Kakastart ko palang.. Very addicting pala bumili ng bumili especially mabababa pa ang presyo. Anong nangyari kay URC? Bakit biglang bumagsak. Last few months, sya lang yung green sa portfolio ko, ngayon, naging pula na.. bili lang ng bili para di gaanong malaki ng loss..

I was about to start investing kaso i'm still in the process of studying stock market. I know it's kinda risking pero it's worth trying naman. Since sembreak namin i am really planning on studying about it pa. Nakita ko kasi panay gastos ako recently unlike dati na pabusiness business ako panay dating pera. Ngayon kasi since student ako i want to start investing na. Since magiging home based lang ako for the next few months mas madami akong time para tutukan ang stocks ngayon. Konting advise naman mga sisses, i'm back reading as much as i can para maenlighten. I really want to start to save up. I am not getting any younger na. Haha.

 Do i need to have broker for starters? Or can i start it by myself na?

By the way, may offer ang phoenix for preferred stocks - 7% pa for 3 years, 8% for 5 years. May nakapag-invest na ba sa inyo for preferred stocks? How's the experience in terms of annual dividends vs inflation?

haven't post in a long time super busy huhu diko na din matutukan stocks ko. majority pula hehe DNL, TEL, MARC. Kapit lang ang peg ko hehe kasi long term naman talaga siya, plan ko pag magdagdag pag may bonus hehe.

Btw, can anyone advice if Procter & Gamble (Tide,Downy, Pampers etc..) has stocks sa PSE? I tried to google a bit about it pero parang wala but maybe I'm searching it wrong. Thanks po

Hi! I'm just new with stock market. Ask lang po, when do I need to ask COL for stock certificate/s. Last Nov lang ako nag COL.

I haven't posted here in a while too, since getting out of the market earlier this year. Just left my long-term pooled funds, and have been cost-averaging since then.

I've only been buying TEL for dividend play. Also got San Miguel and Phoenix Petroleum preferred shares for regular income. Basically, my goal now is to cruise along. Chaka na mag-be-bet big kapag may catalyst na uli to pull things back up. Focus muna sa businesses.

Sorry newbie question, saan ba nakikita sa col website ang announcement na may dividend? Nakalimutan ko na yata, gusto ko kasi iplan bumili pag may dividend announcement.  Nabibigla na lang ako na may dividend ako dinamihan ko sana bili. Thank you.

sis ikaela, do you recommend continuous cost-averaging habang down and market? as in tloy-tuloy na bili ng small amounts ng pooled funds weekly or monthly? also if you don't mind, what pooled funds do you invest in?

Annie M., cost-averaging and value-averaging are always recommended for investments that are long-term (5 years or more). I buy either monthly or when the market is down at support, like it was today at ~6,750. The ones I have are Philequity Fund (my first and oldest), the Philequity Dividend Yield Fund, and the BPI Equity Index Fund (only because BPI is my main bank and it's convenient for me to invest with them).

NikkiV, open an account with COL Financial and attend their free seminar. That is the quickest way I know, if you are not too keen on self-learning and researching stuff on the internet.

^^sis NikkiV, i suggest you attend free seminars. Marami brokerage companies like Philstocks, COL Financial, UTrade (Unicapital), etc. I think lahat yan may fb page and they post updates on seminars there. It takes time to learn so better to get as much info as you can.

It says at least a Photocopy of one (1) valid government issued ID (Photo and signature must be clear) so this applies even for student. One valid ID would be enough.
