I agree with our sisses here. Give them a try. You still have enough time for food tasting with those three accredited caterers. Also, be masipag lang in researching feedbacks about them. That will really helps.

Question stars01, hindi ba kaya kung kunin mo one of those caterers then maybe hire a low to mid stylist to add a little more styling to your set up?

@stars01 congrats sis! same tyo ng problem, 3 caterers lang din accredited ng venue and madami corkage. But we will still go for it because we like the venue talaga. Then now, hanap kame ng mga low-mid range stylist and other suppliers para pasok pa din sa budget. Search search ka pa sis and medyo lambingin mo yung caterer mo na i-free na yung ibang corkage like s wines / drinks or maybe 1 dish (if ever plan nyo magdala)  kaya mo yan sis! go go go!

^ sis stars01 i agree sis simple lang ang styling ng evelyn's catering.. you can try to hire a stylist or make some DIY's sa pinterst ang daming magagandang ideas  akong nakukuha. btw, The south din ako sis

^ Thanks everyone for the encouragement! I already sent an email to all three of them. Sadly wala pang nagrereply. Nagsend na rin ako ng inquiry sa ibang mga nakita kong affordable caterers. Regarding the styling, wala akong makitang mura. Wala kasi siya sa budget ko so anyone quoting me 30K above eh mahal na para sa akin kasi di ko talaga siya sinama. Huhu. May masusuggest ba kayo?

^ sis, @stars01 ako sis ginawa ko nagsearch ako for ideas on the net (pinterest) based on our theme and motif. Tapos sa florist na lang ako nagpaquote. I will be having less flowers kase and then candles lang for my table centerpieces and loose petals para tipid na din pero maganda ang effect.

sis stars01, same tayo. we are also into a budget wedding. Isa sa mga problems ko yung styling ng caterer ko kasi medyo off sila mag-style. Pero wala kaming plans to get a stylist, masyadong mahal eh! Kuripot kaya ako. Hahaha!
We are planning to get flowers sa di ganun kakilalang florist, pero yung standard package lang ang kukunin namin siguro. That would cost us 7-10k lang. Nakausap namin sila and they are willing to lend us their vases, depende kung anong theme/motif namin and depende rin sa choice ko. With that, may additional centerpiece na kami! Plan din namin mag-add ng mason jars, tea lights & loose petals. I think that would be enough and also, that will not slash off our budget.

Another thing, stylist is only an option. Kung keri naman ng mapipiling caterer mo i-pull off yung theme na gusto mo, why not go for them? Be very specific lang and make sure to ask for actual photos of their already styled events. Pag keri naman nila, edi tipid kana, hindi mo na iisipin ang styling.

^ yun na nga mga sis, simple na lang din yung gusto namin ng fiance ko. for one, ayaw niya kasi talaga ng sobra-sobrang styling. ako naman, okay na ako sa simple lang basta hindi lang mukhang 19-kopong-kopong ako kinasal. hehe. nagchcheck out na nga rin ako sa pinterest ngayon ng mga decors and ideas. dadalhin ko kapag nagcheck out kami ng caterers
