Just recently had a meeting with my stylist. peak season daw ang december so may additional 10k na on top of my package. he'll be using local & imported flowers but not the usual ones daw. excited na ako to see the mood board.


Lots-o - I was Eyeing mindworks sana buti nalang pala hindi na sila available on our wedding date. cheer up na dear! tama ang ibang sissies natin you deserved better. Goodluck

Thanks mga sis, ok na ako so right now mas looking forward nalang ako dun sa mabobook ko na supplier, matagal pa naman so okay lang and wala naman na akong mock up for ceremony.

^parehas tayo sis rory ako din sobrang important sakin customer service specially for overseas bride like me. Parang dun ka nalang nagrerely sa mga sinasabi nila eh and wala tayong time to meet them and discuss more details. Minsan nga skype nalang.

Im waiting pa for teddy manuel to reply pagwala pa this week tawagan ko siya this friday.  As per my coordinator pumapayag daw siya na ceremony lang. Even badang sis elliedoge he is willing to adjust the price. Pero waiting pa talaga ako kay teddy and Jo. Tempting na magbook pero since magspend na rin ako better mas magandang comparison.

^sis rowan its an advantage na nandyan ka and and near to her place, the incident happened 3 months before the wedding pero 1 month before uwi naman minessage ko na sila mag mock up nun kasi nga last uwi na namin yun before our wedding itself kaso walang reply eh eh yun na yung final details ko. Even our first meeting parang wala ako masyadong nagustuhan na idea from them. The reason why i booked them kasi nirefer siya ng coordinator namin and nakapagarrange na sila sa venue namin sa tagaytay (supposed to be tagaytay kasi kami kaso ayoko na ng hassle kasi our wedding is weekday na so minove ko nalng sa manila) Baka  naman sakin lang yun sis and base don my experience, since hindi narin naman natuloy ayoko narin ng sakit ng ulo talaga.

did teddy manuel also do the drapings of your reception?
im glad he is able to stick with a budget and desired style at the same time. i honestly dont expect that from the high end stylists. so many stylists can be difficult to nego with kasi and we noticed the draping is what makes the expenses balloon.

Yes Teddy also did the drapings for the reception.  I wasn't supposed to get it from him kasi I got quotes from Two Best Four Drapes and Manila Drapes and Teddy's quote which included the drape was still higher but I negotiated it down to the price we were comfortable with and he agreed naman. In total, he gave us a discount of about 50-60K because we also got the entourage flowers from him.  Actually yung quote nya for entourage flowers is super affordable, I was genuinely shocked.  We had A LOT of people in our ento, as in bouquets for the females pa lang we needed at least 20+ for the bridesmaids, ninangs, secondary sponsors and mothers.  Add mo pa yung boutonni?re for the men plus flower girl baskets, another 20+ at saka my bouquet pa, he gave it all to me for 40k lang.

Pareho pala motif natin?  I've always loved the elegance of black and gold eh, and it made it easy for our guests to find something they can wear na black even though we didn't require it naman.  Try to have your coord text him directly or email him and address it to his staff, either Jane or Omar.  I noticed lang he has back-to-back events these days and he's very hands-on in terms of giving quotes kay baka busy lang.  Once you get the ball rolling though, tuloy tuloy na yan.  I was also in the same mindset as you, if you're gonna spend din naman for styling, go for the ones you can trust na talaga.  Ang hirap if you keep second guessing the output, I spent so much time stressing over it.  In the end, he turned out to be one of my favorite suppliers pa.

That's so true!  I  asked for my coord to inquire with other stylists too, I won't name them na din but they're in the top 3, but I didn't feel right about pursuing the inquiry because there was a certain "air" that I didn't appreciate.  I don't know if it's just me but whenever they ask how much our budget is, it turns me off.
Teddy was the right fit for us from the very beginning, from our mock-up pa lang we keep joking na it's love at first sight for us and that I wanted to take him back to LA with us so that he can beautify everything in our home.   I hope he gives you a good price!  He'll accommodate naman as long as it's within reason.

My coord contacted them for me via email since we're based overseas and then when we signed the contract, she would just text him directly and he responds quickly.  It's best to reach him via email kasi his assistants are very responsive naman and it's peak season now so he's busy.

We decided to stick with our ceremony stylist to do the reception styling as well. Diko nagustuhan mock up ng caterer namin dahil walang nasunod sa peg ko. But so happy to settle with Anna Winstel. Di talaga siya nagmomock up pero nageffort siya to make me one Easily my favorite supplier

Happy for you sis maedonnas finally ok narin and nakapagfinalize ka na. Im still waiting pa for quotes. But for my peg i got different price from mid and highend difference of 25K so i dont know if im going to push thru kay high end. Even the carpet has a different charging and parang may di sila kayang gawin. When i asked my coordinator she told me to get the mid range nalang since they have worked so many times before so parang nakampante ako ng konti though this mid range is known to be always missing in action.

^ thanks sis lots-o, kahit pala sino piliin mo sis, win win,   sa case na missin in action na supplier, since your coordinator has worked with them many times before, then it's no longer a problem, unless you're the type na parang now and then gusto makipagcommunicate dahil may gusto kang imodify or idagdag. I'm that kind of person kasi kaya ayaw ko ng missing in action na supplier kahit pa na nadedeliver niya. Ako lang naman yon On the other hand, yung high end, alam natin maganda talaga gawa nila at a higher price to pay lang talaga. Makakapili ka din sis, minsan bigla bigla nalang alam mo na, na siya na gusto mo kuhanin at wala ng makakapagpabago.

hi sisses just want to vent out my frustration cause this stylist of ours cancelled again our meeting....this is the second time already! the first one he forgot daw that he had an out of town trip then I saw on his fb that he was in Balesin with two other high end stylists, then this time I saw that the three of them is in Bangkok. I just hate it when suppliers cancel meetings to think their price is not cheap.

For those working in budget i recommend my stylist Contemporary florals.

We really don't have budget for big names because our max budget is just 50k for
Reception styling. We didn't have any theme so i guess our ceiling budget is doable.
I just gave my stylist my color peg in fairness achieve naman.

What i love was he provided place cards,menu cards and even framed table numbers.

Btw, i got him a lot less than my orig budget!

Btw mood lighting really does affect the overall styling so dont scrimp of lighting if nag budget kana rin sa styling. some photos of from our photog doesnt have mood lighting pa so walang dating but when i saw guest photos with mood lighting ang laki ng difference.

^^I agree... mood lighting makes a big difference. BUT... be sure lang you maximize your setup. My stylist recommended 6 moving heads which cost 15k with the supplier. BUT to be honest I didn't see the effect so much during our wedding since I think the lighting technician didn't mind them so much.
