1. just friends, hanging out
2. one still wants something out of it
3. good break up so ended up friends

a lot more. but really depends on the person and situation. i know someone, her bf is still a friend with the ex. and that bf still hangs out with the ex. :-)

- Same mate-value which means, I should feel that I'm on the same level with the girl.
- Good chemistry and compatibility.
- Can be my long time companion in life.
- If she can love me more than I love her.
- Sticks with me through the good times and especially the bad.

Not sure if this is for me. No, it was just a follow-up question dun sa sagot nya na meron syang kilala that still hangs out with ex. I am not sure if he still has contact with his ex pero he is friends with his ex-wife who now has moved on and seeing a new guy. I am still in contact with my ex as well pero every couple of months just to say hi.
