Ayaw ako bigyan ng discount ng AE sa KbyC. talaga stick sya sa P1,195+10% SC and 12% VAT. that's almost P1,500 per head. Its too much. 

Tapos wala naman freebie or something. I don't want to spend that much lalo na hindi ko man lang natikman diba. Risk na nga ito. Ok pa sana kung majujustify ko man lang, yung tipong sobrang sarap at hindi ko kayang i let go.


Should I go with M Catering? or MaDels nalang talaga to save money?

^sis, paano ba magandang diskarte dyan? Sabi ng coordinator at ae ng hizons, yung iaassign namin na authorized person ang pwede magclaim ng left over. So example dad ko yun. Pero what if may pinsan ako na iassign mag look out lang sa packing? Ito kasi ang isang negative review kay hizons na di ko pa rin mafigure out kung paano maiiwasan. Yung nag uuwi "daw" ng ulam yung waiters kaya konti na lang nauuwi ng couple kahit marami pa talaga natira.

^sis relative din inassign ko na magasikaso ng left over food. kaso sa case namin di na masyadong naasikaso iyong sa cake and wine kaya natangay pati naiwang wine

nag inquire ako sa Tantoco. ang bilis ng reply. their rates are ok too. medyo naguguluhan lang ako don sa sinend nya. may Appetizer tapos may special appetizer pa.

Ask ko lang sana di ba may VIP tables ang caterer para sa mga guests. Sino Sino ba ilalagay dun? the whole entourage and parents lang ba mga sis? or pwedeng isama dun ang mga spouses ng principal sponsors? May PS kasi ako na isasama nya spouse nya at dalawa [textspeak!] silang aattend. Kung paghihiwalayin ko silang mag-asawa eh baka hindi naman maging comfortable sa PS ko.

Parents and PS lang don sis. Entourage sa guest lang. Usually its max of 20pax. Kung kasya pa its up to you na paupuin yung spouse ng PS mo kasi awkward naman talaga pag wala sya kausap. But during my sisters wesding puno na kasi. So no choice.  Yung husband nung PS nya sa guest nakaupo.

@ayouweinlove -  my AE Rann of KbyC talked about this when we were doing our initial meeting with them.  Dapat daw  sa VIP table din nakaupo yung spouse ng PS. Not just the PS themselves. Kasi ang PS kung hindi mag asawa ang kinukuha, lagi naman may kasama din ang asawa nya.  So shempre uncomfortable  nga naman yun for them na paghihiwalayin mo sila. Awkward nga, especially if they don't know your other guests as well.  Lalo pa kung buffet for the guests. So meaning mag-isang tatayo yung asawa to get his or her food while the other one already has food kasi sitdown naman ang VIP.  Kaya since they are our special guests, we also have to include their spouse, kaya most of the time mas convenient mag-asawa ang kukunin na ninong and ninang.

For us, we are going to have 8 pairs of PS. Some of them are mag asawa, others are not. Kaya we will have about 2 sections for our VIP table. 
Yung friend ko she had 15 pairs of PS, their VIP section was siguro 2 sections na mahaba. hehe. Oh and sa VIP section you seat the parents of the couple,  the PS and their better half, and officiating priest or pastor.  Some couples also prefer to sit and eat with the rest in the VIP table instead of the sa provided area with the backdrop and everything. kami naman sis ideally dapat talagang paupuin ang spouses ng PS beside them. kaya lang ang allotted lang sa amin ay 20 pax sa VIP tables, may additional charge if mag add pa daw ng seats. what we did is yung ibang wala talagang kakilalang guest yung spouse e tinabi namin sa VIP table pero if relatives naman ang kasama sa guest table then hiniwalay namin ang couple. maiintindihan naman nila siguro yun.

4 pairs lang ang ninong ninang namin. So kasama nila asawa nila sa vip table

sa VIP tables namin parents and PS with their partners andon. yung mga abays di ko na pinagsama sama sa isang table. mas gusto ko ma enjoy nila wedding namin na katable yung mga gusto nila kasama.

^ Thank you sa mga inputs nyo mga sis, naisip ko din kasi na hindi magiging comfortable sa spouse ng PS ko, lalo nat hindi rin naman niya kilala ang ibang guests ko. Gusto ko lahat ng guests ko ay masaya/naka-smile sa wedding.

20pax lang din ang sa VIP table namin. and may 2 remaining seats pa. I was thinking to add na lang ng another pair of PS na mag-asawa. buti nalang nalaman ko na ito agad before ko ibigay ang entou list ko sa gagawa ng Invitation namin.
