hi sissies! survey lang, when is the target delivery date of your bridal and ento gowns?

im not so much worried with my bridal gown. yung ento gowns lang im a little worried because this supplier can only commit to deliver the gowns 2 weeks before the wedding and they will only have one fitting. i've had gowns as a bridesmaid before na never kaming nag fitting and last minute din yung bigayan ng gowns, but now that its my wedding mas praning talaga ko.

Im a late Dec bride, my ento gowns will be delivered in end-Nov. Yes, hindi na sila pwedeng tumaba, hehe, pero mas stressful ata ang last-minute adjustments na iccram, ayoko na ilang days before the wedding yan pa iniintindi ko na di pa nakukuha yung gowns.

My bridal gown baka early Dec ang target date kasi Sept pa kami mag first fitting.

Nakabili na ako ng mga cloth for my bridesmaids, pero yung chiffon sa ibabaw, parang gisto ko baguhin yung kulay. Huhu sayang pera. Siguro mga 2000 din masasayang ko pero parang gusto ko talaga palitan. What to do now

^Aww why sis anong meron dun sa nabili mo na? Hindi ba match sa color ng motif mo?

I also bought cloth in Divi for all our ninangs. Silk chiffon and lining. Yung lining, i just followed what i've been reading na geena daw yung panglining and i also asked dun sa Divi yan din sabi nila. Then yesterday i accompanied one of my ninangs to her gown designer and the designer returned the geena to me and said panget daw sobra yun gamitin kasi iba bagsak nya sa silk chiffon (na maganda bagsak). She will just use her own daw, sayang tuloy yung geena we bought for all the ninangs, i guess the other designers of my other ninangs won't use it rin. Oh well!

I went to Rosa Clará today to check on their Sample Sale and found 2 beautiful dresses but amounting to 83k with alteration fee. I liked one fully beaded gown but it was the size of Bea Alonzo already (which is so so small) and having another made would cost me whopping 165k! 

too much too much!

has anyone tried reselling their gowns? I have a reservation with Edward Teng and I'm pretty sure I will get a beaded gown for less with him considering his expertise on it.

I keep reminding myself that Rosa Clará is just a name! 

Then we went to Ivory and Lace in Landmark almost everything is on 25k-40k lace with beads already but ofcourse you'll see and feel the difference in the fabrics used.

Next stop is the Bridal Room on the 6th and Ivory and White on the 15th.

^^ oh no sis sparklingjewel! i also bought geena for my PS though we haven't distributed them yet. sayang naman yung tela. would they at least use the silk chiffon you bought for them?

sis kisses1417 if you're not satisfied talaga with the color siguro palitan mo na lang. maybe you can find other use for them, like sa gown ng PS or mothers or other family or friends na gusto din magpatahi ng gown? we're in the process of selecting the color and fabric of our ento gowns din and sobrang nagtatagal kami for the bridesmaids. sila kasi yung magdadala ng motif kaya important samin that we get the right color and shade for them. d ko rin narealize na ill be this specific pala. arte ko lang hehe

I agree. Initially i wanted mint or tiffany blue kasi talaga pero what i bought is light aqua stretch satin for the lining. Yun kasi ang advise ng mananahi kasi maganda daw yun gamitin, wrong side ang gagamitin namin para hindi makintab then chiffon sa ibabaw. Kaso what i bought is  na chiffon is kind of blue grey which i really like pero seeing some weddings again and remembering how i get kilig over tiffany, parang i wanna change the chiffon na. Pinag iisipan ko pa. Waahhhh ang arte arte ko kasi naiinis ako sa sarili ko. Tsk tsk. Sana pwede ibalik sa cloth store then kahit mas mahal ang bilhin ko or mas madami para lang di masayang.

^oh wow sis yannuh, thanks for answering kahit hindi ako nagtanung hehe. I am helping out my friend look for a gown. And her budget is only 20-30k.  She is also based overseas. But she's going home next month. And karamihan ng mga nasabi dito na RTW gowns nasabi ko na din sa kanya. May additional info na ako na pweding ibigay

@sparklingjewel and bzbee: geena is ok naman diba, dapat kasi yan din bibilin ko for the lining, and almost all of my gowns geene then chiffon ok naman. Kaso baka yung mga PS mga sosi kasi kaya very particular sila sa fabric?

Is it ok to use silk cloth for PS? Or will it look cheap? Color that I want for them kasi is Champagne Gold e.. And kapag ba nagbigay kami ng cloth for them, are we still required to give them special gifts/favors?

Hi sisses! Pwede ba na ipatanggal yung mga pillows, pouch, garter etc. dun sa package ng wedding gown? Magaling kasi mag-crafts yung parents ni h2b and nag volunteer sila na gagawa nung accessories hehe.
