^When did you sell DNL? Kakabigay lang ng stock dividends last Sep 17.

 right after they gave dividends.. di ko kabisado ang market. might  as well sell it na lang haha.. imo , stick ako sa safe companies haha

yung isang company we bought shares from, I was shocked when I saw almost double yung share price overnight! Yun pala may offer from another company to takeover... ayun, I sold all of our daughter's shares. Good timing too kasi we just got our dividends from them.

I'm testing with 1 stock and it was fun nung naggreen hehe but now puro pababa lang. How true na next year pa matapos ang pagbaba?

Hi sisses.
Okay ba bumili ng stocks ngayon? sorry hindi ako magaling bumasa ng charts. sa FB group, some posted "SALE SALE" ang stocks. 2 days ago, 6700 ang PSEI. so I deposited money to fund COL account. then today 6900+ na ang PSEI. sa Investment guide(dated Sept 23, 2015), Marami pang recommendation to BUY but when I opened Technical analysis(dated Sept 30, 2015), Puro HOLD/SELL / SELL INTO STRENGTH naman.
Planning to start Mutual fund (thru COL din) pero better ba na wag muna and keep my money?
Please share your insights mga sis. Thanks in advance

^currently volatile ang market natin moving Sideways which means it's not bullish nor bearish. one day tataas ang psei, the next day super bababa na naman. It's up to you if you want to save your money & start buying shares kapag nagstart na maging upward yung trend.
May mga stocks din naman na bullish pa rin kahit paiba iba ang trend like SMPH and BDO ( you might want to check your broker's stock picks). like ngayon, while psei is currently in downtrend, yung port ko is tumataas hehe my paper gain is not enough for me to pull out some funds but I'm happy with my chosen stock performances.
also, my advice is to check psei's performance just to get an overall market sentiment, but your portfolio's performance will still depend on your chosen stocks. hindi din porket upward trend si stock makikiride ka na. check the Buy Below Price and Fair Value to know the right timing.

Just started investing sa stock market via COL. I will take advantage habang mura pa sya.. I have URC, BDO and SMPH. So far, it's all green.

^ hi sis, I suggest search ka ng financial blogs about stock market. super helpful, sa ganon lang ako natuto, no personal mentoring.
In a nutshell, para kang nasa buy & sell business. You Buy Low and Sell High. Let's say you buy & sell real estate. Kahit na ikaw nagdedecide ng profit or tubo, you still seek the standard pricing or the prevailing price in the market. Example, a house & lot's prevailing price today in Pasig is 1m. So basically you want to buy a house at or less than 1m and be able to sell it in the future at either 1m or a little higher than 1m. However, in the future there'll also be certain factors that will affect your decision to sell it either much higher (big profit), or lower (palugi). Example, nagkaron ng grocery or sm mall near the vicinity, whcih means you can sell even double the original cost! pwede rin nabaha or lumubog yung subdivision which means nagkaron ng bad history so either sell it lower or at the original price. You can wait longer though para mas mataas sa 1m. In stocks, yan yung tinatawag na fundamentals that affect the pricing. When you buy a piece of a company (share/stocks) you have to look at the fundamentals and timing (when to buy and sell).

Thank you sis happynlove.  Nauubos ang oras ko ngayon sa pagbabasa at pag aaral.  I decided to open an account sa COL. Hopefully next week okay na I can't wait to start at medyo late na ko sa pag invest dito dahil inuna ko na ang house and lot saka sasakyan.

Sis I recommend smartpinoyinvestor.com. Explained dun how you get profits from capital appreciation and dividends. Maganda explanation niya,for newbies talaga. I opened my account in col last april lang pero January or Feb pa ko nagbasa basa about stocks para prepared talaga hehe

Mag IPO pala ang metro retail (gaisano malls in VisMin and manila).  Gusto ko sanang magpareserve pero wala pang buy option ang Col Financial..
