Thanks sis. Check ko yung iba. Pero yung queensland and verleo starts nga at P550 pero konti pa yung food na kasama. As much as possible I want 4 main dish, madalas kasi 3 main dish lang. beef or pork then chicken and fish.

Osio still on my list. Ganda ng styling nila! Kasama na ba talaga lahat yon? As in wala yuj dagdag?

Hi girls! I just got home from my cousin's wedding that was catered by M catering. The food was masarap naman. Sorry but I didnt find any dish that is rave worthy. Pero its tasty in the sense that no one will complain about your food. Naubos ko yung food ko:) The ones that I found good are crispy pork wanton, roasted pumpkin soup, grilled chicken bbq, mango tapioca, and what i liked the most, the chicken and mushroom penne in tomato basil. The roast beef belly was bland tasting. This is a let down coz it looked yummy pa naman. Walang lasa rin yung parmesan crusted fish. Good thing the salsa that came with it was yummy. The sauteed herbed vegetables was a bit cold and the potatoes were a bit hard.

If not for the roast beef belly, I dont have any complaints with the food. Hope this helps girls:)

Hello everyone, happy new year!

Got back just now after last year wedding haha.

Just a reminder and suggestion, based from my experience, do not only get a caterer who has a good food on the food taste, a good AE / stylist during the wedding preps, BUT on good food on the wedding day, an AE and stylists on the day itself, who does what's on the agreed CONTRACT especially on the menu to serve, the agreed freebies (which i think kasama sa binayaran? ), details like flower types, kid's menu, be watchful on all of this and most important, the SERVICE! Look for a caterer who can provide the service of what you have paid for!

Get also pala a good coordinator who can just managed the caterer, from the set up time para di ma late and of course food serving. Good thing, di naman to nangyari samin kasi nagawan ng paraan ni coord kundi, another horrible story nnaman!

We're so tempted to book M catering sa Expo on 23 & 24 kasi ok ang reviews tapos may free LED Wall pa. Ang dami ding inclusions ng 1,095++ package nila. Though exceeded na yung budget namen for this.

Mga sis who got a contact  of an AE sa M Catering, can you refer an AE to me please? Thank you!

sis you can try to request Becca Apolonio. she was our AE and a couple of our sisses here had pleasant transactions with her in the past too.

kahit na overseas couple kayo, baka naman you can ask someone to still do an FT with M Catering or your other prospective caterers para at least may malapit sa inyo who can give feedback na pwede nyo pagbasehan.
taste is subjective din kase and to be honest, di naman patok lahat ng dishes ng M for us. meron din na di namin feel or ok lang kaya we made sure na we picked a menu na babagay sa panlasa namin and of course ng guests. yung sigurado kame na walang masasayang at walang magiging negative feedback.
ang food kase otd is something that your guests will remember and sometimes it's not about kung sinong mas mura or mahal ang packages, it's more of really analyzing if the quality of their food/service is worth the price they're asking for. kase meron dyan ang blah ng food pero todo makasingil or cheap ang package pero masarap naman at pwede ring the other way around.
ask and research talaga as much as you can.

Way back 2012 pa to, lahat ng food nila sa food tasting masarap! as in. pati bread masarap!
Kaso I can't risk it for my wedding on July kasi baka nagbago na yung taste, tapos hindi na din sila updated pati sa facebook eh.

hi mga sis. done with our food tasting with Hizon's. and we booked them na now, it's time para icancel naman yung previously booked caterer namin.

good choice sis! we also had Hizon's as our caterer way back 2011. Make sure lang na may magaasikaso ng left over food kasi ang naexperience ko sa kanila kinuha nila iyong wine na ginamit namin

^sis, paano ba magandang diskarte dyan? Sabi ng coordinator at ae ng hizons, yung iaassign namin na authorized person ang pwede magclaim ng left over. So example dad ko yun. Pero what if may pinsan ako na iassign mag look out lang sa packing? Ito kasi ang isang negative review kay hizons na di ko pa rin mafigure out kung paano maiiwasan. Yung nag uuwi "daw" ng ulam yung waiters kaya konti na lang nauuwi ng couple kahit marami pa talaga natira.

Hi sis hermione28, I attended a food tasting by NARCISSUS CATERING (yes, sila din ang KAKI Bites). I think Kaki bites is their "affordable brand".

Mostly ang advertised nila is their catering to the celebrities.

When I attended their Food tasting here's what I noted:

Food - maganda ang plating. But the taste was so-so.

AEs - maasikaso sila and assertive pero TO sa akin ang pagpush para kunin ang Narcissus catering with styling (venue not included) na hindi din naman affordable

Styling - If you look at the celebrities' events maganda styling nila but when I asked for ACTUAL weddings they have styled, puro mood board ang ipinakita sa akin. I think there are only a few who really gets Narcissus catering with the styling kasi nga pricey din.

H2b and I attended M catering's FT this afternoon. Masarap yung pumpkin soup tsaka yung baked fish with spinach but the rest nung food na sinerve di ko masyadong gusto. Di naman panget yung lasa pero nothing special. Tapos mejo malamig pa nung sinerve, siguro dahil din malakas yung ac dun sa venue, mabilis lumamig yung food.   

Yung desserts nagustuhan namin parehas ni h2b lahat.

hi sis Cookiemonster11, sad naman to read about the cold food. siguro di rin nila na-expect na ganun kalamig sa venue.
basta ft ka lang din with other caterers so that you can compare and find what suits your taste best.
kame kase we picked M kase sila na yung consistent pagdating sa food and service. some caterers we tried may mga super hits talaga pero na-outweigh naman ng misses. unlike with M na kahit may dishes kame na di masyadong bet, mas nakalamang pa rin sila sa dami ng hits and they gave us the freedom to choose our menu with minimal restrictions kaya we were able to create a menu that we and all our guests were able to enjoy.

I got customized rate sa M Catering. Parang bet ko na sila.

But My coordinator is recommending lang KByC. Sulit daw talaga sa styling. Or MaDel's sulit sa presyo talaga.

Or the usual, Hizons and Josiah.

Natawa talaga ko sa sinabi nya. "Sis ano na pakiramdam mo sa Caterer?"

Hahaha sabi ko "papakiramdaman ko nalang kasi di ko matikman?" Hahahaha. Kaloka. Hirap ng overseas couple talaga!

we booked KbyC kahit di pa namin nata-try yung food nila  then naka-attend kami sa food tasting ng Josiah's, Hizon's and just last week initial FT with KbyC.

Josiah's: ok naman food nila, masarap for me pero sobrang di ko nagustuhan dessert nila. FT namin was during the bridal fair sa smx. sobrang dami nga nilang freebies! not so sure about sa styling nila since magulo sa smx and wala naman pinakita na sample set-up sa amin.

Hizon's: nothing special sa food walang nag-stand out for me. yung soup pwede na, but their desserts are better than josiah's. sa styling naman, ok naman yung pinakita nilang samples

KbyC: initial ft namin last week, sadly wala din ako nagustuhan sa menu nila that day aside sa honey nut prawns. yung cake which would be our wedding cake, masarap! magre-request pa kami ng 2nd food tasting to try yung mga highly recommended sa menu nila, hopefully magustuhan na namin

Pero with me previous FT kay Josiah and Hizons 2 years ago, di din talaga kame nasarapan.


Ayaw ako bigyan ng discount ng AE sa KbyC. talaga stick sya sa P1,195+10% SC and 12% VAT. that's almost P1,500 per head. Its too much. 

Tapos wala naman freebie or something. I don't want to spend that much lalo na hindi ko man lang natikman diba. Risk na nga ito. Ok pa sana kung majujustify ko man lang, yung tipong sobrang sarap at hindi ko kayang i let go.


Should I go with M Catering? or MaDels nalang talaga to save money?
