Me too waiting for MF. Sana talaga soon. Naka fill out nako ng forms sa PEMI. Pero sabi kapag sa PEMI ka nagopen dka na makakatop up using COL platform? How true?

Still waiting for the fund supermarket ng COL. kaka-open ko lang ng account sa PhilEquity nitong Jan 5 pero hindi ko iclo-close 'yun. Bibili rin ako PEMI MF units sa COL to compare yung pros and cons.

Sis PetiksPinayInvestor, an officemate of mine has stocks in COL. Sabi nya sa 5K daw, wala kang mabibiling magagandang companies. Like Jollibee daw, 25K ang need mo para makabili. any suggestions?

you can buy ali, ap, fgen or buy 20 shares of urc...you don't have to buy the stocks all at once... you can practice the cost averaging method, which is buying a specific stock regularly - for example, you buy 20 shares of urc every month as far as your 5k monthly investment will allow.

i just mailed my application to COL last wednesday, so they probably received it yesterday (thursday).

mga ilang days ba bago sila mag-approve? i am waiting for their call.

Just sharing my experience this week..I went to their office in Pasig last Tuesday, passed the application and paid the initial deposit..On the same day, I received my password through email then I started buying last Thursday..Dahil first timer, I tried buying based on minimum board hehe! then I was wondering why, hindi ako nag-gain despite na tumaas naman [textspeak!] price nung isang market na binili ko.. and then, i read here na dapat pala i should buy more para mabawi ko [textspeak!] hehe! now i know what to do..

at least, i have no regrets on my first week of investing in stock market!
