Hi, we went to HK last week (May 5-9).

I recommend the following:

Hotel Benito - for its location! Very near the MTR TST station but just enough distance for the vicinity not to be noisy and crowded. There's a bakery pa just beside the entrance of the hotel! No breakfast included in the hotel, no problem! Ang sarap ng bread dun sa bakery. Madami ding resto choices around the area - fast food or authentic, meron.

Golden Crown - for the discounted tickets! walking distance from our hotel, we bought Macau ferry, Disneyland, and also Ocean park tickets here. They give you the tickets na mismo.

Pineapple Bun or Bo Luo Bao - been craving for this since yesterday... wahh! Wala akong makita na nagtitinda ng plain nito dito, puro may pork filling na.

Jenny Bakery in Mirador Mansion - buy only here of you're in Tsim Sha Tsui area, because the ones in Chungking are suspected counterfeits. Super sarap, we brought cans of these cookies hand-carried to Manila, and now paubos na sya hahaha

Nan Lian Garden / Chi Lin Nunnery - maiba naman..the place is not tourist-y if you get what I mean, and I like it that way! Really a breath of fresh air. Better to go early in the morning or late afternoon (5pm -6pm) para hindi mainit.

^sa mirador talaga yung store ng jenny bakery... buti sayo sis umabot gang manila yung cookies, sa amin cans nalang nauwi ko hahaha, mga kids ko sarap na sarap... kahit sa mga sidewalks sa may TST area ng mga stores may mga nagtitinda narin ng jenny bakery tapos discounted pa, kakatakot lang mag buy hindi mo alam kung authentic buti kung hindi food...

SOFIEMAE - yes, andon sa website nila ang stores, only in Mirador and the other one in Sheung Wan. Yung mga nag aalok sa may chungking most probably fake.

blossoms - yes pwede naman bumili sa Golden Crown kahit na hindi ka dun nag-stay.

hi sisses sofiemae and pinkcoyote, how much kaya tickets ng theme parks sa golden crown? kasi yung minention kong asia travel sa previous post ko ay masmabababa ng around 60hkd and may discounted ticket din sila ng venetian gondola sa macau.. but the thing is, im only relying on the rates on web site.. as for their location sa TST lang.. gusto ko sana magpaquote kaya lang masyado pa maaga, december pa kasi trip namin.. gusto ko sana sa isang place na lang ako magpupurchase ng tickets para 1 lakaran na lang..

^eto po rate ng GC compare mo nalang, ako ginawa ko since walang available DL tickets for senior sa GC... upon arrival sa airpot dumaan muna ako sa CTS tapos isinabay ko yung OP mas cheaper kesa sa pina reserved ko sa GC... ang binili ko lang sa GC yung DL tickets for kids & adults mabait naman sila kahit hindi ko kinuha yung OP reservation tickets ko

Sis hindi ko na masyadong tanda exact amount basta nasa HKD100 plus... yung 4 mix flavor yung binili namin... papunta sa sunday friend ko dapat kasama ako kaso may conflict sa scheds ko... nagpabili nalang ako ng cookies, message kita for the exact amount pagdating niya nextweek

Im looking for a hotel which is near the bus station para hindi na ako mahirapan with the luggage, I am also travelling with my daughter who is just 6. 

Ive stayed at Park hotel, BP and Royal. Any other suggestion?

May nakuha ako ng quote for my parents' 2N in HK and 1N in Macau. Okay na kaya eto? Gusto kasi nila package na lang dahil they're old na daw for DIY. Although I plan to get them their own hotel sa Macau and not sa package sana. What do you think? I have not been to HK kaya wala ako idea. I have backread na din but I am not sure if sulit na ba sa kanila ang ganitong package. Thanks!

2. When we arrive HK from Macau, mas maganda bang bumili kami Ng Octopus card sayang kasi yung cost Ng card 5 pa naman kami?

sissies question regarding disney tickets. plan ko kasi to purchase online nalang ng tickets, but i have my 1yo LO with me, eh wala naman option ng tickets for my LO's age. tapos naka note pa sa website na children below 2yo should also have a ticket. how do i go about it? pwede ko purchase nalang muna yung samin adults online, then just get a ticket for my LO sa disney mismo? TIA!
