Question lang,  for those na tapos na ikasal, may nakikita kasi akong mga shots na pinapakita, or parang mga boudoir shots like bago magbihis yung bride, are those requested by the bride, or mga photographers din ang nagsasabi nun?  Pasensha na, na curious lang ako tuloy kung pano ako magbibihis.  Hindi ko pa kasi nameemeet mga photographers and videographers ko pero from what I've heard, they are male, kaya curious ako.. and at the same time anxious hehe

I think some are requested by the bride; whereas the others the photographers ask the bride. I was asked by our photographer and I told him I don't think kaya ko. He tried to shoot a "modest" boudoir like kita lang the shoulder, but I think he saw in my face that I was uneasy so hindi na. hehe. So my shoot during preps was really modest and conservative :)

^it's up to you sis if you want a boudoir shot. ask your photog if nagshoshoot sila non while on preps. my photog wants sana when I told her sa mismong wedding day na ayaw ng husband ko parang nanghinayang sya. hehe ayaw kasi ng husband ko gusto nya kasi sya kukuha and sya lang may copy. yung mga friends ko nagtanong sila aa photog nila if ok mag boudoir shot while prepping pumayag naman.

Thanks mga sis. hehe.. I am not the most conservative when it comes to dressing up, or wearing bits and pieces, but its kind of different when I know that I've got old relatives around who may see those pics hehe..  Kasi my friend who got married last December, during sa SDE nya meron syang ganung kuha.  So, when we were talking about nipple covers, it reminded me about it.  And I'm a bit anxious hehe. Kahit medyo malayo pa yung wedding ko hehe.

It was hard to shoot in front of your parents! Imagine my photographer asked me to pull down the sleeves of my robe (just so kita ang shoulder ko) and pose while my father was seating in front of us!!! Sabi ko sa kanya, my dad is looking hahahaha. So we stopped hahaha.

Great tips sis belle! I have a tendency to panic or be super OC when I can't find my stuff. Hehe. I have to start practicing being cool and relaxed whatever happens on the big day! :)

-sleep early the night before, and this will sound like a cliché but yes, let go and trust your coordinators.
-don't panic, keep smiling and be friendly and nice to everyone. being stressed is not an excuse to become rude with suppliers. these people, even if we paid them for good services are not working for the couple, they are working "with" the couple.
-keep a clear mind and thinking. I thought I lost my enveloped personal money. I had to excuse myself during my make up sesh and look for the envelope myself. good thing I found it quickly.
-learn to savour each moment. you'll keep on coming back to the day these things happened.
-it's important that you are comfortable with with your suppliers especially with the PV team. we have a total of 12 blokes from our PV team. 7 of them are inside my room directing me to pose in front of them. imagine how awkward that moment is. I'm happy to know that these men are respectable and real gentlemen..
-consider buying nipple covers if the gown doesn't require you to wear bra. at least you're not uncomfortable when you dress up in front of your couturier, or maid of honor.
-it's important to be hydrated but be sure to go to the toilet before you hop on the bridal car.

..more tips next time. :)

I asked about the boudoir shots from my photographer. He said it's usually requested by the bride. He said for him they have a process when this is done, something like, he will go out of the room muna then while he's not there you will pose na the boudoir with the help of your HMUA or assistant or whoever. Then someone will call him to return to the room and isshoot na nya yung bride with that pose, then different angles daw. Dapat daw steady lang si bride when doing those poses hehe

I also thought of budoir shoots but I'm not sure my photographer does that. Lol. (Or maybe he doesn't post them. He's actually a bit conservative with his posts on social media.) also, I fail at serious poses. :( Pat Dy does them really well, though. So tasteful!

Are there any brides here who've has a long (and heavy) train and full petticoat? Had my first fitting na and mabigat pala yung skirt! I was imagining a tulle skirt but my designer and Mom both said without a train, my gown will look like a debutante's dress because of the cut/style. Any tips on walking with a train and petticoat? (Also, mainit pala. Small things I didn't consider before!)

Super overdue tips for our dear sisses:

- SMILE all the way! Practice in front of the mirror yung angle na maganda ka. This will save time for you and your pv.
- Let go. Seriously. Wala ka ng magagawa sa mga pwedeng pumalpak on the day. Kaya enjoy lang.
- Few days before the wedding make sure na you have relayed everything na gusto mo sana for your wedding sa lahat ng suppliers involved. Wag mahiya. Remember you paid a sum to these people to HELP you make your dream wedding come true. Not direct you sa gusto nilang mangyari. Exercise control.
- Walk slowly. Don't rush the walk. Steady lang. Smile and smile.
- Small things will not matter. Focus on your guests and make sure you wave at them and acknowledge them in any way you can.
- Be happy! And relax! A happy and relaxed couple sets the mood for the entire wedding.

More tips next post. ü

I don't know if this will help, pero yung sa akin eh strapless silicone bra.  I bought it in amazon para makita ko muna yung reviews.   Okay naman sya. Pinagpawisan na ko lahat andun pa din sya. Although beware pag tinaggal. Kala ko sasama balat ko hehe.

Hello sisses!!! ;D It's been a busy, wonderful and milestone-filled week and I'm so excited to share our wedding kwento with you all. :)

As a couple of you know, I got married last July 4 and here's the best advice I can give so far:
PRAY.
I mean seriously pray. Not just on the day, or a week or a month before but start praying for your wedding as early as you can. Marriage is a celebration of love and commitment before God so it is just fitting that our preparations include regular prayers of guidance and sustenance from Him. :)
Pray for all the things involved in your wedding like the weather (this was one of the most wondrous blessings we had), your suppliers (they were all a joy to work with!), your guests (all of my husband's tito's and tita's from abroad were able to attend), the flow of the whole day (minor speed bumps but God made a way for all) and of course pray for your relationship even after the wedding. :)

It was definitely one of the best days of my life and I pray that all our sisses here have a blessed and joyful one too! :D

Ganda ng tip mo sis f878! :)

Just got married last May. Madami akong tips na I decided to turn them into blog posts. Lol. One is to have your reception in a restaurant para wala nang extra expenses sa stylist at sa caterer. My wedding was at Sonya's. The place was already wedding-ready. No need for extra styling. We made a little backdrop lang.
