same question ako, ano ba pwedeng ibigay na gift sa parents? saka kelan yun ibinibigay? pano kapag wala ng parents (like si fiance), si kuya at ate niya ang bibigyan namen ng gifts?

if we end up with a lot of budget to spare, we'll give them a trip for two to boracay. if not, some place near na lang like tagaytay, baguio or batangas. or pag wala na talaga, overnight na lang sa luxury hotel in the city.

to be honest, i didn't know about this and i don't really have any idea what to give my parents and my husband's mom. i think we should give our parents letters to thank them. the material gifts i'll reserve for the usual occasions - mother's day, father's day, birthdays, their wedding anniversary, and christmas

We'll be giving our parents albums and framed pictures after the wedding; not planning on anything for the day of, though. (We're having a destination wedding and we're paying for all meals and accommodation.)

Well, shopping narin haha! Pero yeah, mahilig syang mag grocery eh haha! Pero staycation would be something new to them if ever. Di ko pa to naiisip or nabibigyan ng time. Saka na siguro after the wedding.

Hi kateguerzon, I'm not ordering albums from our photographer, so I'll be designing + printing the photobooks myself. That way I can also customise for each family (for example, my mom's album will include the family photos of her extended family).

hmm i havent thought of giving gifts sa parents haha... pero i plan to give them wedding albums c/o photobook..
pero my kuyas lol plural didnt give a gift din naman which is fine but they gave a wedding album.. to think c/o parents ang kasal nila hehe..

siguro kase lalake kaya hindi na naiisip ang mga ganyan thanks sa nag raise ng thread.. something to think about

We plan to have an AVP for our parents during our wedding, with our thank you messages, parang ganon.   It's one way of showing na araw din nila yung wedding namin, not just ours. Because if wala sila, wala din kami ni fiance .

For Christian Wedding, this is actually part of the ceremony. To give something as a thank you and farewell na din to both parents.

We wanted something personal and something that will last. I have a friend who gave an album collage and it's really personal and worth remembering. Still thinking pa what we will give

Ours naman dahil we wanted something simple & personal, we opted to give a framed enlarged photo of their wedding pictures.
To symbolize na din na they are our inspiration. 😊
