Cheap Photo & Video Wedding Coverage --- Thread 4

naloloka na ako pumili ng p/v services. andami magaganda,a ndami magagaling. kaya lang limited budget ako at napapamahal sa out of town fee (wedding in Baler).
Talking to Efjay DeLeon din, he really want to cover my wedding, gusto nya kasi yung place. Still under nego pa, napamahal na ko with video team eh.
Pero gusto ko sya kunin, maayos sya kausap, at ease ka mag open ng ideas. fingers crossed na makuha ko services nya kahit photo lang.

^hi sis moana!!! Go get Efjay na!!! I love that kid, super creative and ang bait bait kausap. We'll have our prenup shoot with him next month. Overnight kami but he's not charging out of town fee anymore kahit na supposedly eh 2-day worth dapat ang fee nya. Super dali kausap, i'm sure you'll get a good deal with him. Sana makuha mo sya :-)

Special mention muna kay sis andymendoza for sharing our photo sde. Nagulat ako kase di ko pa nakikita sa vimeo pero na-post mo na sis agad dito. hehe

Just a little side-kwento about our photos. Many of you may have observed that sobrang lakas ng ulan nung July 4. Mula madaling araw hanggang tanghali it was not just raining but it was pouring hard! During my preps pictorial, may mga shots na nakatingin ako sa bintana at kitang-kita ko talaga yung lakas ng ulan. 3 hours before our ceremony, it stopped raining pero sobrang dark pa din ng sky. Tinatanong na ako ng venue, caterer at coordinator if we still wanted to push through with the garden ceremony pero I prayed na lang and said na si Ayie (of Imbitado Events) na ang bahalang mag-decide kung itutuloy sa garden since mas marami syang experience sa ganto. "Surprise me" kumbaga ang nangyari! Haha!

Ayie decided na ituloy sa garden at hindi na talaga umulan for the duration of the ceremony hanggang pictorials! Though take note, the sky above us was a very dark grey with matching rolling clouds and thunder noises in the horizon pero not a drop of rain fell! Miracle garden wedding nga sabi ng isang photog namin and all our suppliers were really amazed na hindi umulan kahit sobrang dilim ng langit and best of all, hindi mo makikita sa pictures kung gano kakulimlim because Michael and his team did an excellent job with our photos. I think sobrang natuwa nga sila kase they gave us the photo SDE as a gift! Another blessing!

Actually, sa video SDE ang daming times na nahuli ko yung sarili ko na nakatingin sa langit kase parang bubuhos na talaga yung ulan. Even sa photo SDE yung tito at grandma ni hubby nakatingin sa langit at nananalangin na wag umulan. It was really one of God's greatest and best gifts sa amin. Kaya pray and keep the faith talaga mga sis because God will make everything work out for good if you put your hope and trust in Him.

Awww... All things work together for good talaga. While you were away here at GT, pinaguusapan din namin your venue, iniisip namin kung covered or what. Apparently si sis juwie ang nakakaalam ng details. Nice photos sis and what a beautiful bride you are!  And well done your black and white theme have a blessed marriage.

sadly, di ko na na-book si GGP dahil naunahan na ko.  but ms. raissa still sent me contacts ng isang photog na recommended din nya, that's Efjay de Leon.  maganda naman shots nya and madali syang kausap, very responsive at mabait.  since photog lang sya, may mga ni-recommend sya sakin na videographer na ka-tie up nya rin.  unfortunately mga ni-recommend nya taga Laguna and sya rin taga south (Laguna or Cavite) so ang out of town charge nila for my Antipolo wedding is 6k.  Efjay said pwede daw nilang babaan up to 3k and pwede rin mag nego on some other items.  photo and video combined, nasa 48k+ yung package with them plus out of town fee.  medyo overbudget na for me.  ang worry ko pa, parang new lang sa business yung videographer nila (though i'm not 100% sure) kaya hesitant na akong kunin sila.

i'm now considering 24 frames.  yung 2nd to highest package nila ay parang lahat nandun na.  lahat ng hinahanap ko.  though di ko masyadong gusto photos nila and video naman ay ok na, i thought baka sa pag uusap na lang yun.  napansin ko kasi pareparehas lang videos, its a matter of what shots you wanted to be captured.  ang dami ko nang video na pinanood.  kahit yung kay nice print, may ibang videos sya na same lang nung mga affordable videographers.  we'll meet with 24 frames this week.  sana talaga makapili na kami ng photo/video.  any brides na kumuha kay 24 frames?  any feedback?

^hi sis tinapay. We also considered getting 24frames though we cancelled on them it was a personal decision on our side wala silang ginawang masama hehe. Okay din sila kausap, and their packages are very affordable. Yung editor nila kasi is from UST kaya madali din makipag negotiate with them. Regarding their outputs, i think it's more on the editing talaga. They have several sets of photographers kaya pwede kayo mamili kung sinong mas gusto nyo.

I booked Efjay Deleon. Di ko alam na he shoots pala for GP and A&A until recently. Sa kanya din ako humingi ng recos for video. Sino binigay nya sayo na team?

Hi sis tinapay, our P/V team is A&A Photography. They also have reasonable rates and sobrang okay ang photos and videos nila. Madali kausap si Mhean (owner and photog). I have a friend who also got A&A. They got married in Lipa, Batangas, and they waived their out of town fee na 5k dapat because they got their premium package. Though my wedding is in December pa, pero I can vouch for the quality of their work.

sis simang: tatlo yung ni-recommend sakin na videographer ni Efjay.  yung pinaka-affordable ay si darryl santos.  even if hindi ko pa alam na si darryl santos yung pinakamura, sya rin yung napili ko sa mga binigay nya.  i'm not sure if he's new to the business pero may mga wedding videos naman na sila na uploaded sa vimeo account nya.  siguro yung package name kasi na pinadala sakin, When We Love est. 2015, kaya i thought bago sila.  nagandahan ako sa shots ni Efjay.  sabi ko nga kay h2b, ibang photog kunin namin for our prenup shoot, since plan namin prenup sa Tagaytay.  si Efjay gusto kong kunin.  e kaso if ever si 24 frames na ang kukunin naming photo/video, kasama na sa package nya yung prenup shoot.

sis paula_vill:  i think nag inquire na ako kay A&A Photography through email.  kaso namahalan ako, hehe.  yung basic nila na 48k, wala pang SDE.  si GGP kasi benchmark ko kaya tuloy feeling ko yung ibang photo/video mahal na. hahaha!

Ah oo nga sis basic package nila, walang SDE. We got their Standard Package kasi. But they customize their services naman ata depende sa budget and preferences ng clients. Yun naalala ko sa email nila before. Hehe. Anyway sis, good luck on your P/V search.

Saw the FB page of Efjay de leon, and okay din ang photos nya. And he's shooting din pala for A&A. Okay din to get yung mga starting palang sa business, kasi pursigido talaga sila and they're building their porftolio kaya papagandahin talaga yung mga works nila.

Sa Laguna kami mag prenup sis. Good luck sa paghanap ng p/v!! For me isa yan sa pinakamahirap kong decision sa preps haha ang dami kasing magagaling and syempre budget considerations na din.

Ahh i see. Not familiar with Darryl Santos. You can customize naman your package with 24 frames kung gusto nyo kumuha ng ibang photog for prenup. Yung sa amin dati na customized package, parang less than 20k lang yung quote nila sa amin. Walang SDE yun just cinematic highlights kaya mas cheap.

Hello! Super new to GT pero I religiously read through this thread from start up to the very last one. And dami ko natutunan at nabuhayan ng loob na meron naman palang p/v na maganda pero affordable. Cannot thank you enough sa lahat ng suggestions. I checked all one by one and followed your advice na dapat alam na ang peg.hihi. As of now like ko yung Team Benitez, CamZar sa Photo and The Spark Series, Dreamechanics at Aisle 1401 sa Video. Kaso I'm clueless sa rates ng mga yon. Di pa kami decided kung next year pero I want sana na ma budget na para maplano ng maayos.hihi
