahat ng events/ weddings na napuntahan ko almost excellent sila but sa grand food tasting wow sobrang palpak sila kasi ang lamig ng food na sinerve, matigas ang pork and beef at ang gravy walang lasa but i told the ae about it and asked for an explanation, naging pranka kasi ako sabi ko talaga hindi ko gusto ang ilang pagkain na natikaman ko sa grand food tasting nag biro pa nga ako sabi ko nag doubt tuloy ako kung sila ang ibobook ko kasi ibang iba talaga pero sa actual event like weddings na un din ang dishes masarap naman.. So nahiya naman ang ae sa akin at dinagdagan na lang nya freebies ko hehe at take note na lang daw nya mabuti kasi siguro napansin nya reklamador kami ni fiance, for me naman kasi very important ang food dahil un ang pinaka gift mo sa mga guest na nagabala pumunta sa wedding mo. Anyway end up booking them and will be very particular with what we want na lang lalo na si fiance na sobrang arte pagdating sa pagkain hehe 😂😂😂

That is true. Kelangan talaga i-address ang consistency, lalo na siguro sa taste ng food. Pwede ko maipalampas ang sablay sa styling, but major no-no talaga sa akin if iba ang lasa ng food. Or worse, kung panis ang iseserve na food! Jusko.

we got Josiah's as our caterer, our AE is same dun sa bride na nagcomplain. i raised this concern with my AE agad then she explained what happened and i should just trust her. honestly, im not even that worried anymore because:
1) most of the popular caterers naman have received complaints like this, even the more expensive ones, may food poisoning pa nga. so there's really no guarantee that something like this won't happen kahit sino pa ang caterer
2) its too late to switch caterers now and i dont want to worry about things i cannot control

preparation is key. make sure lahat ng details is well communicated and written down. especially, if you're very specific to details, hindi pwede yung isang text or tawag lang. kahit ulit ulit, dapat kulitin si caterer para sure na its noted. i even created a document complete with details and pictures to collate everything we've discussed. this is different pa from the contract.

our wedding is in two weeks pa, so as of now hindi ko rin sure kung enough na ba yung preparations na ginawa namin ng AE ko. but im hoping it is. at this point, dasal and tiwala na lang talaga

^congrats in advance and best wishes sis. Yes you did your best and let your suppliers do their job na lang on the day of your wedding. Prayer is the best virtue pa din. Just relax, enjoy and have fun.

I also read the feedback sa Josiah's, it was posted in one of the Party Complaints group in FB (basically all the suppliers who gets bad feedback gets posted there). It was just a sad experience as the time, money and effort spent to pay for the suppliers is no joke. Medyo insulting lang sa akin the way Josiah's apologized through 2000 cash, 3000 Josiah's kitchen gift certificate and 10% off on the next event.

But I agree that if you've already booked them, the best you can do is talk to your AE to minimize the mistakes and make sure everything that is agreed upon is put in writing.

I love this. totoo naman, my mga bagay talaga na hindi naten control. Alangan naman ako mag ayos ng setup ng venue or magluto para masarap yung pagkain. haha. Why worry to much on things we cannot control diba. Its how you handle imperfections.

I remember nung wedding ng sis ko, patapos na yung makeup nya, wala pa din yung photographer. I was young then, I didn't know you shouldn't put too much stress on the bride. sabi ko pa
"bakit wala pa yung photographer, wala ka man lang kuha na inaayusan ka"
and she was like "ok lang yan, edi mamaya mag panggap nalang na inaayusan ako"

diba, she was so relaxed tapos lahat ng flaws wala lang sakanya. nakakatuwa. sana ganun din ako. hehe.

hi girls, i finally have the rates of blue leaf cosmopolitan. they have 3 halls that can fit 300 pax each and priced at 160k each. i have to clarify if its free to transfer from one branch to another as i talked to 2 AEs and they said conflicting statements. better ask them na lang if you really want to transfer to cosmopolitan. lastly, cosmopolitan is located at the corner of ortigas extension and libis. its inside robinson's bridgetowne compound. construction is on going and they are working on the second floor na.

Guys... i want to ask all of you sino po dito ang kinasal na sa immaculate conception cathedral po sa qc? Magaask lang ako paano sana ang pagreserve? Talaga bang nanghihingi na agad sila ng documents kahit sa reservations palang?

Hi sis. Thank you for your response. Actually sa june 2017 pa naman kami. kaso kasi sobrang nahihirapan kami kay coordinator nagtataka kami.. december pa namin binigay ang reservation and until now hindi padin kami booked sa church. hawak naman na niya ang money pangreserved sana ang palagi niyang dinadahilan na need daw magpasa ng documents bago magreserve. And as far as I know kasi ang documents to be follow pa naman yun. Kasi importante makapagdownpayment for reservation to reserve the date right? Haaaai
