My fiance went dress shopping with me and helped me make my final decision. But we're a pretty modern couple, and we didn't really care about the surprise factor -- we're also taking pictures together before the ceremony.

Hi sis, when I inquired with her early this year,  she quoted me 75K i think, but if  sis dcpdane is referring to her, then that's a more recent fee. Just to let you know, that is just her starting price. If you want an elaborate gown, then the price also shoots up.

Yeah, her rates went up after she dressed Kim Chiu, I don't know what awards show that was.  When I inquired, it was way before that pa.

Patricia Santos quoted me 100k mid 2014 for an almost fully beaded fit and flare gown with swarovski crystals. I dunno na how much she costs now.

I had to go and check my FB messages to check what Patricia told me, it was July 2014 pala when I inquired first, she quoted me 25-40k for a simple beach wedding gown.. then when I asked again regarding a certain design, she said 75k and up na. Grabe how  the rates have increased.   Her starting rate has more than doubled in a span of a year.

i love checking out designers' works but sometimes im intimidated in asking them since november 2016 pa naman ako. ive inquired though sa ilan naman na though wala lang. nahihiya lang ako mag-pm ng pegs tapos magbabago na naman isip ko lol. baka makulitan haha!

Hi sis, well where do you stay in Manila ba? The question is do you have the luxury of time to go there and spend money on fares for gas and toll fees just for inquiries and for fittings? Especially during the last few weeks of your wedding preps.  Is he willing to travel and meet you halfway and or bring your gown to your home for fittings. Most of the brides here weigh the pros and cons first before deciding on who is going to be their gown couturier.  And one factor is the distance.  If that won't be a problem for you, then go for him. Especially if you feel as if he is "the one" who will make your gown.  Happy preps.

Actually sis dcpdane starting price niya is 80k Nag inquire na ako agad, kasi ang ganda ng gowns na gawa niya.
meron pal adito sa Bf homes, The Bridal Room shop RTW gowns ang gaganda din, and budget friendly gulat ako may 30k eh

Wag ka mahiya sis! Just keep inquiring and the earlier you book the better bago tumaas a prices ng designers. Booking a designer 1.5 years before the wedding date is not unusual sis.

If I have a budget around 60k and up, I'll go get Mak Tumang. Ang ganda kasi Kinabog ang dibdib ko while checking his designs.

Ang bilis din mag increase ng rate ni mak tumang, last year yung friend ko kinasal, fully beaded gown, 45k daw from him, nung nag inquire ako last month, 80k na starting.

Yes i agree. Super top designer na talaga si mak tumang sa pampanga ngayon. Lagi sya nanalo sa mga gown contest etc sa pampanga at madami na din mga artista gumagamit ng gowns nya. Yung marian rivera gown nya nasa 300k yata yun. May kakilala ako nagpagawa sa kanya for dec this year, 160k yung gown. Pero i must agree, parang very much worth it naman pag nakita mo mga gawa nya and he's young ha. Nag punta ako bridal fair, grabe yung marin rivera peg na gown na ginawa nya as in jaw dropping and yun lang ang nasa booth nya. Tapos yung mga naka display sa ibang area ng fair, nagsstand out mga gowns nya. Sya sana gusto ko talaga kaso i cant afford him. Yung gusto ko na rtw nya dati, di kasya sakin. Tsk tsk
