Can anyone recommend a good caterer/venue that do chinese lauriat for weddings?

Century Seafood and Gloria Maris. I think Tijoe the Caterer also does Lauriat. They're accredited in Blue Leaf.

Need some help.

We have already booked Ibarra's Garden/Ibarra's Catering for our January 07, 2017 wedding.
The food was okay lang -- masarap naman, our AE is very accommodating, they offered us a lot of freebies and amenities. But the thing is hindi kami satisfied sa styling nila, though upgraded floral arrangement yung kasama sa package, di pa rin kami okay with that kasi ang so-so lang nung styling nila (based on what we saw during their GFT and on the reviews I read online).

Then we are now re-considering Josiah's Catering. Masarap kasi talaga yung food nila, wala kaming masabi ni h2b. With the styling naman, I think wala na kami magiging problem kasi kasama na yung thematic styling sa package. If mag-go kami kay Josiah's we will be choosing Light of Love as our reception. Madaming freebies binigay si Josiah's but LOL has limited amenities to offer.

In terms of food & styling, kay Josiah's kami. But as for amenities, mas marami from Ibarra's. Amenities na kasama na sa package ni Ibarra's pero wala kay LOL -- LCD projector, bridal car, photobooth, wedding cake.

Torn kami ngayon. Kasi ayaw ko ng mag-stretch ng budget dahil nagku-kuripot ako. Hahaha!

hi sis pogi02 we also booked LOL for our reception but with a different caterer. same thing, we do not have those freebies but it was ok with us since we preferred to book with other suppliers naman. i guess consider if you are very particular with those freebies or not and if you can find suppliers for those na cheaper naman then you can consider LOL with Josiah's as your caterer. Which venue sa LOL sis? since kami nagka unforseen styling cost kami dun and sa L&S.

Question din, we plan to take Tiffany Package yung P635/head. Pero iniisip ko na baka sa styling mas ginagandahan nila kung ang kukunin ko yung P710/head

Which is better, to take the cheapest package ng high/mid range caterer, or the highest package ng low end caterer?

Tanong ko sa isip ko yung ang styling ba is naka based din sa package na kinuha mo, or sa food lang nagkakatalo kaya tumataas yung price? Baka kapag mababang food package kinuha mo super basic styling lang, pag mas mahal na food package, magandang maganda yung styling.

aww sis ileletgo mo na si Ibarra's? If mas magiging happy ka dun then go for it:) Oks lang magsplurge minsan, kikitain din naman yun:) ang mahalaga, no regrets sa wedding kasi babalik-balikan mo yun forever:) Saka sis take note mo din yung mga past probs ng brides dito sa LOL ha?

good choice sis. Sila din ang 2nd choice namin:) Kaya lang we decided to go with Tantoco's kasi nadala kami sa free drapings na must have sa reception namin hihi:) But if wala yun, go din kami sa Ma Dels. Sarap din ang food:)

Actually, almost the same yung rates nila, a lil bit higher lang pag yung venue package ni LOL ang kukunin namin. If ever, Integrity yung plan namin i-book. Panong nagkaron kayo ng unforseen styling cost and dun sa L&S?

Undecided pa kami sis. Torn talaga kami e. Pinipilit namin mag-stick on our budget, siguro konting stretch lang. Heheh.
Madami ba nagka-prob sa LOL before? Actually, ngayon lang ulit ako nag-open ng GT ko. Balik wedding preps na ulit kami. Kaya feeling ko ang dami ko ng iba-back read. Hahah! Shocks!

is integrity the one beside atrium? i think ok lang dun. we got Loyalty kasi so the drapes are not included and something that I did not include in our budget. I'm not sure lang kung anong execution yung gagawin nung accredited supplier nila for drapes (Amaranthus) since I requested for something different that their usual setup. For L&S I don't like their accredited supplier. I'm booking Rejectkrew instead. Yung assigned kasi sa amin isang reply lang ginawa and parang demanding agad for downpayment for the upgrades. becuase honestly i would prefer na they give a whole new package kashit hindi na yung kasama sa package ni LOL just to save on costs. pero deadma talaga. I asked my AE for the other supplier contact pero di talaga binigay. So ayun, ayoko ng sakit sa ulo I'm paying the corkage instead.

Pero sis since you're getting a smaller venue than me baka hindi naman ganun ka laki ang kailangan na requirements.

one thing i didn't like is that they accept other events on the same day. so meron wedding kasabay namin. i'm only concerned for the available parking space for my guests within the main venue. as much as possible gusto ko dun sila naka park sa main area para di hassle for them.

Yes sis yun nga yung Integrity. Small venue lang need namin kasi we only have 100-120 guests.
For Loyalty, need mo nga talaga mag-drapes dun sis. I think okay naman yung Amaranthus, mataas naman ratings nila sa fb. For the L&S, parang may nabasa nga ako before na nagkaka-prob sila dun sa accredited nila. Yung package ba na kinuha mo hindi pa kasama si L&S that's why nagrerequire na agad sila ng DP?

Who's your AE pala sis?

As far as I know nag-aaccept talaga sila ng sabay sabay na wedding as long as kayang i-accommodate ng mga venues nila. Yun nga lang, in terms of parking area, pag puno na sa loob, pinapa-park na nila dun sa labas, yung sarili nilang parking area na halos katapat ng LOL. Hassle nga sa mga guests sis, tatawid pa ng kalsada.

finally settled issue with our caterer! yeeeeey! thank God! May small charge pa din naman for the wines. Maybe di lang tama yung term na ginamit ni caterer. Should be service charge instead of corkage kaya siguro medyo nainis ako. haha!

For the water dispenser, kami na lang talaga magdadala nito

Sis pogi02 may nabasa kasi ako na review online na madaming wala dun sa napagusapan with Amaranthus. But sir ren has been very patient with my kaartehan and my constant changing of pegs and willing naman to work on it. nagsusuggest pa siya minsan or nagbibigay ng updates if may bagong stuff siya.

For L&S yung basic sound system kasama. pero as i went through with the specs parang hindi enough for my venue. and since walang par lights of any sort you really have to result to upgrading. so i added up our upgrades needed parang mas sulit na i get na lang from someone else na madali kausap. porket di lang ako nagdown ayaw na ko ientertain. and 2 questions lang ang hiningi ko. oh well... move on na lang ako kaysa magpakastress. i do hope you do not encounter that should you decide to book LOL.

My AE is Steph and she has been helpful and answers questions right away, except for this L&S boo boo. Otherwise I'm ok with her. At first medyo promote siya na I get Hizon's since mas sulit ata ang package if sila. But I considered LOL over other venues because of the KbyC package.

Pero about parking sana isplit man lang equally with the other event. para i can give priority to my guests na seniors or those with kids. 6 spaces lang daw ang guaranteed for me.

Hopefully maging okay naman ang outcome with Amaranthus. Let's cross our fingers nalang since Sir Ren seems to be open naman with your pegs.

Malaki kasi yung chosen venue mo sis kaya hindi rin talaga keri kung basic sound system lang. Well yun lang kung mahirap nga silang kausap, para less hassle, tama naman yung decision mo to get other L&S.

Same pala tayo ng AE, si Steph rin sakin. Mabait naman sya and very accommodating. Pag sure na kami kay LOL, I'll try to highlight nalang din si L&S nila, atleast now I know. Thanks for the heads up sis!

Ay konti nga ng allotted space. Kaso feeling ko wala tayong magagawa dun. I think they are being fair nalang din to the others who have booked them. Unless, konti lang ang events nila on your wedding day, baka pede pakiusapan. Kelan ka pala sis?

Jan 10 2016 ako sis.

My mom did an occular also and nadumihan siya sa floor ng Loyalty. She voiced that out to Steph directly though and at least nagsabi na ipapalinis daw nila pag nadudumihan daw talaga kami haha. Partly hindi ko pa pinush sa kanya na I hate their L&S supplier and sana man lang they consider with the corkage coz 6k is no joke. Overall ok pa naman ang LOL for me, just a few minor hiccups.

With sir Ren, i'm ok with him. Just crossing my fingers that he delivers but so far easy to deal with. Wala lang talaga sa budget ang styling for the ceiling pero kailangan e.

Pero depends din on your date sis. Unfortunately the wedding na kasabay namin kasing dami ata namin ng guests. Ayun, paunahan na lang sa parking. ang I'll warn my guests na lang na agahan na lang nila para di hassle.

We met with her last Saturday. She was very nice and she answered all our questions

I think she had discussed with us the answers to your concerns.

The difference for the Standard and Tiffany package is only the chairs. The Tiffany package includes the Tiffany / white folding chairs.

Sa styling, they give the same quality regardless of the chosen per person price. Ang difference lang with the packages is for the number of dishes

What impressed me most was when I asked her if we can pay the reservation she told me to book the venue first because it's sayang if we pay the reservation fee and they are not accredited sa venue, we'll forfeit the reservation.

We're 100% sure to book her na, I just have to secure the venue first.

^yung isang caterer kasi sis, we thought na affordable sila. though yes pasok naman sa budget. and maganda styling. food is okay naman during food tasting. kaso hit or miss ang feedback and reviews kahit dito sa gt.

so we set ft schedule with other caterers. last sunday with hizons, masarap ang food. we booked them right away kasi tinapatan nila yung budget namin dun sa previous caterer. napa oo sila kasi 200 naman daw guests namin saka okay din freebies.
