^Hi reese17! I am planning to have a set of heels for picture taking, but plan on wearing flats, or 1.5 inch heels max the rest on the day! =) hehe If I wear tall heels ill also be taller than my fiance.

I wore stilettos the entire time because I got lazy to plan for a second pair. I'm not used to them but the wedding high made me forget the pain haha!

There are bridal wedges naman and if you can't find one, you can have one made 😊

- Take lots of rest before the wedding day (and this advise is for the groom as well). I crammed and stressed myself out, then got sick before the wedding.
- If you can plan early, don't cram the measurement taking and fitting of the entourage a month before the wedding. This was also stressful since our mananahi was not reliable.
- Stick to the timeline during your wedding preps, it's crucial to have the hmua early in the preps venue and that everyone's done with their hair and makeup. This affects your time for photos.
- Have a light lunch so you'd have the energy for the day.
- My friend told me that she should have peed before the ceremony (during her wedding). She felt the urge mid-ceremony and during the picture taking nakasimangot na sya and kitang kita sa photos. haha
- Smile a lot and mean it, kahit minsan nakakangalay na. You never know when your photographer or videographer is taking candid shots of you.
- Make a list of photos you want your photographer to take and send it to them before the wedding day
- If you are getting married on a Friday or Saturday in Manila, take note of the traffic. Remind your immediate family members and entourage to leave home earlier, due to expected heavy traffic. I don't know why, pero laging traffic sa Edsa and major roads pag Saturday especially from mid-morning to late afternoon.
- Have a pre-reception program or activities to keep your guests entertained especially if you expect to take a long time for your post-nup photos and prepare for your 2nd look sa reception. Never make your guests hungry while waiting for you.
- During the wedding day, let go of the small stuff. Just enjoy everything and keep in mind that you are marrying the love of your life. :)

reese, maybe I'm crazy, but I'm wearing four-inch stilettos even though my entire wedding is on grass haha. I honestly dislike wearing heels, but I need the extra height!

I chose the most comfortable style I could find (it's a cage sandal with a comfortable pitch, not too steep) and I'm planning to add foot petals and practice standing in them for 2 hours at a time. And I might get some of those heel stopper things just in case, though I've tested the shoes out on grass and they seem fine. Maybe sinking into the grass a bit will keep me from tripping? lol.

i wore a 1 and a half heels; no complaints. my feet felt happy and comfy, another less worries for me since the gown itself was another thing to mind for carrying it and maneuvering takes effort but with comfortable feet helps a lot.

Thanks girls! I've been "window shopping" for shoes even if the wedding is 5 months away pa. Might settle for 1.5-2 inch heels nalang. I'm planning to ask Waltz Manila how much their custom-made shoes will cost. :) Tempted to spend a lot on the shoes but must.watch.budget!!! Hahaha.

sevenstars, what brand of shoes did you get or eyeing (if you haven't purchased them yet)?

I went to anna nucci the other day and i cannot resist the charm of one of the heels there OMG. Its 3". Nung sinukat ko siya ang naglakad lakad comfy siya at hindi nakakangalay. But i experienced wearing 3 inches  one whole day during the wedding of my friend, and literally i am the maid of honor, ako lang ang abay take note. Kaya errands talaga! Nung sa event hindi ko nararamdaman yung ngalay. But pag nakaupo na ako, narerealize ko na masakit pala sa legs. Hahaha! Flat shoes kasi hilig ko eh. And naisip ko sa pictures and videos, parang hindi formal tignan kung naka flat shoes sa wedding gown? Nakakakita ako toms na wedge, converse suot ng couple, ska skechers na parang mataas din, some wear pumps, or rubber shoes pero nasa beach wedding naman.. Kaya i opted to get this heels nga kasi church.. hehe.

What would you suggest mga previous brides? Hehe sorry matanong. TIA!! 😊

^pili ka talaga sis ng shoes na kaya mo gamitin for whole day na most of the time nakatayo ka.

Planning to buy 2 sana,1 pair of heels for pictorial tapos flats sa reception pero 2k max na for both sana. Wala kaming nabili huhu. Sana within the week makahanap na ko:) San pala nakakabili ng "I Do" and "Me too" stickers sa shoes? Hihi

I super love Badgely Mishkas's bridal shoes! The one i am eyeing is around 10k pero ang ganda nya kasi talaga tapos maisusuot ko pa after. Then my friend insisted to buy me my bridals hoes in dubai. Unfortunately she cant find badgely doon :( id ont know y. So ayun, she ended up buying Kate Spade pumps. Super nice and glittery! Hihi i feel like a princess. Almost 4 inches sya. 3.9 inches kasi 10cm daw. Im used to wearing heels naman kaso parang naging impulsive din ako kasi super nice nung shoes.

reese, I got my shoes at Jimmy Choo. I also have a backup pair of LK Bennetts with about a 2.5 inch heel, hehe. The LKs are my standard "wedding guest" shoe but I wanted something higher and prettier for my own wedding :)

There's this one shoe shop in Laguna i always go to whenever i go to the province. Surprisingly after 3 months of shoe searching in numerous malls, i found the perfect shoe there. It's sturdy and not too high for someone like me who doesn't wear heels at all, even at work. :) My sister asked me"are you serious?!" I said yes, its not about the brand but the "fit".

Sis blackgreen correct ka dun! Hehe. Yaiks! Hehe.
Thanks for the tips!!  ;)

Just an additional tip. It is nice to have Suppliers/Vendors who has already worked with each other and much preferably knows each other, for they no longer need to adjust in each others work style. For mine it went well for my coordinator already knows my photographers preferences, they position things that works well with the photographer and the videographer already knows how to maneuver around the photographers style. they were in sync.  they even collaborate what works more, since my photographer knows that videographer is more knowledgeable to drama posses and the photographer vice versa maneuver around the videographer. My hotel room was doesn't have the awkward vibe since they are already at ease with each other.
