it's a good time to shop these days.. aside from the great singapore sale, SG50 din kase kaya andaming sale eveywhere! i'm sure your shoes are really nice!  anna nucci has lots of sparkly shoes, very fit for bridal events.  good choice that you bought the flats for the reception kase majority of their bridal collection are 5-inches! that would be tiring na if ever..

Ladies, how do you change from heels to flats? I am planning to wear 4 inch heels during the day but if my feet starts killing me, want to slip into my geox flats hahaha

but my trumpet style wedding gown has to cover the shoes right? would it look weird after I lose 2-3 inches in height?

Hahaha.. we have the same problem sis, but if all else fails, I will wear my favorite turquoise wedges ,i've walked miles in them, so i know i'm gòod. 😄 maybe you can try  soft wedges. As long as hindi makikita para yumg height discrepancy hindi halata 😃😃 problems ng short women

Sis before the actual reception starts, we will be eating ahead na sa aming guests. This is my time to change from heels to flats. 
Perhaps after your church wedding, ask your personal coordinator to bring your shoes sa car. So on the way sa reception, you can change shoes en route to reception.

^When you do your 2nd look in an area away from the guests, you can ask the venue to prepare your food ahead of time so you can eat a bit since the couple normally doesnt get to eat at the wedding

Yup sis! My caterer will allow us to eat before reception starts. Kasabay na ang second look, while ginagawa yung kay groom eh kakain ako, vice versa. The room is cozy pa nga, round table with sofa. . tee hee!.

Worry that it will be obvious when we have our first dance. My shoes are mostly flats talaga, the only heel I have right now with me (since i moved back abroad) are my work pumps that I don't even use for work hahaha

It has to be really comfortable wedges, kasi di ba, the reason that your changing your footwear is because your foot hurts. Yung friend ko naman, nagchange sya into slippers na elevated. Hindi naman halata kasi covered naman ng gown nya hehe

Sis yannuh, your coordinator can organise this for you. before our reception started, we are all in the bridal room of glass garden. Hubby was there, hmuas, my asst. coord, the host visited too, tapos p/v teams started editing narin. And lahat kami may kanya kanyang food na from k by cunanan. so we all ate even before the programme started.

^Since I bought a really affordable pair, I bought 2 --- one for wedding shoes, the other was "practice shoes". I wore the practice shoes everyday in the office hehe then I would sometimes walk my wedding shoes at night. In that way, the actual wedding shoes still looked new and unused during the wedding day. Haha!

i've already worn my wedding shoes twice - first, during our civil ceremony and second, during our prenup.

i highly recommend trying out your shoes and breaking them in before your wedding day, especially if these are high heels, so you can get used to them and you can get a feel of how long you can wear them. based on my experience, i may only be able to wear my shoes for 4 hours straight.
