Yes. You just have to choose a church or venue na di ka tatagain sa presyo. As for the other wedding items/details, you can go with cheaper items and DIYs.
Wanna share my wedding details on my sig below. But take note, province sya kaya nakamura din. Pero may tips ako sa lower part ng blog baka makatulong. Some of my wedding items are DIY and cheaper. Minsan kasi kung isang beses mo lang gagamitin, why spend too much (kung maa-out of budget ka naman). Ok lang yun sa mga willing to spend to much. Pero for a budget wedding, just be practical.

Piliin mo lang talaga guests na gusto mong present sa kasal nyo.

I have this friend who had a very simple but memorable and meaningful wedding last year. She lives in MCR but her fathers family hails from Batangas. Her church was in Batangas (sobrang probinsya lakas makatelenovela). Her bridal gown was owned by her mom or lola ata, she just had the fit adjusted. She didnt have any motif so her entourage members were free to wear whatever dress they want. I think only her mom and sisters had their gowns made but im not sure, it might not be new too. Medyo bumawi lang sila sa reception coz they had a lot of balikbayans. They had their reception at Aqua Verde. Most of their family members stayed their for 2 nights. I dont think the couple paid for that. Reception food was simple but yummy and filling. They didnt have any program and the couple just thanked everyone for coming. After dinner, we had a bonfire with chips, smores, and wine. The wine was a gift from their Tita who has a wine business in Canada. Everything was so simple with a bit of eccentricity but it really reflects the personality of the couple.

Thanks for the ideas sissies. I only have 50 guests and its going to be a church wedding and I am considering of doing th reception at a restaurant or a hotel. But the problem is Hotel is more expensive I guess.

thanks for this thread! medyo nagkakaidea ako kasi low budget lang din kami. buti na lang madami kaming friends na tutulungan kami sa preparations and may mga kilala sila na suppliers na pwede kami mabigyan ng discounts. plan ko rin magDIY sa bouquet para less gastos sa flowers. paper flowers na lang. then kahit na hindi bongga yung decor sa reception tutal malalanta din naman mga fresh flowers. ang importante naman eh yung ceremony.

Hi mga sis! I'm back! Mid of this year kami ikakasal. From 50 guests, 20 guests nalang including us. Actually 17 nga eh. Ayun same pa rin yung plan na sa Church pa rin pero with entourage na. Puro principal sponsors nga lang. Mga 4 pairs.. sila na rin yung secondary sponsors. Pupunta yung mommy ko sa Church para itanong kung pwede yun. Yung reception, tatawagin nalang namin na "Thanksgiving Lunch/Dinner" since literal na kakain lang naman kami sa restaurant. Sa mga nakagawa na ng ganito, pa-share naman ng experience nyo. Salamat!

Hi girls! Thanks for sharing your inputs and experiences here. After back-reading the two threads, sobrang naeexcite na ako for my future wedding. *hopefully*

I never knew na magugustuhan ko pala ang simple wedding. ideas palang ang nababasa ko nyan ah. what more pag naexcute na successfully. ang sarap siguro ng feeling ng simple yet elegant wedding celebrated with your loved ones.

Being the only child and since hindi din naman ako nagdebut (i celebrated a simple party when i turned 21. boy debut. hehe.), ever since gusto ko talaga ng magarbong wedding. before, never kong naisip na mahal yun at hindi practical. but as i mature and finally met THE ONE, now i just want us to get married.

Hopefully to have a civil wedding this year then church wedding 3Q next year or baka church wed nalang next year. Will start planning na. Goodluck sa atin!

Church - Adoration chapel (manila cathedral, malate church or the one at paco church)
Reception - Manila Area OK naman yung na eye namin kanila na venue and food may hotel acom pa.
P/V - Lurker, wala ako makitang nasa 15k below just to cover lang. no need naman of the magazine. we can print it naman sana lang makahanap ako haha
Cake & cupcakes - may baker nako hehe peg nalang ng cake na gusto namin for wedding
Wedding Gowns & all - Divi, Infinity dress sa secondary sponsors.
Invitations / souvenirs - Divi except for Sponsors
Bridal car - maghahanap pa.

Budget for more or less 70pax and all? - Php 80k all in haha

Madami pa kami need ayusin na requirements, hope we can pull everything off before Nov. Excited nako maging Legal Wife

Church-I think Malate Church offers free wedding. Di ko lang sure kasi tagal na nung sa friend ko, mga 2 years ago na, pero yun nga free yung wedding nila sa mismong church. Pangit lang yung mga bystanders sa labas ng church. Dami mga extra sa photos haha!

Reception-di ba included sa package yung cake at bridal car? I think City Garden Hotel has a package for that. Sila pinakamura nakita ko nung nagca-canvass pa lang kami.

P/V-madami sis, just tell them na service lang kailangan nyo. May kasama na yang full edited video. Wag ka na lang mag expect ng SDE and super nice HD video.

Question lang...do you think I still need to book a florist para sa flower arrangement sa simbahan? Sabi kasi sakin nung personel sa office ng Blessed John Paul II may kasamang basic flower arrangement na daw dun sa package. Inisip ko lang gaano kaya ka basic yung basic flower arrangement...

----> we have reception na actually, its a Hotel & Restaurant so package na yung nakuha ko except yung bridal & cake Okay naman sa City Garden Hotel kaso kase... feel ko talaga yung aura nung sa napili namin (will announce the venue/hotel after the wedding)

Hello we have the same church!  Ms. Mayeth, the secretary, showed me some pictures of their basic set up and I found it too simple so I got a separate florist to provide for flowers. However after a month, I saw some pictures of their basic set up from another bride, and okay naman pala! I dont know baka sa angles lang sa pictures. If I saw those pictures before, I wouldn't have gotten a separate florist pa. Another option I forgot to think of is it might be possible to upgrade their flower arrangement. I already booked the other florist so sayang I cant back out na. Wish I though of it sooner na lang. I believe the florist's name is Ms Elfa, ask JPII na lang if you want to upgrade your flowers:)
