@rouged.ramen   you might also want to try Le Jardin in the W building, BGC. It's a beautiful french restaurant. I can't comment re. the food (as I've only had wine and dessert there), but the interiors are really nice and spacious.
Blackbird in Makati is also beautiful. Food is a bit pricey, though.

^sis mommynihailey start with the date of your wedding, what church and reception venue. From there everything follows. Iyan kasi ang unang tinatanong ng mga wedding suppliers. Mas maganda as early as today para ma-price lock mo ang mga wedding suppliers mo. Iyong ibang sissies natin dito nakapag-booked na sila ng mga major suppliers nila, back read ka lang sis. November 2017 ang wedding namin and nabook na namin yung major suppliers. lie low muna kami sa pagbook ang sa november 2016 na ulit kami magbook. hehe.

Mas maganda magbook early kasi ma-pprice lock mo yung ibang suppliers. And makakapagscout ka talaga ng mga suppliers na okay. Happy Preps!

Para sa mga sis na feeling nila matagal pa ang wedding nila, oks lang yan. Earlier the better.
There are so many perks of preparing for your wedding early.

1. You have soooo many time to scout for suppliers.
2. There is such thing as "early booking" -- meaning some suppliers might give you freebies or discounts when you booked them very ahead of time.
3. Blocking the dates of your chosen supplier is not a problem (unless there is someone na mas early pang nag-book kesa sayo)
4. My favorite thing, PRICE LOCKS -- yes, you will be saved from drastic increase ng rates ng mga prospect suppliers mo.

Don't be shy na mag-inquire if feeling mo super tagal pa ng wedding date nyo, most of the suppliers understand that.

As for me, my wedding is on January 2017 pa, but most of our major suppliers were booked as early as 1st quarter of 2015.

Hi sis, 2017 bride here. I just want to share my experience with a supplier. I booked my photographer, Toto Villaruel, last Dec 10 and they sent the signed contract along with acknowledgement receipt a week later. I booked really early to get lower rates, sayang din kasi un difference magamit pa for other expenses. All is going well until I received an email from them on Jan 29 saying that another couple already booked them. Sobrang shocked ako kasi more than a month na since naka pag down ako. What's worse is that Toto did not apologize personally, puro assitant lang. I even texted him but was just seen-zoned. They offered "free" prenup naman but only if I book Toto's wife. I didn't get her though since her style is really not for us and it would be awkward working with her knowing that I'm very dissatisfied with how Toto handled the issue.

My intention to post here is just to warn other brides. This is not the first time na ngyari kasi to sa kanila and they admitted it. It's very sad to hear that other brides are also experiencing this. Especially since I know that it takes a lot of time checking each potential suppliers and reviewing their works.

^grabe naman yan sis, first come first served sana ang basis nila. Pero if ever na ikaw ang piliin baka hndi na maging smooth or awkward na kayo with each other.

Updates! Updates! Making progress here! Reserved the church for the wedding on January 7, 2017. As expected, taken na yung both afternoon slots so walang choice, late in the morning na ang wedding. We also were able to pencil-book the events venue already and I've already told my friend who does wedding photography na kukunin namin siya. Hehe. Next would be the caterer. This will be a challenge since 3 lang yung accredited sa venue namin and they're not really well-known in the wedding industry unlike Hizon's, K by Cunanan etc. and hindi rin sila ganun ka-superb with styling unlike those that I've mentioned. Ayaw ko naman  magbayad ng corkage! LOL. So ayun, hindi ko tuloy alam kung lulunukin ko na lang yung corkage o stick with the three caterers. Huhu. Plus budget wedding pala kami. Hahaha.  Any suggested mid-range caterer na okay sa styling? Thanks! Good luck to me!!!

sis stars01, don't fret too much if the accredited caterers sa venue mo are not well-known. kase there are some caterers na kahit di kilala can deliver really good outputs naman.
if you backread some threads here, you'll notice that even the caterers you've mentioned have hits and misses din.
let us know kung sino yung 3 accredited caterers and baka some of our sisses here ay naka-encounter na sa kanila and can give feedback.
and i highly suggest na makipag-meet and ft ka sa 3 kase baka naman ok yung food nila or magaling sila mag-asikaso clients kase sa pagpili ng caterer, malaking tulong ang diligence and research.

Hello sis f878 and sis ayouweinlove. Malapit na mabaliw yung fiance ko sa akin kasi everyday, paiba-iba ako ng iniisip re: catering. Hindi ko alam kung magstick ba ako or look for new ones. The three caterers are:

1) Evelyn's Catering
2) Patio de Tata Roque
3) Kusina ni Kambal

The one we talked to at the admin office of the venue suggested we get Evelyn's Catering since out of the three, siya daw yung may pinakamasarap na food and pinakamaayos na styling according to feedback from their previous clients. Kaya lang parang nakulangan ako nung nakita ko yung FB page nila.

Thank you sis ayouweinlove. Actually lurker ako ng thread na yan. Hahaha. I know Queensland kasi taga-dito yan sa amin sa south at madalas yan ang caterer sa mga events na napupuntahan ko dito sa amin. Masarap ang food! Pero super matataga kami sa delivery charges niyan bilang sa Marikina ang wedding.
