Tapos honeymoon pa diba, where's yours LilaFowler, we initially planned a Euro Trip kaso kulang na kami sa oras, imagine in a month, kasal, pre nup/STD shoot, and honeymoon. Halos 5 days lang kami sa honeymoon we have to go back sa work namin. So Maldives muna kami. Na hello, magastos din bongga!  ;D But again, this is a once in a lifetime event. Haha! Unless practice palang din namin to. Magastos na practice.

Di pa kami mag honeymoon after the wedding. Kasi I have to go back to work right after. Tax season kasi.

I'm thinking Japan pero H2B probably wants somewhere hot. So toss between Bora Bora or Maldives.

For the 100 guest nasa more than 1M na yung amin. Kaso Mixed of high to mid range suppliers. Baka aabot pa ng 1.1M. I would rather classy nalang na simple and elegant yung amin.

But we'll delay our honeymoon s December na so we  have xmas bonus na and then yung leave namin para ma-maximized.

Super bow down ako sa girls who can pull off a very simple but elegant wedding at the same time because, it's something I cannot do. Super naaattract ako sa mga magagandang bagay when it comes to this wedding and ends up spending more ;D ;D

^ Well I'm pretty sure na nag fail man tayo sa pagiging cost-conscious, I'm sure hindi tayo magkukulang sa love bilang asawa. charot! hahaha

-----

Naalala ko sabi nung wedding singer namin, our wedding was "Isa sa pinakasimple kasal yet sobrang sweet. Yung titigan nila ang isa't isa. Yung sweetness. Na ako ay nangilid ang luha. Sobrang sarap mainloveeee."

Mga ganung comments ang masarap marinig, hindi dahil maganda ang venue, or ang flowers, or ang gown.

sis simang batanguenia ka din ba? haha.
sa batangas po, 3 days before the wedding may patay baboy na non stop na ang tao.
may party the night before at may money dance na doon, meron pa din sa reception.

Oh well, ganyan sa probinsya at hindi man maganda sa paningin ng iba, masaya ang mga wedding parties doon! They don't invest on a 100k plus venue, at 1000 per plate catering service at 100k ulit sa styling. They spend the money on food, as in foooooood. umaapaw na food.  :)

hayhayhaaays. lately, i've been thinking of having a civil wedding first, before church wedding para less hassle at mas simpleng kasal. :) not that plan namin na bonggang church wedding pero i always imagine na ako, si h2b, parents namin, a couple of PS plus a handful of relatives and friends, solved na! :)

Yes sis batangenya ako :) Ikaw din ba? We got married in Lipa. I specifically requested na hindi na kami mag "sayawan" the night before ng wedding para hindi sobrang pagod sa wedding day. When we told my dad na 150 max lang ang guests namin, medyo nalungkot sya kasi bukod sa laki ng family sa side ng dad ko, social butterfly din sya so ang dami nyang friends na gustong invite especially bunso ako sa family. So what happened to us was my husband and I did our own thing sa wedding namin --- 150 guests, technically out of town since i'm not from Lipa, with family and few friends lang. Tapos my dad held another reception sa house namin for his guests, talagang hindi nagpapigil.

And true, festive talaga ang wedding sa probinsya. As in literal na parang fiesta. Reception can go on for unlimited hours, and syempre unlimited food din.

^ Yes sis, I am from Lipa! My parents are both from Batangas talaga so... Tradition, tradition, tradition.  :)

^from lipa ka pala sis.. i'm from Rosario naman, born and raised there. Nag money dance kami nung reception. Tapos may 'sabit' din for the principal sponsors (sobrang gastos nito nakakaloka, hahaha).

hi sissies. buti na lang nakita ko itong thread na ito. hubby and i were married (civil) already. we have a child na. but we want to be blessed sa simbahan. pwede ba yung walang entourage? wedding rites only? sa reception naman we are planning a thanksgiving meal for our guests. max na 70 guests.

^Hi Shawliin,

If you will just get the wedding rites and no mass, I believe that's free of charge for any church:) You just need to get a schedule:)

Sis Shawliin - try to inquire sa parish nearest your address.
Ang alam ko this is allowed naman pero witness/sponsors ata is required.
Sa ibang parishes - may Kasalang Parokya din.

Sis bollin_pop, I already inquired na. Next year pa naman namin plan,

Dream ko talaga magkaron ng simple, romantic and intimate wedding. Sa max namin na 100 pax, nadadamihan pa ko pero no choice kasi ang daming gustong imbitahin si H2B, well for courtesy lang naman karamihan kasi ininvite din sya before sa kasal nila. Plano ko wag na magpa-games since yung crowd naman namin karamihan nasa 30s to 70s na. Gusto ko mag-enjoy nalang sila sa food and music. Tipong laid back lang talaga. What do you think sa idea na to mga sis?

You're  correct almost lahat naman may phones.

The reason why we have photobooth kasi request lang ni Hubby and wala kaming souvenirs. I had to look for a supplier na super affordable rate and swak sa budget. 😉

It's up to you and H2B naman din. ;)
