Jazel Sy quoted me 115k for a tulle skirt (non-frou frou). Medyo mahal sa kanya kasi di pa kasama sa initial yung veil tapos if you add beadwork may additional din kaya umabot 115k. Did not end up getting her.

Von naman quoted me 70k, mel 80k and boy kastner 80k also. my peg is froufrou with lots of beadwork. i ended up booking bridehouseph. haha! sobra ang tinalon ng prices from the 3 designers i mentioned. pero sobrang bait ni Ms. Carmen and halos same work with Von din naman. Plus, she's the mother of Von din. kaya ang mga pinapakita ko sakanyang pegs, mga works ni Von. hehe. Will go back to them this Sat para magpapalit ng design and then 1st fitting is scheduled on Aug

Is it true na may mga templates lang ng designs si von at dun ka lang mamimili? Parang may nabasa akong ganun dito sa GT. hindi ba pwdeng icustom ang design?

^im not sure sis. Kasi nung nagbigay siya ng quote di na ako nagarrange ng meeting with him. Haha. Budgeted kasi ang gown ko kasi sobrang mahal ng bili ni h2b sa engagement ring. Kaya ang hanap ko talaga sa gown ay affordable but quality i heard nga nagpapadiscount si Ms. Carmen to GTalkers e. I read it here somewhere. Bring up ko nga sakanya sa saturday pag visit ko sa atelier nila. Hehe

congrats sis. Von's gown din ang pinresent ko kay Ms.Carmen HAHA. Actually nung una, RTW nila bridehouse yung gusto ko. Pero nagbago isip ko and nagsearch2 pa ng ibang wedding gowns. Sakto lang na yung 1 gawa ni Von ang nagustuhan ko haha. Parang more affordable version lang hihi. Sana macchieve:)

Pwede naman sis na customize. Magdadala ka ng pegs, better, mag email ka then magrereply sila how much. bilis sila sumagot. Yes mas mura frou frou nya pero when i asked him about that, d daw nya tinatawag na frou frou, more on ruffled skirt daw. Iba kasi yata ang frou frou kaya din siguro iba itsura nung mga gawa nya. Softer and dreamy am i right, serpentine ba gusto ko? May new line sya, may serpentine na nakadisplay sa office nya, ang ganda ganda!!!! Napaka elegant and ang ganda ng lace sa skirt at hem ☺️ We cant take our eyes off it! And 65k daw. Gandang ganda kami kasi napaka classy nya.

Hi, just a suggestion for the brides not inclined in getting the beaded ballgowns/frou frou styles. I got Vania Romoff as my designer and she is readily adapted to the pegs I submitted. Very accommodating and her price very reasonable. I actually expected more than what she costed me. I'm having the first fitting with her on August so let you know on the updates.

Problem ko now is for the entourage gowns since hers is a bit expensive for me (15k.) Any suggestions?

hi mga sis, nakakatuwa basahin yung mga posts niyo... makikisingit nalang din dito sa thread. though wala pa laming exact date for the wedding, nag uumpisa na ko magtingin tingin ng mga dress. I plan kasi na hindi long gown ang gamitin (wala naman sigurong kaso iyon sa church?), yung mga tipong below the knee. Kasi gusto ko talaga simple lang, i don't plan to have an entourage din so sa damit ko lang at kay h2b ang iisipin namin.

Yung mga ganitong dress aabutin pa ng 15k and up? Nagtingin na din ako yung mga ready to wear, pero either maluwag ang sleeves, tapos masikip sa body and vice versa, kaya nag-iisip ako na magpatahi na lang, kaya i started collecting designs na gusto ko tapos ipapagaya ko nalang. Gusto ko sana try pumunta sa divisoria kung may okay na mananahi don, kaso nakakatakot yung mga stories na nababasa ko na hindi nadedeliver ng maayos yung damit. :/

yannuh and kisses, I inquired with Vania in late 2014 and pricing for modern/contemporary bridal gowns started at 80k. Although it sounds like her prices have increased, if she's quoting 15k for entourage dresses -- her bridesmaids gowns started at 9.5k last year.

Eto yung designers na natanungan ko for my gown, i inquired mga early 2015:

Roxy Bagano - very accommodating, though havent met her personally due to conflict scheds, thru FB PMs and texts lang kami nag-usap. She can make a simple tulle ball gown, minimum beadings and lace applique on top for 25k. Didnt get her kasi malayo location niya from my place, QC.

Mel Orlina - called their landline pero parang assistant lang yung nakausap ko, cant quote for me so I sent an email instead. She quoted me 56k minimum daw for my peg na simple tulle ball gown skirt with minimal beadings on top. I asked if we can work around with materials to fit to my 35k max budget, then NR na after. Haha.

Paolo Blanco - i inquired for his rate via FB message, he replied naman na 40k daw ang bridal gown, 4500 for bmaids, 6k for moms, 3k for FGs. When I asked if he offer any packages or discounts if i get several gowns, seenzoned na lang ako. Haha. I also asked if i can visit his shop and what's the best time to dropby, seenzoned din. So since malapit lang yung shop sa place ko nagpunta na lang ako. Nakausap ko siya and I was surprised he recognised my name, so ibig sabihin nabasa niya yung messages ko but just ignored me! So kapag low budget ka snubbed ka? Kainis lang. He can politely reply naman na, sorry for now we do not offer any discounts. Maiintindihan ko naman. But since nandun na ko i asked for a quotation na din. 35k ang quote nya for a simple ball gown with minimal lace applique and no beadings on top, simple layers of tulle skirt. Kukuha na sana ko sakanya kasi pasok sa budget and malapit sa place ko but super off ako sa attitude niya towards me. Also, im not sure if normal sa kanya na parang wala siyang ganang makipagusap or if masama lang pakiramdam niya. Nasusupladuhan ako sa kanya.

Kirk Soberano - i considered to get him since he's very near my place and he seems very polite and accommodating. He can make a tulle ballgown for me with minimal lace applique and beadings for 25k! but nung nagpunta ako sa shop niya hindi ko bet yung nakadisplay na gowns niya, hehe, medyo nag-alangan ako na baka hindi maganda kalabasan ng gown.

^ganda ng mga designs din ni Paolo blanco though mga pang bridesmaids yung nakita ko dati. Tsk tsk, mahirap kapag ganyan ang attitude sis. Mas masarap magpunta dun sa kampante ka at mabait. Baka you can go to Roxy na kasi QC lang pala. Pwede na din tiyagain. I noticed na ang ganda ng mga gawa nya:) ako nga makati pa si von lazaro tapos im from QC din. Went to his office, nag waze lang ako. Sobra takot ko kasi di ako nagddrive sa makati talaga. Me too simple tulle gown lang din ako with lace and embroidery, very minimal beading ☺️

I had my ceremony gown fitting yesterday with Manny Mondelo, and today naman reception gown fitting with E. Teng.. I can say na super happy ako sa outcome ng 2 gowns, my hubby loved the reception gown.. (Conservative kasi sya), di nya nakita the ceremony gown para surprise on the day. few adjustments na lang kasi i lost weight.

sis aj_qt18, roxy is really nice. i booked her not just for her pretty gowns, but also because of her good customer service and not-so-taga pricing. her shop is like 10mins away from mrt taft naman or i know she also does meet-ups pag available sya so maybe you can meet halfway for your first meeting muna. yung fittings mga 2-3 times lang din naman yun.
as for paolo blanco, alam ko before parang halos same rate lang sila nag-start ni roxy pero recently parang ang taas na nya maningil. may mga nababasa din ako na bad reviews sa kanya about timelines and output pero may mga good din naman.
for your budget, you can check out nino angeles din. not sure nga lang kung taga-san sya pero when i inquired with him, mga nasa 25k ang starting nya.

nice to hear about your gown fittings sis belle_v2g. talagang karir mode ka na talaga sa preps ah. both designers are very magaling and i'd love to see your gowns soon!

Hi sis f878! Ask ko lang if meron si roxy sample gowns na pwedeng ifit? Though nakapagtry na ko sa ivory and white, pero mas okay sana kung meron si roxy para malaman ko kung maganda yun hapit. Ill be meeting her tomorrow!

hi sis, not sure lang about sample gowns since most ng ginagawa nya is custom-made. i guess you can check kung ano mang gowns ang nasa shop nya to see her workmanship pero syempre since every bride has a different body type mas magiging maganda talaga ang hapit pag pinasadya based on your measurements.
i hope maging ok ang meeting mo with roxy.
