^^ Mas stable kasi the Command for me. 'Yung Gusto 'di ko na sinukat, too light for my liking, feeling ko 'di masyadong durable.

^ Cuter designs help of course. :D but hardcore runners buy their shoes based sa gait etc. I myself wouldn't know kasi the most expensive running shoes I've bought are my Asics Nimbus 16 pero wala naman masyadong difference sa takbo ko.

^sis, if you want pa-fit ka sa Runner sa BGC (I don't know if there are other branches).  papatakbuhin ka sa treadmill.  tapos review nyo yung video.  the sales associates will explain what type of shoes ang most appropriate for you.  yung shoe display nila, naka categorize by level of support i.e. neutral, stability, motion control.  then they will measure your feet (length and width).  usually you need to go 1 - 1.5 size bigger than your usual leather shoes kasi your feet will expand while you run.  ako I followed their advise and am so happy with my Asics Kayano.  Before kasi, I was using NB and Asics Gel Express, and hindi ako makatakbo ng matagal.  sumasakit legs and knees ko

^ Hala, ganyan din nangyayare saken now sis. After running, super sakit talaga nung inner thighs ko even if short distance lang and I always do warm up and cool down. I find this weird na sumasakit sya everytime since I've been running for 3 weeks now and nag-wo-workout din ako regularly. Tapos parang nagka shin splints pa(parang exagg, I hope it's not but there's a mild pain sa lower front legs ko kase). Ok lang ba magpapa gait analysis even if hindi muna bibili? Haha. Hope merong 2-3k na shoes sa Runner.

^sis artificialstar, well no commitment to buy naman.  ako din hindi bumili dun, although I am very tempted.  I really like the service kasi.  Pero I have budget constraints at the time.  Kaya kahit kakahiya, nagpa analyze ako tapos online ako bumili =(  Sa Asics din, meron gait analysis, pero parang na-intimidate ako....

^^ normal lang yan sis. Sabihin mo [textspeak!] nagsscout ka pa ng options and that babalikan mo sila on pay day or when ever. :)

Medyo OT, pero have you girls tried running socks before? I bought one sa nike. It's called drifit performance cushioned socks. Ang tight nya pala, parang di masyadong maganda yung form ng feet ko nung nag run ako. First time nangyare to saken, yung socks [textspeak!] naman yung binago ko sa routine ko. Parang slight runners knee, masakit kase pag mag bend yung knees.  :-X

hi sisses! just started running, ask ko lang sana what shoes kaya ang okay para sa mga flat footed? sumasakit kasi talaga yung feet ko pag natakbo. tia!

^sis, flatfoot (overpronator) din ako. Recommended sa kin sa Runnr is stability shoes. I got asics kayano, and i'm very happy with it. my husband naman severe overpronator, and ang recommended is motion control shoes.

^^ kapag normal arch ang feet sis, anong need na shoes?

tsaka totoo ba mga sis, na when choosing running shoes, choose one that is half a size bigger than your usual size kase nag-eexpand ang feet while running? so if 22.5cm ka, dapat 23cm piliin mo? does this apply for trainer shoes as well?

I bought New Balance running shoes few months ago, on my regular shoe size. pero width nya is D - wide instead of the usual B. so para nga sa pag-expand ng feet while running. nag-join ako ng fun run, 10K and comfy naman sya :)

sis artificialstar, I don't really know.  meron ako nakikita neutral shoes, but no idea if yun nga ang for normal arch.

on size, for my case I have to go a full size up.  6.5M ako sa leather shoes, but for rubber shoes I go for 7M.  My feet was measured tapos the recommendation was for 7.5M para daw may space yung feet to expand while running

Thanks sissies for your replies. Anyway, nagpa analyze ako sa Runnr kanina. Size 5 right foot ko and 5.5 naman for my left foot. For my flats/heels/everyday shoes, size 5 talaga ako. Recommended saken is size 6 to give space sa feet pag nagrrun :) tapos normal yung arch ko but when I run, I overprontate so stability shoes nirecommend saken. Went to Nike and size 6 din recommended heehee. So glad I went to Runnr, alam ko na stability pala need ko for running.

Just an update girls... I've decided na to have separate shoes for workouts/training and running. I'm using Nike Flex TR for training. Gonna buy soon my pair of stability running shoes.  ;D

Thanks sissies for educating me about this.
