Hi sis may stylist ka na ba? You can sk your stylist about it.  You can focus on one aspect like if you want disney fairytales, or disney princesses, or focus on one fairytale and expound on it. I had a classmate in highschool whose wedding theme is alice in wonderland. Tapos lahat ng guests they were wearing some sort of hat. And each table ay may character sa alice in wonderland. They had their wedding in Antonio's in tagaytAY.  If you describe your theme sa stylist mo,i'm sure makakaya naman nila yun

Hi sis bonzaigirl yun nga eh.. wala ako stylist. nagdidepend lang ako sa caterer ko. do you think kailangan ko pa ng stylist? iniisip ko kasi baka gastos pa? super stress ako kasi 5 months to go na lang at ang dami ko pa kulang. parang yung coord ko naman petiks mode lang... siguro nga kailangan ko mag stick sa isang theme like disney princesses......

hi berryprincessy, to add to bonzaigirl and chili1113's ideas, i saw one wedding where they made book cutouts of their favorite scenes from fairy tales like this:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/58811417@N03/5393324573

they put the cutouts on their tables as part of the table setting :)

Sis I saw Teddy Manuel do a Disney Princess/Fairytale theme.
https://instagram.com/p/00MJG9LArq/?taken-by=teddymanuel

The designs are Beauty and The Beast (the a rose in a glass dome), Snow White (the one with hanging apple), Sleeping Beauty (with the tiara), Cinderalla (with the glass slipper)

It's nice because it the theme is evident but still elegant and formal. This was used for a debut but I can imagine it can be adapted for a wedding.

If your h2b's family is not happy, then your MIL might understand when you and your h2b sit down and discuss your worries with her. Maybe you can still get a new caterer, or if you cannot change your suppliers anymore, then maybe you can choose the dishes that have good reviews and remove from your menu the ones that don't sit well for both of you.

who is your caterer sis berryprincessy? cheer up! try to communicate all the feedbacks you've gotten from your family to the AE, i am sure magagawan naman ng solusyon yan sis:) Saka if ever kasama na yung styling sa package na kinuha mo sa kanila, i don't think you need to hire another supplier for styling. sayang kasi yung pera na you can use to other things. basta make sure lang na clear lahat ng ideas mo and be very specific during your meeting with them :)

Berryprincessy, did you get Manila Catering na ba? I specifically remember liking their pesto pasta. I also liked their smores bar. They have good styling too.. i went to their grand FT and that was my impression ☺

Manila Catering sis.. siguro nga yun dapat gawin ko. makipagcommunicate ako. salamat sa advice sis. sana nga magawan ng solusyon. yun nga din sis naisip ko baka masayang yung pera if kuha pa ko ng stylist.. sana lang the day ng wedding ko maging maayos at wala naman ako madinig na bad feedback. salamat sis.

Yun nga sis, I think I cannot change the caterer anymore since 5 months left na lang natitira sa amin. And also we already paid the reservation fee. medyo nakakapanghinayang. Yes, tama ka.. maybe me and h2b will go for another food taste and choose the dishes with good reviews.. Thanks for the tip.

I think you can get away without a stylist sis. I believe mayroon GT bride before na ang theme nila is music. Her caterer also styled their event. Pero nagdagdag sya ng mga accents like records and musical notes per table. Kaya masaya naman sya. As to having a disney theme. Start small. Write your ideas and then just roll with it :) . If you need to buy some extra bits bili ka na lang.or sabihin mo sa stylist ng caterer mo kung sinoman ang AE mo kung meron silang ganung mga designs na hindi naman magmumukhang children's party yung event nyo. Regarding sa caterer, well ... basa ka  ng mga past reviews and ask for another food tasting if possible. If you think na mas mababawasan ang stress mo if you will drop them, and di ka naman malulugi, then let it go. Pero if you think they can redeem themselves and deliver on your big day. Then keep them sis. :) Hope this helps :)

hi bpstar, have fun on your honeymoon! :)

hi berryprincessy, are you planning to diy your styling? here are some additional things that came to my mind about your fairy tale theme:
1) use silver/gold items in your decors. you can use gilded gold mirrors on the tables and put your vases with flowers on top of them. it evokes sleeping beauty.
2) you can design a fairy tale book guestbook where guests can write their messages to you on colorful pieces of paper and then paste/glue them on the pages. or even just get a hard cover copy of your favorite fairy tale and ask guests to write their messages to you on the margins of the pages of the book.
3) you can have a selfie corner/photobooth backdrop designed with glittery gold and silver circles in various sizes. it's a modern aesthetic but it's whimsical enough to fit the fairy tale theme.
4) drape your stage with gauzy cloth and then behind the cloth, hang string lights or fairy lights. drape some vines to go on top and the sides
5) use pretty cursive writing on all your stationery like the menu cards, thank you cards, place cards, etc.
6) you can put gold candelabras, gold cages, and crystals as part of your tablescape
7) you can make a "happily ever after" sign for your bridal car
8) for the floral arrangements, go for overflowing vines and big flowers in white porcelain vases

Helllo my fellow soon to be brides! Newbie here.
Here are my booked suppliers:
Church: Santuario Del Sto Cristo
Reception: Light of Love
Catering: Josiah's
Bridal Gown: Ivory & White
Event Coordinator: Kredin The Event Engineer
Unofficial suppliers:
P/V: Jay Mayuga and Jake Olaso

Any suggestion for the invitation supplier? We already made a reservation kay Kenneth Uy kaso we realized that they are a bit expensive.
Any Josiah's bride here also? Would like to hear feedback from you.
