Mga sis, may I ask if the rate 17K for OTD Wedding Coordination is just average or it's too pricey? I inquired kasi for SMA kasi nagustuhan ko yun pag asikaso nila sa friend ko when I attended a Tagaytay wedding. :) May mga maganda din akong nababasa re: Imbitado events. Please help! Thanks!
Hi sis! IMO, I think average naman yung rate na yan for OTD. Minsan kasi it depends narin kung gaano na kakilala yung Events Management sa industry yung iha-hire mo. And san sila base? San ang wedding mo? OOT Fee could affect din the total contract price eh.

Some OTD's ranges from 10-25K and higher pa if you'll get otd na well-known. =)
Try to set a meeting din sis dun sa mga na shortlist mong coord. Yung iba kasi nating sissies here, nakapag decide sila after nila makipag-meet since na feel nila kung magja-jive ba sila ng personalities, and impressions as well. =)

Mine is Absolutely Knot Events. I got 12K lang for max of 100 guests in Tagaytay. With host and oot fee narin yan sis plus a lot of freebies. Hehe! Medyo low rates sya since Ms. Kim just started to venture a company of her own last year, but she's 5 years in the business na from other event's company din. =)

Try to scout lang sis, at the end of the day, you'll book a supplier na meron kang "this is it pansit" feeling. =)

Hope this helps! Happy preps sis! ♥

sis I think 17k is average for mid-range suppliers like Events and Elements, Kiss the Girl and now SMA.

Personally, I would be wary of any coordinator lower than 15k. Especially those newbie coordinators that charge only 10-12k for 200 and up guests. Imagine naman they are a team of 5-6 people. How are they to give you good service if they are only getting paid that much? Sometimes only the head coordinator is good then super walang silbi the rest of the team. Someone told me that some coordinators bring yayas from their homes to make them part of the team on the wedding day. Of course, you cannot expect good service pag ganyan. Make sure nalang to check reviews before booking!

High-end coordinators are 30k up without RSVP pa yan. But you will be paying for years and years of experience and them having a good reputation!! But take note, not all high-end veterans are good also. Ive heard horror stories  even from some very expensive coordinators!

Hi! Imbitado Bride here. I got them for 16k (OTD + Host + OOT Fee). Super ok sila sa wedding namin. Akala nga ng iba mahal bayad namin sa kanila. Super organized kasi ng wedding namin at super alaga kami ng husband ko

Sissies help naman (again) :)

Sino sino ba high end or mid-range coordinators? We're looking for OTD only since we're both hands on (I'm picking, his paying)
We got a quotation from Rita Neri for OTD 85k, while full is 105k. Weird nh?
Considering Kutchie Zaldriagga as strongly recommended by sparklingjewel. For ilang pax the 47k? We'll have 400 guests kasi
Any feedbacks on JP Montilla? My sister got him for her wedding years ago. She said ok naman daw & nakita pa niya with events of other friends. As from what I observed.. Medyo lutang ako nun so wasn't really paying attention haha but parang ok lang din but more on the underwhelmed side.

If the beginners are around 12k, then high end ones 40k++. How much for mid range ones?

Thanks in advance!

Joed See of Joed See Events quoted me 27k plus OOT charges not included, for my wedding next year.  I saw her work during my friend's wedding, and they are good.  I was part of the entourage and we just followed them. There were no glitches during my friend's wedding.  Wedding was delayed, but it was not because of he coordinator's team but of the venue's at that time.

And she has worked with other good suppliers as well.

I didn't get her team because we are working with a budget. But as you're looking for a mid range one.  Thought this may be a good suggestion.  Hope this helps

^ Thanks, bonzaigirl! Will look her up. Is she used with Chinese weddings as well? Forgot to include that part. Very crucial kasi yung sanay with Chinese weddings coz bulgaran ang eat & run and polo shirts. Yes, polo shirts. Madalas sports shirt pa nga haha

corpse_bride:
sis I got Jp Montilla for 1st wedding for partial planning. Now I have Ruby Ines of Celebrations Event Specialists.

Jp is good! But even when I got partial planning before, he didn't come with me to meet any supplier. Jp is also more firm  in advising his brides. Whereas Ruby will advise you but in the end it is your choice what you want to do. Whereas Ruby Ines delegates 1 meeting with caterer, stylist, and L&S.

Jp's rate when I inquired this time around is 90k-full, 60k partial,  35k 1 month planning, 20k 1 day planning, with turnover 2weeks before.

Nenita Zagala (Ruby Ines' partner) quoted me 45k for OTD. But I got them at 35k under Ruby Ines. Nenita her partner is going to live abroad for 1 year and so all events are being handled by Ruby. Perhaps thats why the price is different?

I also inquired with Queen David- 35k OTD but does not include meeting with any supplier.

Jody Liwanag - 35k -- but took 1 month to reply to my messgae so super turned off!

Christine Ong Te - 65k

La Belle Fete -- 42k

Canaan Celebrations by - Jets and Rhona -30k

Oops for a chinese wedding?? That I am not so sure. Might be better to ask them.  Hahahaha... natawa naman ako sa bulgaran na eat and run and polo shirts.. Just because I remember the chinese weddings we have attended when we were younger. And ganun nga.  Although now,pag kinakasal yung mga  cousins ko.. not so much na. hehe.

^ Thanks, Chili1113! Saw JP's "categories" but no rates. Medyo na weirdohan nga ako dun sa 10days turn over as compared to others na 1 to 1 & a half month. I'd want someone who'll go with us to meetings sana coz we might miss some details. & if he's firm with what he advises, parang kakatakot to make him kulit with things that we can't decide on or understand haha

Will look up Ruby Ines.

Mahal pala si Christine Ong - Te. Hmm..

Haha well friends & close family usually wear formal attire na. Akala ko konti nalang yung nag ppolo shirt from weddings I've attended in the past years. But I recently attended one and nasa polo shirt world ata ako. & grabe talaga yung eat & run. As soon as desserts are served aalis na talaga sila.

corpse_bride: Don't worry if you get Jp he wont mind if you make kulit hehe I just remembered in my 1st wedding medyo useless the coordinator assigned to me haha but no complaints bec Jp himself did an amazing job.

Jp has a very strong presence. So if you prefer a quiet, fade into the background coordinator then you might prefer someone else. Jp though will advise you on what he finds tacky vs elegant.  Jp strength is the timing and pacing of the wedding. Everything happens on the dot. He has a way of keeping to the sched even with emergency adjustments, and also without hurrying the bride. LOL lastly, He dazzled my guests when he dressed for my wedding in his barong and all his bling jewelry!

I love Jp!! But I decided to get someone else this time around since I think my fiance prefers us to get different suppliers as much as possible from my 1st wedding.

Funny! I was once a bridesmaid for a Chinese wedding where JP is the coordinator. Diva nga super! He's mataray ha. Even reprimanded a well known HMUA artist kasi walang time na sa reception while he's doing the bride's 2nd look.

Although it was a 2500 guests wedding. We'll taken care naman i think as a guest.

My fiance is chinoy but we'll entrust the wedding with Kutchie Z instead. My guests is 500 i think there's a little add up lang pag 300 and up.

^msdiane LOL yes Jp is a diva! But that is why my sister said when she gets married she only wants Jp!! She loves his diva-ness heheh And despite his diva-ness it was Jp himself who really would fix my veil before I entered the church, and once I got to the altar he fixed my long train. My only complaint was super useless the coordinator assigned to me. Ang gwapo ng assistant coordinator ha, but ang useless. Or in fairness to them, maybe because I brought my own maid from the house to follow me around and carry my bag hahaha so maybe nawalan ng role yung assistant coordinator.

LOL awwww I got senti just now and sorta miss having a diva coordinator like Jp. Heheh Ruby is very very efficient and organized but very businesslike.

Bahahaha! Na upstage si assistant.

That's a brilliant idea ha to bring your own "angel" to be with you to entrust your valuable and just be there with you.

^Sis bad idea! Im not bringing an "angel" this time around hehe. Better to rely on the assistant provided by the coordinator. My "angel" or trusted helper kept getting in the way of photographers. Di niya alam kung saan siya tatayo.

I actually didn't find JP flashy during my sister's wedding. Parang he faded & blended with the crowd nga. But then again that was a Filipino crowd wedding. In a way, you get your tisoys & tisays. We'll be having a very traditional Chinese wedding so diff story with the crowd haha

Question lang: with JP being firm with advising (di pa ko naka move on) does that included picking of suppliers & cohesion of theme?

General question: Do/Can coordinators help you with the motif/theme?

^Corpse_bride: Jp was firm when it came to making etiquette decisions. He really strongly felt that we should make the table rounds to great our guests. I wanted to skip this since I was always feeling faint and dizzy around that time.

The theme, motif, and suppliers are really going to be of your own choosing. Coordinators can help you develop your theme and motif but usually this is only done when you get a full coordination package.

If you are interested in that kind of thing you can check La Belle Fete. I think they really develop a theme for each bride who gets the whole package. Plus you'll save money on the stylist because the closely work with Amante Fleurs who has VERY competitive rates and is talented. But I would only dare get Amante Fleurs if La Belle Fete was my coordinator to keep an eye on him, since he is known to be quite unreliable and inconsistent.

hi sis, i beg to differ but 7ten5 events, Imbitado Events and Alalay ko are some coords that charge 15k less and i think they perform well naman during the wedding day, based on clients' feedbacks na din:) I think this does not have to do with the rates, we just have to be very careful and good in doing research for coordinators that are affordable and at the same time, can perform well during the event:)

Let's just say taste is subjective, different choices for different needs. Personally if there are means to get high end supplier why not. There's nothing wrong also in getting other ones lesser it all depends if effective and on the couple's budget. After all, what really matters is the marriage after the wedding :)

I think the coordinators you mentioned are the exception. They aren't newbies especially Ayie of Imbitado. If you read my post again I said I would be wary of NEWBIE coordinators who charge around 10-12k. I also mentioned that not all high-end coordinators have good reviews too. Therefore, in the end it is best to research to know if youre getting a newbie or a true pro.
