sis, ok din naman yung second look kaya lang kasi mahal na yung add-on. If meron naman na friend or relative na pwedeng umayos ng hair mo like yung kay sis mamey. Also, tell your hmua about dun sa plan mo na mag second look (courtesy of a friend/relative) para ma-adjust nya hair style mo, yung tipong di mahirap ayusin in case kayo lang gagawa.

my friend who got married last December didn't avail of the second, she asked me instead to change her hairstyle and retouch her makeup (i did her hmu on her engagement shoot; i used to do freelance makeup).  since hindi ko nakita exactly kung pano inayos nung HMUA yung hair nya, i asked her to ask the hairstylist kung paano nya exactly ginawa yung updo, haha from there i had an idea kung paano sya ibababa for the reception. so we did a simple lang na low side ponytail. sa makeup naman, super basic retouching lang, inayos lang din namin yung false eyelashes nya since natanggal na kakaiyak, tapos added some darker crease color since dinner reception naman, tapos blush and highlight.

i guess kung hindi keri mag avail ng second look, pero gusto ng ibang peg for the reception, ask help from a friend or someone who knows basic hairstyling and makeup. for sure may kaibigan or kakilala kayo who watches too much youtube, siguradong may alam yan kahit papano, hehe.

my HMUA's rate is 8k for bride and groom + second look.

just booked Val Villarin, as in ngayon lang  kanina ko lang siya tinext and ininform niya ko last day daw ng promo niya today. buti available siya sa date namin.

kabado ako at first since wala pa yata kami 30 mins magkatxt. haha pero convinced naman ako sa portfolio niya. and tiwala ako sa review ni sis belle_v2g sa kanya. so pikit mataaaaa 

and, my this is it feeling ako sa kanya in fairness. tagal ko na din siya naririnig. finally, I just can't say no to his offer

My cousin had Val during her wedding sis juyjuy.. ang ganda ng makeup nya I thought it would have cost around 30k. My cousin kase had a very clear skin and she's maputi so it would have contributed to the good output. Another hmua na nagagalingan ako is santos. Dati ayoko ng total transformation pero choice naman pala ng bride yon. Akala ko kase mariah decides for them. Hehe! Ang galing nya din esp. In hiding blemishes and eye bags. pero nasa 30k plus naman sya..

Hi belle! Thanks pala for referring Thea. I told Thea na the shoot will take 3 days due to the location and the distance/ travels between locations. I gave her the dates pa to check kung free sya. Nagkafalling out lang kami dahil she wanted to be back pala on May 2 when the soonest she could be back if she serviced me was May 3 at 6am. Maybe she had a gig then, i dont know. She apologized and said it nicely naman na she had to back out. I understood her, but i just didnt appreciate na she did it so close to the prenup date kasi tagal na namin nagusap before! It had been weeks since our last chat. She was also nice enough to say she'll help me look for alternatives although wala naman sya naproduce. So it caused me a lot of stress to find her replacement agad agad, di na rin ako umasa sa network nya. Froilan and Erik actually saved me bec my videographer didnt have an alternative date na free pa sila kung di natuloy yung originial prenup dates namin. Good thing they were actually more affordable than i thought. I gave them both tip on top of their rate for being so professional and accommodating. Buti nalang everything still ended so well.

It is clearly an issue of miscommunication but the HMUA wouldn't know if clients do not give all the exact information. During our convo, she mentioned that you booked her from April 30 to May 2, so that is total of 3 days, and I believe your shoot is not only 1 day, whilst, the rate she gave is only her OOT whole day prenup rate. Maybe she wasn't told na hindi lang whole day ng May 1 ang shoot, hehe!  The good thing is that, she asked for the itinerary otherwise, she wouldn't have any idea about it.. But definitely not her intention to draw it closer to the prenup date. Buti na lang din you still had 2 months to look for a kapalit that will fit to your budget.. Yeah, she said she's trying to help you look for someone else kaso i heard the rate you asked for definitely won't work with her too. Buti na lang nagwork para kina Froilan at Erik. what a blessing.

Sis belle, I got Ish Sison. I like how she does the eyes. Pihikan kasi ako sa eye makeup. Mahilig din ako mag makeup eh 15k rate niya for airbrush for the bride & groom + 2 high definition makeup. Add 3k for unlimited retouch. Mejo pricey siya kasi hindi dun included yung trial makeup. I don't know na her rates for this year or if she increased.

Sis simang, I like that idea! I have a friend who sidelines as a makeup artist. I didn't get her to do my makeup kasi bridesmaid ko siya eh. Baka ma-stress na siya. Maybe she can fix my hair nalang for a second look? Then again, if I just pay an additional 3k, I can get a completely different look from my hmua talaga! Hmmm. I'll think about it, but thank you for this advice! So helpful

Gusto ko rin si Mariah Santos. She was my first choice! Pero booked na raw siya sa date ko. And to think i inquired 1 year before my wedding date ha. Another makeup artist I like is Precious Medina. Pero nga lang when I found her, I already booked Ish Sison. But when Precious got married, she got Ish to do her makeup so I'm in good hands

She never told me she gave me her 1-day rate. Ohwell i guess she misunderstood lang talaga. It's okay i'm over it.

I had two WEEKS, not two months, to look for a replacement!! So i also did not make a big deal out of it na and the moment she backed out I searched far and wide. Actually ngayon ko lang pala to nakwento. The days leading to the prenup were so busy and was on such a high din during so i forgot about it na!

Malaki talaga utang ko kay Froilan and Erik. Nagdala din sila ng car and paid for their own gas and toll etc so i really found their rate to be very friendly. Plus 4 sila so dami kong alalay haha!

^chocnats, i suggest you contact Andrew Jardenil. He was actually my first choice for my prenup and he also has the friendliest rate, you'd be surprised. reco din sya ng former bride here and her pics were gorgeous! Kaso he was booked na on the date I needed! I also like Ish Sison!

Sis barbeecue, same rate pala sila ni Thea!! 15k din sya, plus 2 heads, plus groom and unlimited prenup looks.. then additional 2k lang for 2nd look Buti na lang madami pang good HMUAs na afford pa din.

it could be negligence on either side but surely won't get misunderstood if itinerary was explained in details coz thea probably did not realised that a prenup sesh can actually go on for 'days'.. and if you are getting the hmua for 3 days, you definitely will have to pay for those days too.. di ka naman nagtaka sis bakit yun lang rate binigay sayo? coz the price will definitely triple kung alam lang nya haha!!! ay is it 2 weeks ba? that was april kasi when we were chatting, nasabi nga nya what happened, kung di sya nag email she wouldn't know pa.. that must have been really hard, communication is really important talaga between suppliers and clients.

wow naman very abot-kaya pala sina Froilan & Erik. others will probably charge more than they did. ideally talaga, you pay for their gas and toll too.. that's the rule with OOT prenups. good on you.

^Sis belle i think it's all water under the bridge now, di ko na rin dinibdib ang source ng miscomm because honestly, i didn't have time to get stressed talaga with the prenup being so near then. Di ko na pinalaki yung issue...im not going to comment further on twisted details kasi I didnt even have that blaming drama with Thea, nagrefund lang kami then thats that, maayos kami move on. :p Prayed hard nalang for things to go well despite that hiccup and I am just glad that my prenup did. God is really good.

But anyway for the benefit nalang of those interested...Si Froilan and Erik, all-in prenup rate binigay nila sakin so it was clear i didnt have to pay for their gas and toll, they just made me shoulder rooms and food for 3 days and I gave them big snack bags for their car (own initiative lang) Affordable talaga sila and super nice and ok kausap! Just let them know what style you like else they will decide it for you.

Not sure about his wedding rates since that time he was recommended to me, prenup ang pinag-uusapan, pero nung Feb lang yun and ang rate nya daw was 5k airbrish makeup 3 looks pa. I think there is a high chance his rates could work for you. Goodluck!

sis ghelyn30, the only advantage of booking is early is locking their price. Pero if i may suggest, later ka na lang mag book, mag wait ka na lang muna ng ibang reviews or photo ng mga peg mong hmua..this is better kesa masayang dp mo for a reservation na di ka satisfied and comfortable.

^sis yun nga eh, minsan kasi kaya ako sobrang excited mag book kasi naghahabol din ako ongoing promo. Alam ko kasi by next year, mag pprice increase nanaman ang mga hmua suppliers, siguro i'll let it pass nalang muna, before nalang mag end ang 2015 ako mag book ng hmua. hehe! Thank you sis! =)
