question: what does your contract with the caterer say about cases of stomach ache or food poisoning after the wedding reception?

i heard about this incident with a well loved caterer here in GT and w@w, i'd rather not name them since 2nd hand info lang naman ito. anyway, what happened was a lot of the guests complained of stomach ache the day after the reception. their guess is may mga napanis na food because of the changing weather conditions, sobrang init then biglang ulan. the caterer refused to pay any damages at first since wala naman daw proof, pero obvious naman kasi na sa food nila yun, so they ended up reimbursing the amount one dish from the menu that they think caused the issue.

has anyone encountered this kind of problem before? ano ba talaga dapat ang action for these kinds of incidents?

Hi sis. Done FT yesterday. As expected, na-enjoy namin 'yung food na hinain sa'min Final na ito, sis. As in nakapili na kami for the wedding. Ang aga no? Ha ha

^^bzbee My fiance's family has experienced the same 'food poisinong' from a Tagaytay wedding, caterer ko pa naman. Super dami sa kanila nasiraan ng tiyan. Kaya they're not too happy with our choice. I also dont know what to do if this happens

we budgeted 600/head for 150pax

tapos ang need ko yung my styling na sana kasi di na carry ng budget kung kukuha pa ng stylist.

Anong budget ba dapat para may kasama ng styling?

ang hirap pala talaga mag budget, lalo na ganto ka pressure, limited time and resources. hayyyy.

Done with our initial FT with RichGold and I was not impressed with their food. Sobrang konti pa nung hinanda sa amin. 2 kinds of pasta lang and 3 main dishes. Hindi man lang namin nasample yung desserts nila. Super accomodating pa naman nung AE na nag assist sa amin and ang dami niyang ibibigay sa amin na freebies (ghost chairs, etc). Crossing RichGold na sa options namin.

Sis hermione28 try Ma Del's Catering, madaming good reviews about them being affordable and included na din ang styling nila. Nag inquire na din ako sa kanila. mabilis naman sumagot via facebook

pero i suggest siguro mga 2 months before your wedding check ka sa kanila baka may bago silang dishes. sa tatlong ft namin sa kanila lageng may bagong dish na sine-serve kaya sobrang enjoy talaga kame ni hubby sa ft. hehe

Bizu, hands down. Pati styling classy sila so nothing to worry about. All guests and not just VIPs have plate chargers. This was something i requested and my midrange caterer cannot provide it! Sisi talaga ako.

Sis, Verleo loyalist here. Andami ng serving nila at ang food the best. They were our caterer during our wedding in Tagaytay. Panalo sa sarap, wala akong pagsisisi na sila pinili namin ng hubby ko. Generous servings pa!

Sis rm1015, bizu's rate per head would cost you 1700-2700 depending on which package you avail. Without the add ons yan. But they're worth it. If bizu were accredited in our chosen venue, I would've booked them.

Verleo's office is in san juan. I've attended two thanksgiving parties catered by verleo and food was superb. I love their salpicao! And yeah, i agree with the generous portions.

Up ko lang din to. Also waiting for suggestions. Coz reputable pa pala yung caterer. Initial menu binigay 4 course even if from the start sabi ko 5. According sa venue person (I dunno her exact title) the caterer said hindi daw nila kaya. Worry ko is if I insist with 5 tapos mapanisan din sila coz kami nga yung makulit. Ugh.
