being chismosa
+1, parang they have nothing better to do. Speculating on other people's lives and making assumptions di naman alam ang truth. On bobotante naman -- that is a new term i've only learned about here! haha! it's a very complex problem. The poor are often times so poor they are also UNINFORMED and UNEDUCATED and they are uneducated because they are too poor to avail education -- parang catch 22. Damn that they are, still damned that they are. They don't know any better (and it's not their fault), so they vote for someone they think can help them or can better them. In a developing country it's ultimately the middle class that can drive change -- they are, as a group, empowered enough to change the status quo for the upper class, and close enough to the poor, to understand their sentiments.
