Is this the same one that the Burmese women use? If it is, I use one but the solid cream variant (you have to wet it to spread it). I discovered this during our trip to Myanmar. Very effective sya for my hormonal pimples. One to two days lang my pimple's dry na. For me this one's better plus cheaper pa than my Mario Badescu drying potion. I'm just wondering where to get this here in Manila once I finish my supply.

I've used the organic thanaka one from uno but I think meron din nun na di from that networking (?). Yung hinahaluan ng water na mask. It's made from sandalwood I think. Super duper effecctive for me! Sobrang tinitipid ko sya. Better than turmeric yung effect nya. Pag nilagay ko overnight sa swollen pimples ok na sya by morning and di na sya red.

Paubos na nga so I'm really looking kung saan meron nito na affordable. Ang konti kasi ng laman nung sakin eh ang mahal mahal. Akala ko hanggang ilalim yung product kasi and laki ng lalagyan tapos parang mena lang pala na sa ibabaw lang meron. 

Can anyone suggest kung saan meron neto ang how much?

I had to check the literature that came with the thanaka jar. The brand is Shwe Pyi Nann and they export to the Philippines. Wala nga lang sinabi saan dito binebenta. The one that I have I bought in one of the temples in Bagan and sells for roughly Php85 for a 40gm jar. The vendors there also sell thanaka barks na ikaw na ang mag-grind and they're a lot cheaper than the prepared pastes. Sana pala bumili na ako ng marami pang-stock.

Wow! Super mura! Samantalang ang benta nung sakin is 800 or 600 ata? Tagal na kasi. Sana makakita ako dito nun! Ito lang kasi talaga binabalik balikan ko product pag di na effective yung iba kong ginagamit. Parang pwede rin syang powder for day if manipis lagay eh.

Wow! Parang gusto ko tuloy i-try to. Right now i'm using queen helene mint julep mask for pimple spot treatment pero mukang mas ok tong thanaka powder. Sana may magreply where to buy this. I tried the innisfree jeju volcanic blackhead out balm pero don't know if may effect.

^^Wow grabe mahal pala nyan dito!  I never tried it as face powder. Sabagay when ka-chika ko yung mga vendor sabi nga nila they use it as sunblock pero makapal yung application nila. As in you will see Burmese ladies and kids with yellow paste all over their faces. Minsan meron pang leaf impression designs. Parang nakakahiya gawin ko dito yan.    Sige I will look around din dito and update the thread pag meron akong nakita.

^Yes sis sunblock nga din daw sya. Ang lamig sa skin kaya ok din sana for summer kung sa bahay lang. Nagaabsorb din ng oil and medyo nakakatighten din ng skin if medyo makapal na mask ang lagay.

May nagpasalubong sa akin nito last year.  Nung malapit na maubos sinearch ko sa internet sa Pilipinas known sya as Bio Essence.  Yun nga lang hindi ko pa din sya makita dito.  buti na lang nagbalik sa Myanmar yung friend ko, naghoard na ako.  Merong Bio Essence sa HK sa Sasa, or sa Watsons, sa Malaysia.  Di ko pa sya try hanapin dito sa Pinas.

^Oh! Thanks for the info. I'll be in HKG next week and puntahan ko sa Sasa. Check ko rin if it's the same thanaka paste under a different brand.

wow dami pala good feedbacks sa thanaka ...yan kasi suggest sa akin ng may ari ng mkay organic soap,,kasi nga oily and pimple prone ,hormonal skin ko ,,im already 40s pero nagkakapimples parin me ,,good as face mask ,and pwede rin daw as powder for sun protection....antay ko pa [textspeak!] package ko galing sa myanmar din,,,pati thanaka soap try ko rin....mas prefer ko kasi organic or naturals na gamit sa face...

I jjust checked her pics sa fb page nya, she used to have thanakha soaps and the powder pala sis was a mixture of other cleansing powders and 1 is the thanakha

got my package,with thanaka powder and thanaka soap....excited to use,,I do thanaka face mask in thin application only,parang makapal na foundation ang itsura,its very cool to my face ,so I leave it for almost 4 hrs,now ko lang binanlawan,,kaso pag banlaw ko ,grabe ang hapdi na ng face ko,,redness on my cheeks ,natakot ako kaya nag ice cubes agad ako....
may naka experience ba sa inyo nyan?
