^ sis magparehistro ka nalang just in case.

Anyways, I just read this from the news.."With the sole desire to rid the country of corruption, crime and illegal drugs, a group of businessmen has pledged P1 billion to fund the presidential campaign of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte."

This is good news..at ang sinabi ni Duterte

“I am asking for a little for more time, so I can do some final soul-searching with myself and my family,” Duterte said in a text message read by former Armed Forces chief Hermogenes Esperon to thousands gathered at Quirino Grandstand last Saturday to push Duterte to run for president.

“And after that little more time, I am going to face the nation again and I will face all of you and I will decide with all my heart and my mind and I promise you, I will never leave you.

Again, folks. He will run..hehe..Let's think positive. Again as I've mentioned from my previous post, He's a type na sigurista at matalino..Palaging nasa huli yan mag aanounce ng candidacy niya ano pa kaya ang presidential position.

^ Ah ok so yan pala ang solution... ;D

This is Duterte's stance, he vows to end communist insurgency an Article from Manny Pinol:

Duterte made the statement in response to questions from newsmen who covered the Federalism Forum in Butuan City today, the first leg of the "Listening Tour" which will bring him and his team to several key cities of the country over the next two months.

"We cannot continue killing each other. We are all Filipinos," Duterte said adding that he was willing to talk with National Democratic Front head Jose Maria Sison who he said was his former college professor.

Reacting to criticisms to his stand to bring in the NPAs to work with government, especially in agencies involved in social services, Duterte asked "Why? Do they have better ideas in ending this insurgency?"

Duterte said the armed campaign by the government against the NPAs over the last 40 years has not neutralized the Communist movement in the countryside.

In an earlier statement, Duterte said that "If I would become President," he would be willing to work with the Left provided that they will all give up their arms and renounce violence as a means to achieve change in society.

"I am willing to allow them to handle agencies of government involved in social services and pro-poor programs. But they have to come down and give up the rebellion," he said.
Duterte said the strategy is expected to identify the real "rebels with a cause" from the plain extortionists who have been demanding money from businessmen and farmers in the countryside.

Those who will refuse to give up their arms after the group has been accommodated by government will be pursued relentlessly and neutralized, Duterte said.

"We will have a fresh start. We should stop killing each other for after all, we are all Filipinos," he said.

I think this is a sound solution.

hmmm..what makes them different from the criminals sis? serial rapist and killers? death penalty pag mga kriminal tapos sa mga rebelde(BIFF, MILF, MNLF, Abu Sayaff) "We will have a fresh start. We should stop killing each other for after all, we are all Filipinos," and worst revolutionary tax..not to mention yan, baka dag dagan pa ng philhealth o kung anik anik pa.

this doesn't seem to be fair. no sense at all.

Makes sense to me, for a change wag puro bala at pulbura ang pairalin kundi real peace talks talaga. He said na man na the strategy is expected to identify the real "rebels with a cause" from the plain extortionists who have been demanding money from businessmen and farmers in the countryside. Those who will refuse to give up their arms after the group has been accommodated by government will be pursued relentlessly and neutralize

LOL! I like your sense of humor sis..Yan ang joke ngayon ng mga militar..baboy nalang daw gawin nilang bala..

Sana he'll be one of the few na gusto tugisin yang mga rebelde na yan, salot sila sa lipunan. Ang dami na nilang pinatay na tao.

^ sis myleskie ganito kasi yan.

If he's really sweet with the terrorist groups why would he say this?

Duterte called for the MNLF commanders in the city warning them, “If anything happens to that pastor, I will capture 3 of your imams.” (as retold to me later). Within 24 hours, I was released.

What I meant to say is yung plataporma, platform of a PRESIDENTIABLES. That DEATH PENALTY and REBELS issue e nililink sa kanya kasi nga gusto nang tao tatakbo siya as president.

I don't think you're on a right page sis..Eto lang naman e kung MAGIGING PRESIDENTE siya..since bet naman natin siya di ba?

As you quote nga sa sinabi niya di ba Duterte called for the MNLF commanders in the city warning them, “If anything happens to that pastor, I will capture 3 of your imams.” e kaya naman pala niya MAYOR pa lang siya. Ganito nalang,  local government issue to or national governement issue?

Stop quoting and lecturing people if di mo naman sure ang ibig sabihin ng tao.

Anyways, Thanks for educating sis.

^ Oh come on this is just my personal opinion.  I'm sorry if that's how I come across to you or to anyone else here. I don't intend to put you down. Take my posts as it is, no hidden meaning there. I'm not lecturing anyone here, if that's how you see it. That's just an opinion sis don't take it the wrong way. This is a forum, hindi naman every time we agree with each other. Again, I'm sorry.

On a lighter note...

A glimpse inside mayor Duterte's house. :)

Ouch! ;D.

Anyway, let me share the recent news lang about Duterte. This is what Duterte told reporters
“I’m telling you, I’m not running. But if I change my mind, [I’ll make my declaration] here. I started here and I’ll finish here,” Duterte said, repeating for reporters his statement to Cayetano.

He had a dinner with Sen. Cayetano. Mga sis, There's HOPE..I know he'll run.

Sharing this link. Pa good vibes naman.

http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/726502/i-am-not-running-but-if-i-change-my-mind-i-will-do-it-duterte

Hmm..sori but i don't like Cayetano, parang puro satsat just like Escudero din, but I would rather choose him than his opponents

^No hurt feelings, that's her perspective.  ;)

I'm still ambivalent with Cayetano as Duterte's VP (if ever it will come to fruition) as well. But I like his stand on Senate's deliberation on BBL. I'm more inclined on choosing BBM if ever he will run as VP but the 'marcos' stigma is still ringing bell to many. Just my opinion of course.

IMO, we can not just compare street criminals with organized rebels groups. They have different root causes, thus, the Mayor deems to have a different approach with the rebel groups. Let's say, gusto nya I-death penalty itong mga rebelde. We are talking about thousands of people here. And paano ba natin idedeath penalty itong mga ito eh kung nakatago sila sa bundok or gubat diba. Eh di all out war na ang mangyayari nyan. In cases like these, I think it is better to thread lightly. Only Erap tried an all out war, and while Erap thinks it was one of his glorious moves. it delayed the peace process. Opinion ko lang naman to.

This is what I like about Duterte, he knows when to fight and when to talk. As far as my watching and reading the news about him is concerned, parang wala pa syang Fail moment for me. But that is just me because I can forgive all the profanities he displays. Hehe

Why is Duterte associating himself with Cayetano? Anti-corruption kuno si Cayetano pero ang laki rin nang nakuha from the DAP funds, and he was in 3 of the Napoles lists. Naumay ako ng bahagya at biglang nagdoubt. Hayy.

^^ I agree. Erap called for an all out war, yes nawalan ng panggil ang mga rebel groups noon pero after Erap's term mas lalo lang lumala ngayon pinasukan na ng ibang terrorist groups. It's either kill them all (wag magtira ni isa, kasi pag magtitira ka ng isa dyan mas lalong aalsa yan) or thread lightly. I think Duterte knows what he's doing and he knows the root cause. But that's just my opinion.

^ pinagaagawan ata siya ng mga VPs sis, Cayetano vows to support Duterte to change the form of government. There's no official statement pa naman. I would vote for BBM as vp at president si Duterte. I think mas gusto ata ng karamihan si BBM for Duterte, isang solid south at isang solid north. :D

Sinong BBM sis? BongBong Marcos? same here..I remembered Cayetano on how he defended himself from that Christmas Bonus sa senado..Pumutak lang ata kasi 500,000 lang sa kanya tapos yung ibang milyones..Dapat sana binalik niya ang bonus kasi kahit 500,000 pesos lang sa kanya, ang laki na niya and he should know na mali yon..

Based sa nakikita ko everyday sa networking sites, lahat is rooting for him.
