^di ba kasama naman talaga sa package yung 2nd look sa reception sis? ang alam ko lang na di usually sinasama ay yung trial eh. ako isspecify ko na lang sa MUA ko yung gusto kong look na flawless, yung mahihide yung mga blemishes, maoopen yung eyes and macocontour yung face para di naman mukhang manas on cam. hehe. yung sa pagiging oily kasi will depend on your skin type na talaga eh so kahit gano ka high-end pa ang products na gamitin, kung oily ka oily talaga. nandyan naman ang mga oil control film to rescue. hehe.

Also, factor din yung ayos ng hair sa pagiging mature looking ng bride. may mga binabagayan kasi yung kunwari mga brush up na updo. Another thing pa pala, wearing contact lens will enhance your look to!

^sis! Ang pagkaintindi ko naman is meron silang package na HMU with unli re-touch ups before leaving the prep venue. Yan yung standard ata, then mas mahal kasi ata yung may 2nd look sa reception kasi aside sa ire-retouch ka nila, babaguhin din nila yung hair style mo? Ayun yung pagkakaintindi ko sis. hehe!

Re contact lenses, i am thinking about this sis, hindi ba sya makakasama if mega crayola ka sa wedding tapos naka contacts ka? hehe! haven't tried it yet din.

ghelyn30: sis madali ma itago ang blemishes including facial birthmarks using airbrush. But this is not the basis of the skill of the HMUA. Almost any HMUA kaya yon. What you need to look at is yung eye makeup especially the eyebrows, kung type mo yung style nila of treating those features.  =) =)

Ay ganun ba sis? Like me kasi, wala talaga akong idea sa make-up pero kapag nag che-check ako ng works ng mga HMUA, yes sa face features then sa eyes talaga kasi yung eyes ang nagdadala sa entire look para sakin. Meron akong bridal pegs, kaso di ko naman ma say if bagay ba sakin yung ganun, unless mai-trial. Hahaha!!!

Unfortunately, Soleil is booked na on our date. And for sure mahal sya kasi matataga ako sa oot fee since Tagaytay wedding kami. Isip ko kapag pinakita ko to sa magiging possible HMUA ko, hindi ba sila ma-offend? hehe! May watermark kasi yung mga pics. hehe!

ako sis ang puti ng face ko nung wedding namin. sa personal sabi ng friends ko ang puti but when they saw the pictures and videos bakit daw ganon di maputi mukha ko pumantay daw sa damit at kulay ng balat ko. siguro daw ganon talaga dapat kaputi para maganda kalabasan sa pic at videos

Former client na ako ng FroilanErik.. Booked them 2 weeks before my prenup bec Thea Dionisio backed out on me. They saved me! They are very very professional and never late. Ako nahihiya sa kanila kasi lagi sila maaga tipong 3am gumising for 5am makeup time. They are very nice din and experienced. Pero di lang ako super happy sa work kasi may look sila na hindi natural na ginawa on me and i noticed lately na lahat ng post nila pareho lang makeup nila ng mga bride bagay or not. So still torn in im getting them for my ento sa wedding.

Hi sis ghelyn30!  I was wearing contact lens for 10 years until I decided to have Lasik surgery nung umuwi kame ni h2b last year.  2 things happened nung umiyak ako with my contacts on, yung sa left eye ko, natanggal & nahulog pero mas madalas yung nagmomoist yung contacts ko so nagiging cloudy yung vision.  I had to take them off, clean them then put them on again.  Pero maganda talaga sa eyes ang contacts especially kung bagay sayo yung colour niya

Sparkling jewel, Thea did mentioned that incident to me.. I know the reason why she backed out on you. good thing she texted you to ask about the details otherwise she wouldn't know na you'll hold them for a couple of days pala coz she's planning to bring her car. She wasn't informed na 3 straight, whole day shoot pala so she only gave you her 1 day rate. Lugi nga naman sya non.

sis ghelyn30, ahh okay ganun pala. mas okay sana kung kasama na din yung 2nd look sa reception.

sa contacts naman, sanayin mo na magsuot ng mga 1-2 months siguro before your wedding. everyday ako naka contacts and natry ko na ding umiyak ng may contacts, di naman sya natanggal. depende siguro sa solution na gamit? minsan lang talaga nagddry so parang nangingiyak ngiyak yung feeling.

kung may photographer ka na sis, try mo mag browse ng mga photos or album sa fb page nila, minsan naman nilalagay dun kung sinong HMUA di ba then tignan mo kung maganda yung dating ng face ng bride sa photos nila..

actually may gusto ka nga din akong peg na nakita ko sa ibang MUA. gusto ko din ipakita sa MUA ko, siguro naman di maooffend! hehe.

^sis what kind of second look you want? for me kasi sa ceremony naka up do yung hair ko then sa reception ilulugay ko nalang sha, ganun lang tapos shempre re touch

sis, ok din naman yung second look kaya lang kasi mahal na yung add-on. If meron naman na friend or relative na pwedeng umayos ng hair mo like yung kay sis mamey. Also, tell your hmua about dun sa plan mo na mag second look (courtesy of a friend/relative) para ma-adjust nya hair style mo, yung tipong di mahirap ayusin in case kayo lang gagawa.

^sis agree on this. Kaya diko narin peg ang 2nd look kasi di na pasok sa budget namin. hehe! Pang ceremony lang talaga. Kung sino man mapili ko na HMUA, ganyan nalang sabihin ko sis. Ayoko nga sana naka up yung hair ko kasi bilog ang muka ko. Pero bahala narin if kayanin ko pa mag trial make up for next year paguwi namin. hehe!

I'm hilo hilo na sa pagpili ng HMUA. Siguro wag na muna ako mag book no? Since matagal pa naman wedding namin. Medyo nakakadagdag to ng stress ko.
I am considering froilanerik since may on going promo kasi sila na pumasok sa budget namin for HMUA. And gusto ko rin naman yung mga works nila.

I am not particular with make-ups kasi talaga, so I don't know what are the things that I need to consider when looking for a hmua. Haaayyysss.

Sis! I got rate of Nini but unfortunately yung on going promo nila, hindi pwede i-apply sa wedding date namin next year. Yung rate nya for next year medyo pricey na for me, so I crossed her out na on my list.

i had two looks during our wedding.  first look was hair updo, soft smokey eyes na slightly winged, then pink lipstick (and contouring of course). second look was sa reception na, hair half-down, she changed the color of my smokey eyes then red lipstick since it's a dinner reception..

^^sis sagot mo ba entos hmua? ako kasi ang ginawa ko kinuha ko lang bride and groom 8k lang (airbrush) then 3500 sa prenup (airbrush too). that time ata 12k rate nya plus 2 heads? i cant remember na pero mas nakatipid ako nung nag bride and groom only lang ako.

I literally had 2 different looks during our wedding coz I had to change my gown before reception so total change of hair and make up too.

sis ghelyn30, the only advantage of booking is early is locking their price. Pero if i may suggest, later ka na lang mag book, mag wait ka na lang muna ng ibang reviews or photo ng mga peg mong hmua..this is better kesa masayang dp mo for a reservation na di ka satisfied and comfortable.

hi sis shygirlme, i booked for me and h2b only..my entou, since budget wedding kami.. i asked them to kindly pay for their hmua and they all agree:)

thanks for the reply sissies! 3k yung add on sa hmua ko for second look. pwede na yun noh? i don't know kasi if the second look is more of a "want" than a "need". i'm scared kasi baka hindi mag-last yung makeup ko until reception kaya baka kelangan ng second look?

sis shygirlme my hmua will do my makeup, groom and 2 moms. i got a second set of hmuas for family members who are in the entourage. non-family members in the ento, i kindly asked them to shoulder their own hmua nalang.

sis belle, i don't have a reception dress eh. 1 dress lang all throughout. do you think i should avail the second look?

^whos your hmua? hmm. its up to you sis if you want a second look. honestly ako nanghinangan since yung 2nd look ko di kami nakapag pictorial ng husband ko around the venue. ang konti ng pics sayang mas bet ko pa naman ayos ko sa 2nd look. up do kasi sa 1st look ko. yung 2nd look naka curls na nakapony. sayang tagal ko pinahaba buhok ko para mai curls ng maganda.

Sis barbeecue who's your hmua sis? 3k I think is ok na for the 2nd look sis mine is 2k tapos 15k yung package ko plus 2 heads.

sis juwie, di ko alam how much ento makeup ni val but I could probably ask my cousin about that. Pero bridal makeup rates nya di ako makapaniwala nung malaman ko.. super affordable talaga.
