Hehe. Nakabook na ko ng flowers for the entourage and church. Maganda kasi offer ni ClintCarl sa bridal fair kanina tsaka around same price lang din kasi yung mga napagtanungan ko. Nagkatalo lang talaga sa freebie. Nauna ko pa nabook ang flowers kesa sa caterer! Hahaha. Kailangan kasi yun pag-isipan ng husto.

Anyway, sis Krecy, wag ka matakot sa negative reviews. Actually may negative reviews din yung florist ko, pero hinayaan ko na lang kasi yung feedback naman ng kakilala ko na kakakasal lang this February is okay naman eh pareho lang kami nun na di naman masyado particular sa flowers. Nagtanong din kami sa FOM kanina sa bridal fair kaya lang parang mas okay yung offer sa amin sa ClintCarl eh. Just remember that suppliers are also humans and they can't please everybody. ;-) Fret not!

Sis balitaan mo ko pag nag FT fiance mo kasi Juan Carlo kinuha namin kaso pricy nga lang cya pero yung styling na included na kasama sa package namin is upgraded na kaya maganda hindi yung simple lang and marami din kami nakuha na freebies.

For hotel preps sis nagtingin ka na din? Do you know how much discount sa mga hotels partner ng Palazzo Verde?
Parang kasi naghahanap ko ng ibang hotel or resort for wedding preps para maiba naman kaso di ko alam if mahirap ba kung hindi around Alabang mismo kami kumuha ng hotel.


Overseas bride din ako kaya hirap lalo na sa mga precana and church requirements na need.. buti pa si fiance mo nasa Pinas na talaga

I'm also part of 2016 brides-to-be thread, since Jan.2017 bride ako and most of the month/period of preparation is on year 2016 heheh.. Good to now na may thread na for 2017. So far before 2015 year end, I booked the ceremony/reception venue, nabasa ko din kasi na madami nagpapakasal between the month of Nov.-Jan. so need to locked suppliers/venue for my wedding day. I also booked make-up artist nadin, so far yun palang, other things wala pa heheh.. Happy preps 2017 brides

hello! Im also a newbie! I've been backreading this thread from the very start since yesterday and kinabahan ako na ang dami ng nabook ng 2017 Brides. I thought it's too early for us to start pero feel ko tuloy late na kami. We haven't booked anything yet pero we have prospects na. The only thing I'm sure of is we will have our wedding at The Mango Farm in Antipolo pero we will get back to them over the weekend. I was supposed to book Imbitado Events yesterday but I learned she is already booked on our chosen date. Kaya lalong nakadagdag sa panic. Haha! We want our wedding to be on December 16, 2017. But I guess we will have it moved on the 17th if available pa lahat nung iniisip namin na suppliers.

Hi, Ladies! Newbie bride to be here. No date and nothing booked yet for our 2017 wedding, this thread is a life saver! Our target (low to mid budget) wedding date is March or April 2017 and guest within 100-150.

Having read about the posts of the 2017 "bridemates", nag worry ako nang slight dahil a number of them already have booked their suppliers as early as now.  Medyo panic mode on ang lola niyo. haha!

So far, I've read a lot of wedding articles, bridal blogs and discussion threads. Outside of that, made it a hobby to browse Pinterest and also attended the wedding expo last weekend. At the moment, I have (loong) list of potential suppliers (major and minor included) and in the process shortlisting based on reviews, recommendations and cost.

In parallel with the shortlisting, I hope to reserve our ceremony (church) venue soon. Ano ba ang low-mid range rates ng air conditioned church in Metro Manila? Less than 20K budget sana in either Pasig, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Makati, or south area.

March 9, 2017 sis. balitaan kita by may pa kasi siya makakapag FT. Overseas kami preho kaya lang siya lang yung mas kayang magpabalik balik sa pinas. Oo nga pricy si juan carlo, nakapag inquire din ako sa kanila. Okay lang naman sana as long as masarap ang food. By may pa din kami magbobook ng hotel most probably bellevue na kasi yun din yung suggestion ng photog namin. Hindi ata ganun ka laki yung discount, ask ko AE ko kung how much ang discount. Kami din hirap sa mga requirements lalo sa mga seminar kaya no choice ako by december dapat nasa pinas na ako para sa marriage license.

Hindi pa sis, pero natanong ko na yung about sa date ng wedding ko available naman sila. Nakapag send na rin siya sakin ng  contract hindi palang talaga kami nakaka pirma kasi parehong busy kami. Pero bukas na bukas din papaalala ko kay h2b. Peak season kasi wedding mo sis baka kaya siguro hindi na siya available.

Hi everyone! Hopeful 2017 Bride here! 

I'm not engaged yet but pumunta na kami ni *future* H2B sa wedding fair in megamall last Saturday to get my ring size! So ngayon it's a loooong wait for his proposal! 

Wala pang anything booked but super helpful talaga ng lahat ng threads dito. Tyagaan nga lang talaga sa pag-backread! Naka-list na din sakin lahat pa ng upcoming bridal fairs so tumitingin and nagsho-shortlist na din ako ng mga suppliers na mukhang okay, then naghahanap ako ng reviews dito and sa mga blogs.

So far, ito yung plans namin for our Christian wedding...

Golf Course Ceremony - ito talaga yung nae-envision kong ceremony! Kaso gusto ko sana within Metro Manila lang. Ang prob is yung mga golf and country clubs usually kelangan ng sponsorship ng isang member  . One is Manila Polo Club kaso need nga ng sponsor and may inhouse caterer ata sila. Yung iba magi-inquire pa lang ako - Wack Wack, Capitol Hills. Then sa clubhouse/function halls na lang nila yung reception.

Other choice is Eastridge Golf Club in Binangonan Rizal. Nag-inquire na ko (50k hall + 25k golf course) BUT during Mondays lang  Ayoko naman ng Monday na wedding! Weekend lang talaga. I'll try to inquire pa ulit and do an ocular next time at baka naman pwedeng payagan ang weekend.

Phil Army/Navy Golf Course or Camp Aguinaldo or Villamor - I think kelangan din ng someone from the army to sponsor para makagamit. May nababasa din ako about Ricarte Hall in Philippine Navy kaso wala akong makitang ibang pictures and reviews so Im not sure. And most importantly, i-allow kaya ang ceremony sa golf course?

Anyway, sana merong maka-help sakin sa dream golf course ceremony ko. Puro garden wedding lang kase ang nakikita ko dito. But if mahirap talaga, open naman ako for garden wedding. I'm considering Mango Farm and Light of Love. Hopefully madami pa akong makitang ibang options!

Hello!

Nag-food tasting kami last weekend with Juan Carlo the Caterer dun sa bridal fair sa Megamall. Masarap yung food as expected. I especially liked the Creamy Pumpkin Soup with Truffle Oil. It's much better than the Clam Chowder. Sa beef naman, okay yung Beef Kalderetang Batangas. Fish, the Pangasius Fillet with Tequila Cream Sauce is good especially kung mahilig ka sa cream-based viands. Sa Pork, naweirduhan ako sa lasa ng Pork Geneva Style kasi may banana (saging na saba). Chicken, wala akong nagustuhan sa pinatikim sa amin (Diced Chicke with Cashew Nuts, Chicken Cordon Blue) kasi they're so-so lang. Veggies, surprisingly winner yung bouquet of green vegetables in creamy white sauce. The other one, stir-fried mixed veggies is, as my fiance put it, parang pinasosyal na chopsuey. Sa pasta, better yung pasta Anchovy with Longganisa Royale. The Pasta Aglio Olio was  bland for me. Sa dessert naman, favorite daw ng marami yung coffee magnifico but hindi kasi ako fan ng coffee-based desserts. Medyo matigas yung rocky road brownies but the mango cheesecake and parisian fruit tartlets were okay. Better yung cheesecake for me.

Ang dami nilang inoffer sa aming freebies even yung mga food na nagustuhan ko pero hindi kasama sa choices, libre na yung upgrade except yung Beef Kaldereta at Coffee Magnifico. Di na raw kaya ilibre yun. Sayang nga lang kasi they're way out of budget na talaga. Sa computation namin magiging 1,400 per head kami with their cheapest package though kasama na doon yung corkage fee namin sa venue since non-accredited sila.

hello sissies! can you recommend an affordable couturier? i dont want to splurge on the gown talaga for our wedding kahit na ang daming tumututol sa akin especially my mom! haha! i mean i know that this is a once in a lifetime experience pero nanghihinayang ako na ONCE ko lang din sha isusuot at mahal ang babayaran namin for this. haha! i saw one thread here sa gtalk na "Princess Kisha Boutique Mente". they gave me a quote pero im really scared kasi sa divisoria sila eh. magaganda naman ang feedback sa kanya pero natatakot pa din ako.  hahaha! anyways, mas gusto kasi namin iprioritize ang venue and yung caterer and styling than the cothes that we will wear pero shempre yung maayos naman sa paningin. haha!

^sis gwenpiz - magpapagawa ka ba talaga sis ng gown mo? mas affordable ang mga ready to wear gowns, try mo ivory&lace, white label, kpag paggawa naman try mo bridehouse and mark brides.

HI sisses galing pala ako sa ocular last week sa punta fuego! I think there is another Punta Fuego bride here??

Anyway I loved the place pero hindi parin ako sold kasi mabagal sumagot yung AE. as in a week ganon. although maayos naman akong inasikaso nung assistant niya. may mga ganyan ba kayong suppliers? ka stress.

btw any one else having a beach/garden wedding here? foreigner kasi si h2b kaya civil lang kami, to be officiated by a solemnizing officer.
