All brokers have the same basic requirements because that is actually the requirement of SEC which regulates the approval of accounts. So whether COL, BPI Trade, First Metro, UTrade, ganun din requirements. Ang difference lang ay sa minimum amount to open an account and yung iba may maintaining.

when china sneezes, the whole world catches a flu.
pikit-mata lang akong nagco-cost averaging sa index funds. wala naman akong balak gawin sa money for 10 even 20 years, and i only invest a small amount of 10k to 20k a month. pero nakakaloka pa rin. hahaha! oh well.

Waiting with bated breath to top up my stocks. in particular, nangangati na akong mag top up ng AC. Hehe. But whew, very shaky pa yata, grabe yung fluctuations ng prices! For long term investment naman, but still.

Mga sis, tanong ko lang regrading COL index funds.

With the market going down, will it make sense to put 20,000 in sectioned 5,000 'lots'to buy index funds (ex. XPDEEV) over the next few months?

Or will it be better to put the 20,000 in one go?

And consider ko kasi is time -- ike, the earlier you get in, the better, sabi nila.
BUT -- paano ang cost-averaging sa bear market IF  iinvest mo naman sa index funds? Do you get more? Medyo malabo para sa akin so di ako makakita ng clear options.

^not an expert but I think it would be better if you put in sectioned lots, parang cost averaging . Seems like a roller coaster ride

daily trader here. do you think now is a good time to buy bdo stocks? kasi pansin ko bumaba ng 05 ang value ng bdo ngayon, tapos biglang tataas ng 98, then may araw din from 98 biglang magiging 102-104.

need your advice. medyo bago kasi ako sa trading eh. i am using col financial by the way.

I recently read somewhere that a wise investor doesn't put all his/her eggs in one basket. They diversify. Makes sense to me.

Good day mga sis, Just reloaded AC, ALI, FGEN at FPH grabe ang baba ng mga price ngaun  . Now I finally realize how to be a real Investor on a Red Market, I am glad that my Hubby introduce me to the world of Stock Market and coached me well.

What do you gals think of COL's newest COLing The Shots report? I'm happy to see that for once, my analysis matches with COL's. They think we are just at a rally that we can expect to peak at 7000-7400, and then we can expect a Wave C correction that can be deeper than the last dip at 6084. So in their opinion, right now is a good time to take profits and/or lighten on positions that you are heavy in.

Patience is the name of the game now. Timing is everything!

^mukhang spot on. i am buying a few shares here and there, plus index funds, but nothing too crazy. will build up cash reserves for the next dip. ikaw sis ikaela?

^Profit-taking a little, but these are stocks I bought for dividend play, so not selling a whole lot. Only just shaving a little off the top to use in business. Also have been cost-averaging in my mutual funds and UITFs, as usual. Good idea to start building cash reserves!
