Mga sis update lang ako na natuloy ang meeting ko with patricia santos at i must say na okay naman ang chemistry naming dalawa, nice siya at super pretty pala niya ha as in. And ang gowns na nakita ko sa office ay sobrang mukhang expensive at napakaclassy talaga. Gustong gusto ko ang sketch kaya lang papagusapan muna namin ni husband to be ang budget:) nagbook na din kasi kami ng photographer namin at kailangan muna pagusapan kung kaya pa ang ganda ganda talaga kasi a

good luck sis lippiequeen!! Nice talaga work ni Patricia. I think since may assistant na siya you wont have a difficult time communicating na with them. Dati kasi super hirap. Her quote before was 100k for almost fully beaded with swarovski, slim skirt =) But I heard nagtaas na siya.

sis liquidglaze and caleeice, for RTW i've checked out Rosa Clara in Greenbelt Residences, price range is 80-120k or so. My sister tried to fit at Mi Sueno in Makati before, ganda ng gowns pero nasa 90-100s din ang range. I've read about The One in Makati also, but I didn't go na kasi nasa 100-250k daw ang range ng US-made gowns nila. White Label Bridal in Makati has a more affordable range, nasa 50K+ yung kanila, although fewer options in terms of styles. Ivory and White in Katipunan is nasa 25-30k+ but when I went there were only two dresses left in my size (I wear a size , and they said they are waiting on a new shipment arriving in June pa. I also tried some of the gowns at Ivory and Lace in Landmark, Trinoma. sis khalee, bakit kaya 2 gowns lang ang allowed sa Landmark sa Makati? Weird, I was able to try 4 gowns sa Trinoma, alangan lang ako sa fit kasi I don't know how capable their modistas are in terms of alterations. This coming weekend hopefully I can check out Landmark in Glorietta, as well as Love,Myth in Greenbelt 5, I think that might be the area sa 2F. Mga Vania Romoff and Rosenthal Tee ang mga RTW dun, as per my online research.

futuremrsyoung if you are after froufrou skirt and emroidered bodice, i'd vote for Emil.. i personally met both Haydee and Emil na, though ok din naman si Haydee. Emil nga lang has been with the industry for many years and napansin ko na ok talaga embroidery nya and isa sya sa magagaling mag froufrou.. Hindi ko preference ang froufrou but he always gives justice to this type of skirt. Hope this helps.

Btw share ko lang.. nag taas na ng quote si Emil for entou. From 4k to 4.5k sa bridesmaids and 5k to 6k sa moms' Gowns.. i went there last saturday kasi nagpasukat na entou ko tapos yung quote na binibigay nya sakin were his new rates.. i corrected him na lang and sabi ko last year ko pa sya nibook, binago naman agad nya.. hehe ☺ bait si Emil, jolly and soft spoken nga.. sana maganda gowns ng entou ko, sa August pa first fitting nila.. ☺

sis futuremrsyoung emil was also on my short list. my peg is fully beaded top with frou frou skirt. yung mga ganitong gowns ni emil are really beautiful that's why i almost went with him. while we were discussing my gown, he really showed his expertise and made a lot of comment based on his past experiences. ang hindi ko lang nagustuhan sa kanya is parang hindi na siya nag effort to customize the gown for me. its like he has a default design na and didn't make any adjustments based on my body type even after i told him about the parts i didn't want to show. 

after him, i met mel orlina and sa kanya ko naramdaman yung feeling na my gown is really for me. we talked a lot about what i want and dont want for my gown and she put it all in drawing. by the end of our discussion, i was sold. you might want to check her out too sis. she's a bit over your budget but im sure you can work something out with her.

sis bzbee, pareho pala tayo.. i almost went for Emil. in the end mas satisfied ako na si Mel gagawa ng gown ko so I booked her ☺

futuremrsyoung if you want na someone na medyo matagal tagal na sa industry then go for Emil okay din sya kasi hindi din active sa pag post but looking at his portfolio naman his creation will give your money a justice and right sis juwie magaling si Emil sa mga frou frou gowns and into details din sya. Ako I already booked Haydee Garcia for my ento and so far so good naman she opted for powerknit /powernet fabric and showed me sample nung first meeting namin, she replies to my queries fast lalo na sa viber and if medyo budgeted ka and after sa beadworks/details/embroidery and all I would recommend Haydee. Plus factor na she's also very warm and super accomodating, we went to her shop thrice na and notice ko She have good relationship sa mga brides nya and gives her cake/sweets. So it's a good sign na nakikita kong masaya sila kay Haydee.. Can't wait for our gowns! Excited lang! Haha!

dont worry sis fluffyfluff, ganyan din feeling ko nung simula. after meeting several suppliers, masasanay ka rin. as much as possible, dont book them right then and there. give yourself time to think about it and also discuss it with your fiance - unless super sure ka na you're gonna book them and you're just meeting them for formality.

sis juwie! we also have this in common din pala i guess one more thing na nagpa-convince sakin with mel is her lovely studio, i know its mababaw pero pagdating ko palang dun kinilig na ko. i already pictured myself standing in front of her mirror wearing her gown. lol

^ang ganda kasi ng pagka position nung mirror nya na may platform sis, kasi to your right, andun agad yung sunlight.. labas kagad yung radiance. I remember when i went there, may mag fifit na bride na preggy. Paglabas nya ng fitting room talagang ang ganda ng gown nya napa wow kami ng mom ko.. and hindi halata na malaki tummy nya dun sa gown nya. Parang  normal lang na ball gown/empire cut.

Sis fluffyfluff, don't worry, i'm sure the suppliers don't actually expect you to book them on the spot. Malaking pera ang involved when booking so they will be considerate enough to allow potential clients to think it through.

^ganda ng mga designs din ni Paolo blanco though mga pang bridesmaids yung nakita ko dati. Tsk tsk, mahirap kapag ganyan ang attitude sis. Mas masarap magpunta dun sa kampante ka at mabait. Baka you can go to Roxy na kasi QC lang pala. Pwede na din tiyagain. I noticed na ang ganda ng mga gawa nya:) ako nga makati pa si von lazaro tapos im from QC din. Went to his office, nag waze lang ako. Sobra takot ko kasi di ako nagddrive sa makati talaga. Me too simple tulle gown lang din ako with lace and embroidery, very minimal beading ☺️

did you get power knit fabric for 3k? or added embellishment for a bit more? I am also thinking of getting Haydee to do the entourage.
1st choice was paolo blanco but since I heard nega feedback from an earlier post, decided to drop him
next choice is roxy but her office is super far! she's based close to the airport/ pasay city =( so I want other entourage gown designers

Sis papemelroti yup! Pero matinding tawaran nangyari haha! She quoted me 4k talaga kasi mas mahal powerknit compare to chiffon pero nag give in sya sa offer ko na 3k since she will do the whole entourage including sponsors/ninangs as well
As some of my friends' gown.. Try mo mag haggle madali naman sya kausap when it comes to pricing

Hi Sis, I'm actually going to Patricia later in the afternoon. Medyo natakot naman ako when I read na tumaas na rate nya. Kasi I've been eyeing her designs na. How much kaya quote nya sa gown mo and frou frou ba or lace, etc?

though may pagka-masikip kase yung daan at malapit sya sa public market kaya siguro may nag-feedback ng ganun.
pero for me, yung pakikitungo nya sa clients and the way she does her business more than makes up for the minor hassle of going to her shop.

Meow Lao Li, I'm not sure about the pegs, but at least two brides on this thread have posted about quotes from Patricia Santos. I think both were 100k and over, so I think she's generally quite expensive.

Hi sevenstars and lippiequeen, yeah, been to her shop na just yesterday and her gowns cost that much na nga. 

I'll be looking elsewhere muna. I'd like to have something like her look with the good quality and not that high naman. Is Mel Orlina, Jiji Cinco and Claiza Bihasa something to look out for na di ganun ka taas yung rate? Any idea?
