Does nobody read the research that COL very generously provides?

- Rallies (like the one now) should be viewed as opportunities to raise cash. Meaning get out while you can. This is the chance to sell higher instead of the lows a few days before.

- They think the good level to buy is at 6,500, but there's no guarantee that that's the bottom. Meaning they think we can still go as low as 6,500 and even lower. We have only hit 6,6xx.

Please, please, please analyze. Not every red day is a "sale". Professional market analysts are already laying it out for us, and all we have to do is listen.

COL's Technical Guide has been recommending SELL/ SELL INTO STRENGTH.
And yet I see posts in social media sites na "the stock market is on sale!" effect.

Though, COL's Investment Guide (last update is 8/19/2015) still reflects some BUY/HOLD ratings.

Depende kung investor/trader ka. Depende pa rin sa goals
Mahirap lang minsan, nag-iiba ang goals kapag nakakita na ng profits... or loss.

I'm taking advantage of this time to BUY.  I don't have a lot invested in stocks yet and I just started in June.  So I am averaging down my cost

As I am a long term investor, the market's current status is something I can be advantage of. Some of the stocks are on their Buy Below Prices, hence, people like to say the stocks are on sale. But of course, always buy with caution. Makiramdam, makibalita kumbaga.

Sa mga long term investors dito, how long it is when you say long? 1 year? 5 years? 20 years??

I try to keep mine for 10 years, not sure if it's good though. Pero kahit long term investing, nakakalungkot ang portfolio ko ngayon. 

Ako actually i put my accumulated savings there because I have nowhere else to put it (yet). Once i place it there i dont touch it na and forget about it. Maybe for at least 10-15 years. Kuha nalang ulit ng pang gastos sa current sweldo. Havent invested in a business yet but i plan to.

I'm thinking of buying more stocks from a bluechip telco company... right from the get go, long term investors naman kami. Now the shares have gone down, it's good to average down the costs, plus their dividends are fully franked $$$

What's up with DNL? One of the most resilient stocks in the market. Broken technicals na lahat, siya within trendline pa rin. Mabilis yan makakabalik sa 20. Pamana, retirement stock. Future URC.

DD, isa pang pamana stock. Huge growth potential in the coming years. Matagal matulog, but kapag gumalaw, sumisipa.
