Yung iba kasi magaling magsalita. Puro salita. We dont need flowery words. We need action. Puro satsat pero pagdating sa puwesto walang ginagawa. Kasi sa salita lang magaling.

^^^i have heard nga na in makati, pag nagtayo ka ng condo, before binay signs it dapat may isang unit sya doon. At ang daming lagay pa and takes a month daw to get the business permit.

In davao, when they built abreeza, when they submitted permits, 72hrs lang ok na yung permit. Before they opened the mall, they told the mayor about it and if may request pa yung government, (lagay, etc) and they were surprised nung ang sinabi lang ni duterte is iprioritize yung mga taga davao when they start hiring people. That's all he requested.

^ Yeah, I've heard/read about this somewhere on Facebook, among many other stories about how Duterte is this country's last bit of hope. Some true probably, some exaggerated; many, I'm sure are plain hoolabalooh.

Nakakalungkot yung ganito na kapag nag effort ka na i-engage yung isang tao sa matinong discussion ay magreresort sa name-calling. Tsk tsk. Pero seriously, if you'll be able to point me to a reliable source detailing how Duterte plans to achieve his plans, I would be more than happy to read through it and do a counter-check. Also, please. I'm not voting for Mar either. Most likely abstain ako sa President--a valid electoral option, a vote of no confidence.

Pwede mo naman sabihin na lang, katulad ng ayun nga, inamin mo din, lumabas din sa bibig mo that you don't see Duterte having any concrete plans in carrying out what he promised to do. And for his plans, it's out there. Nag effort ka na lang din, bakit di yun ang i-research mo. Or why not reach out to the candidate himself. You cannot convince us with your sarcasm if that's your "dark" plan here. We simply don't care if we lose your kind! You're one of these folks who simply cannot get it.

I cannot put my finger on it but may tawag sa style mo e. Pero ang sure ko ang, bulok na yang style mo. Who cares if you do not vote for D30 or anyone else.

Anyway! We can only confirm our biases so sige lang girl, go worship mo lang si Duterte. That kind of support is stirring, misinformed IMO, but stirring in a very odd way.

I'll speak as a businesswoman, di naman sa Messiah ang tingin namin kay Duterte kaso kung ikaw ang may negosyo na ilang milyon ang nawawala dahil sa red tape at walang kwentang mga buwaya sa gobyerbo, masisi mo ba kame na magwish na maranasan namin yung nagawa nya sa Davao?  Yung gobyerno na tutulungan ang mga negosyante na lumago ang negosyo.  Sa amin mga negosyante ngayon pakiramdam namin walang kwenta na mag negosyo dito kung same pa rin ang mangyayari after ng election. Alam namin hindi agad agad ang changes it will take time but at least someone is willing to change yung mali. Di naman exactly sinabi nya na kokopyahin nya lang ang plataporma ng iba. May sarili syang plan and he said he will also adopt yung mga maganda sa mga platform ng ibang candidates and improve it further. Di ba mas better naman Yun. Naiisip naman namin ang mga empleyado namin na mawawalan ng trabaho, but paano rin naman kame na mga may ari. Di naman pwede na di rin kame kumita. But if same scenario pa rin ang mangyayari, much better na dalhin namin sa ibang bansa na lang mga negosyo namin. Yung bansa na alam namin na iingatan kame as investors hindi yung tingin sa amin easy money due to extortion.

Btw I have been to Davao. I have friends who live there and some relatives also who have businesses there as well. They rather want to stay there than in Metro Manila. When you ask them why, they would tell you.. Kasi magulo. Honestly di nakakatakot maglakad dun sa gabi. And i tried their 911, gumagana talaga. And kahit sino dun natiticketan dahil sa overspeeding regardless mayaman, pulitiko ka or ordinary na mamayan ka. Naticketan kasi yung friend ko overspeeding (40 lang takbo nito ha) and knowing yung family nila is well known na mga negosyante dun. As for business, mabilis and efficient daw ang process dun. Unlike dito sa Manila dami daw lagay bago marelease mga papers. Anyways like what I said, gusto ko maranasan dito yung kagaya ng sa Davao.

Wow! One of the things that I really hate in GT is when people react so negatively to someone's post that they respond like they're going to a fight or something. You can just imagine them shaking their fingers in your face, bitchy expressions on.

Can we please be adults, like we're supposed to, here? This started off as a very nice thread. There's a HEALTHY discussion despite the differences of opinion. There's no need to react harshly towards another person's post when their post is refined and civilized naman to begin with. And no need for calling anyone bobo, everyone has a reason behind their choices.

I for one, have decided for Duterte. We need change and we needed it 10 years ago. Si Mar at Binay, please...no. Poe, super neophyte. Very ambitious to aim for the highest position in the land. From MTRCB Chair to Senator agad, and now as President? I would love a Duterte-Miriam tandem, sadly it's not possible.

anyway, I will vote for duterte kasi siya yung may consistent na advocacy. Tama naman sinabi niya. Ayaw niya na matakot tayong mamuhay o kahit maglakad mag isa sa sarili nating bayan. At ayaw niya ng utang na loob, kaya makikita niyo ang volunteerism sa mga tao na gusto siyang manalo. Hindi puro pera pinapagana. Hindi ako naniniwala na wipe out ang prob sa criminality in 6 months pero alam kong malaki improvement within that time period basta ba walang kokontra, o maaayos niya ang kokontra.

regarding him killing criminals, na maliliit lang nagaganun niya, may nabasa ako na maaaring nung tinanong siya sa debate kung sino sino, hindi lang nasagot dahil bawal ang name dropping don. and also, let's stick to the fact na nasa local govt level pa lang sya non. kung hindi man ganun kalalaki ang napatay niya, naaayon naman sa level ng ginogovern niya. i dont think nasa davao ang mga druglords kaya paano niya magagawan ng paraan para sumugpo ng "bigating" criminal?

sa last debate, ideny niyo man o hindi, siya ang pinakamaayos. biruin niyo, hindi napikon? kapag kelangan, umaayos siya. tulad nung nagkaprob sa pagsunod sa rules si binay, narinig niyo ba mga sinabi ni duterte? habang si poe at roxas ay salita ng salita sa mic ng kung ano ano about binay's issue, si duterte ang nagsalita lamang ng tunay na issue na inaalala niya. siya lang din nagsuggest ng maayos. Yan ang hirap sa anti duterte. marami sa kanila, extreme magsalita at elitista. na barumbado agad si duterte 100%.

I respect voters who will not vote for Duterte that is the reason why there are 4 other candidates to chose from, pero I would like to ask respect also for voters to respect our decision to vote for Duterte, I was born and raised from Davao and that is not even the reason I want Duterte to win, but because I just want change. It's been almost 6years and I miss the sense of true leadership and accountability.

I want to post this article read from kicker daily website, this is maybe how and why Duterte is very sure he can eradicate criminality and corruption for 3-6 months because he already know how early even before he ran for the president position.

MANILA, Philippines – Many people including his rivals dismisses Mayor Duterte’s promise to eradicate the rampant criminality and drug problem in the country as simply nothing but ‘big words’ coming from someone who is running for a national post in the coming election.


 
In many of his interviews and campaign rallies, Duterte has been consistent in saying he will put his life and honor at stake just to ensure a crime-free Philippines.

The tough-talking mayor even went to the extent of vowing to quit – if he is elected President – his post if he failed to fulfill his promise within 6 months of his presidency.

But former After Image frontman Wency Cornejo believes Duterte didn’t just make bold pronouncement, but is actually one step ahead of his rivals – the reason why he is so confident in his declaration.

Cornejo, a Davao City resident, explained this in a Facebook post. He wrote:


 
“Someone in my family told me over lunch that #DUTERTE can say grandiose pronouncements such as “I will eradicate corruption in 3-6 months” because as early as now, he has probably already done the job of researching and finding out who and what to weed out in the government once he is already president. Take a guess sino nagsabi nyan [who said that].”

Cornejo suggested Duterte actually has a carefully-laid out plan to identify those he thinks need to be prosecuted immediately after assuming post in Malacañang long before he is elected.

Many commenters agreed with Cornejo’s assumption.

“In Duterte we Trust. He won’t declare such a thing if he hasn’t done his research and a plan in place. He’s probably been planting people/allies all over the country in the decades that he’s been in politics,” one said.

“Duterte is obviously a political genius as per statements of experts in politics … He is a 100 steps ahead of his opponents … that’s how clever our Mayor Duterte is,” added another.

As to where Cornejo probably got this information, netizens were unanimous in suggesting the source could be no less than Mel Tiangco, Cornejo’s mother who is a popular journalist and broadcaster.
