NarsJJ AY madaya! Tell your AE na they should disclose all hidden charges prior. Corkage fees and all. Some venues are very "tuso" when it comes to money making.  What you can do is prolly get a copy of their event order stating that no electricity was charged to your friend and asked why are they applying it to you. Back it up with a file. You can always send a complain letter after for all the shortcomings. Hahaha! Then they will do a service recovery thus discounting the total fee. Thats what hotels do

Natawa ako sa wala nbang ikakapal ang mukha ng mga Pinoy?Hahaha Be firm or tell them that they will be placed on the waiting list, if someone cancels then you will fill them in pero chos lang yun lalo na for the boyfriends.

Chili1113 Thank you for the info regarding the 3 yr rule.  I'm glad that your old menu price will be considered pero to avoid all the hassle anymore, have it in writing when you choose the menu including all VAT, service charge and local tax. Or di ba pwedeng customized yung menu mo as long as you meet the consumable amount? Thats what we did with my venue, we locked in their menu regardless of the inflation rate next year kahit magtaas pa ang manok at baka!

Ladies wala pako sa part ng mga guest invites na yan pero jusko ngayon palang Im getting sasama ko mga future boyfriend ko sa kasal niyo ah. Wala pang boyfriend, nauna na. Sorry for ranting pero sana they would know how we feel.

Sis Narsjj,  Usually venues have certain amount of amperes they can accommodate for your event. Usually this xovers basic lights and sounds.   Pero kung may additional lighting or if you're using a led screen,  they'll charge additional fees.

Just had my 3rd meeting with Kutchie. Thankfully after getting worried about how she's handling my wedding bumawi naman. She is prepared and super oc with every detail. Dami ko napickup na di ko na naisip. I feel more comfy now that her team will deliver. Plus she will be at my wedding the whole time kasi im her last bride for 2015 daw btw she has 18 brides for Dec. Last meeting namin is before Xmas, full turnover na. I like the fact that I get 4 meetings over 2 months.

Share ko lang, sa amin kasi may engagement ceremony pang kelangan iplan. Oct next year yung target date ng engagement ceremony and as early as now nagtry na ako magpareserve ng place then I gave the menu and reservation documents kina h2b. Problem is sinabihan siya na bakit ang aga aga daw namin inaayos yun, next year na daw nila aasikasuhin yun. so ngayon parang wala kami magawa kasi they are paying for that. Kaso kaba ko lang baka naman sa sunod e wala na yung slot na tinatarget namin.. Ayaw ko maulit yung feeling nung nagrereserve kami ng place for wedding na lahat ng places na gusto namin e booked na, to the point na napilitan nang iusog to 2017 yung wedding date... hayy

almost 1 month before the wedding, here's
our problems so far:

* caterer doesn't reply at all! text, calls, emails, waley! still got tons of details to finalize, bale wala tuloy that we started planning early. sobrang important pa naman dahil syempre sa kanila nakasalalay ang reception.

* ento gown supplier - ang nasa contract namin end of november ready na ang gowns for first fitting - i emphasized this before booking them. i wanted this done early because i know everyone is busy by december. pero waley! until now hindi pa rin kami makapag set ng schedule kasi hindi pa daw tapos. eh ang hirap din ayusin ng sched ng ento namin because, of course, its xmas.

* crew meals - the supplier we were supposed to book for this just told me they dont deliver na daw sa hotel preps namin because naghigpit na sila! ngayon wala na kaming mahanap na alternative. we can give meal allowances to our suppliers - as it turns out, halos same price lang din pala. BUT since morning wedding kami, most of the establishments nearby are still closed ng ganun kaaga.

* budget - habang papalapit, nadadagdagan din yung expenses that i wasn't able to consider before.

* guest list and rsvp - i guess this is gonna be our problem until the day of the wedding na

minor problems:
* missalette - church only gave us a hard copy, kailangan pa itype, eh ang hirap pala

* ribbon wands - wala talaga kaming mahanap na dowels!!

honeymoon problems:
* in progress pa rin ang visa applications -  until we get approved, we cant finalize our hotel bookings, tours and itinerary.

Would you consider paying a visit to your designer's atelier? A week before her wedding, a friend of mine could not secure a final fitting sched so her fiancé just told her to go to the atelier and that's what she did. She got fitted. Hehe. I think I'd do the same. My husband also went straight up to the desk of the lady who had to prepare our marriage contract because she wasn't replying.

As for supplier meals, maybe assign a groomsman or bridesmaid to buy sandwiches the day before the wedding which will serve as breakfast. Where is your hotel? My OTD said what she would do before is sneak in food using her stroller, hehe.

So happy finally resolved this week ang caterer namin for the wedding. 2 weeks to go and ngayon lang na-finalize.

First booked K by Cunanan, food was good but their response time is horrendous. Plus they intended to charge us an additional 500Php/head since na-late kami ng ISANG ARAW before we signed the contract with them. When they were the ones who urged us to book them during the bridal fair na lang! No thanks, I'd gladly let go of the booking fee.

Second desperate attempt, we booked Josiah's. I thought they were okay, at the beginning. They catered one of my secondary sponsor's wedding (she married a local celebrity and highly recommended Josiah's). Amazing, they screwed up the Caesar Salad, who screws up a Caesar Salad??? I hated the styling. Sobrang walang option either you pick this one or hindi na pala siya available. Pati linens hindi available! I was left with black napkins. Come on Josiah's. I said okay I'm willing to spend more to get the styling I want, ang response lang sa kin, "Ay upgraded yan Ma'am, di po kasama sa package niyo." No response kung how much it would cost for the upgrades I wanted. A month to go before the wedding and wala pa din silang response, I paid the cancellation fee na lang, tapos sila yung naghahabol ngayon.

Last, buti accredited na si Passion Cooks with our venue I've nothing but praises for Maja and her team I contacted them Dec of 2014 pa and they've pencil-booked our date kahit sobrang walang response sa kin for 8 months! Di pa nagtipid nung final detailing, she only glimpsed my preferred flowers once and nagulat ako na ganung ganun yung sa mock-set up Hay, can finally breathe na finally okay na sa wakas ang caterer namin

can you explain the late charge by k by cunanan further? did you mean that you had an agreed upon date on when youll meet with them to sign the contract and when you failed to show up, they want to penalize you? ang mahal ng P500/head for a late fee shucks! sorry i booked with kbyc too so i want to know.

Hi Sis Rowan, I think I posted about this in detail months ago pa. I can't remember the exact date e, but I think around late March or early April we had our Food Tasting with them, our AE was Rumi noon. We enjoyed the food a lot (kahit ang tagal i-serve haha) and she showed us some options for the styling that we can choose from. We were all set to book them on the day para di na kami pabalik-balik, but she told us na i-book na lang sila on their upcoming bridal fair, I think a day or two after our FT. Payment all done, I've sent the copies to my venue's AE, sabay, "Are you aware of K by C's price increase?" She explained na they had the increase on the day of the bridal fair so since dun pa lang daw kami nag-sign, di daw kami applicable sa old rate. T.T

Sent them multiple e-mails. Called up their office once a week to get an update and they couldn't give me any feedback. So we decided to let them go na lang. You know what's funny sis? Last month I received multiple text messages from them about the Final FT, Detailing, even received 3 emails from them last November addressing my concern. Emails I sent last April pa ha!

Sorry nag-rant na ko ng todo hehe. But am so happy with Passion Cooks now, ang bilis pa ng reply and laging ina-accomodate yung requests ko.

^philpotts So sad to hear what you went through with KbyC sis! Hay, i am a KbyC bride also and i do agree their servicing is really horrendous. There is so much room for improvement! My AE and stylist are recently very apologetic for it but for me, if you're doing your job (which is all we are asking for, anyway), there is really no need for apologies, diba?

Side story, they yielded to using my layout because they couldnt figure out why theirs was so different from mine in terms of capacity... well that took a while for them to check and figure out tapos in the end wala rin palang correction made, they said theyll use mine nalang. LOL!

I cannot trust that Josiah's too, profiling mga yan eh! as I've observed. Kapag celebrity, ma profile or bigtime talagang sineseryoso nila, ginagandahan at abala sila. Pero if they see na you are in budget or someone na tama lang or not so rich hindi ka nila seseryosohin worst case gagawin nilang disaster yang reception mo. Nagreklamo na rin Tita ko regarding that dahil it turned to the point na ulam canteen at wala sa ayos yung wedding na inateran nila, bale wedding ng pamangkin nung asawa ng Tita ko.

Our two prenup video suppliers both wala pa output and its just two days to go! Kakastress sila! Treehouse committed to send only the day before for our review, which is virtually no time to edit anyway if I wanted to (which is supposed to be my right). 90% of the video was shot 8 months ago and they made previous commitments to deliver it in Nov but waley! I was hoping they understood the stress that comes with the wedding kaya ayaw namin magcram, pero sila naman hindi handa. My other one naman I dont know how to follow up sobra kasi for review pa daw ni Jason M. hay, I will let go soon. Fiance and I agreed on a policy not to show anything that comes in too late for us to preview anymore.
