So far, I've had three meetings with QC-based designers:
Sheiralyn, Larrina and Stephanie Tan.
And I liked Ms. Sheiralyn of Apartment 8 Clothing
Pero I still have a lot more couturiers to consider.
Maaga pa naman diba? March 2017 pa naman ang wedding...

This week we have to meet Bridesdream (Visayas Ave.) and Adora Couture (Maginhawa street)

Can you recommend other couturiers in the QC area?

Sis jamie143, sorry to hear that. What happend? Can you share ano yung mga negative reviews na nalaman mo kaya nyo iteterminate ang contract? I really also hope na everything will go well throughout your preps. You have a lot of time to prepare. Just be wiser and do a lot of research moving forward.

So I got engaged 2 weeks ago. We plan to get married on our anniversary January 7, 2017. Yung iba dito, mas matagal pa sa amin pero may mga nabook na. Waaaaa. Hirap pa kasi budget wedding tapos ang daming kailangan imbitahin. Anyone here know of a very affordable venue for 200-250 pax? Kahit saan sa Metro Manila papatulan ko. hehe. I have done inquiries left and right. Sa Gazebo Royale, booked na yung gabi ng 01/07/17 sa both big halls nila. Ang bibilis grabe!

^ sis jamie143 - ang hirap naman ng lagay mo. I feel your stress. Sakit sa ulo nyan. Hugs to you sissy! Sana nga tumupad sa usapan yung coord na yan at ma-refund lahat ng nabigay nyo sa kanya. You're right, mabuti nalang na naagapan nyo na yan kesa naman yung malapit na ang big day, wala pa ring nagagawa. Atleast you have mahabang time pa. Well, wishing you a good luck on this. Update ka lang sis if ever successful ang pag-refund sa kanya or what, but I really do hope that everything will fall into its right place. Smile na sis, pray nalang.

sis stars01 - congrats on your engagement! Welcome to the club. Same tayo ng wedding day! Naku, bilisan mo na magpa-book sis, as in agad agad. Lalo sa catering, kasi halos lahat ng napuntahan naming food tasting, may mga naka-book na ng Jan.7! Hot date ang wedding day natin sis. Madami na rin tayo dito sa GT Jan7. As for me, madami dami na rin naman kaming na-book.
Less than a yr nalang, pero wala pa rin kaming church. Kayo ba sis saan ang church nyo?

Yes sis.. i will update. Nakausap nadin namin yung friend ni hoby na nagrecommend. Sana nga maibalik. Inaantay nalang namin ngayong katapusan. Pero nakakainis maghintay kasi bakit sa katapusan pa niya ibibigay.. knowing na nung siya ang nagpadownpayment bigay agad kami sa kanya. But since wala naman kami magawa. no choice kaya intay nalang talaga. Big lessons talaga eto sa amin sis. Kaysa naman mastress ako hanggang matapos ang wedding namin. Haha! Anyway salamat sis! so far pinagpipilian ko kung sino maganda kuhain. Kung si ms ayie of imbitado Events ba or si ms kim ng AK events. any suggestions sis?

About coord, hindi ako nakapag-search sis eh.
Ang kinuha namin na coordinator is Ms.Ruby of FYI Events. We got their semi-full coordination. Highly recommended kasi sya ng friend ko, eh yung kaibigan kong yun is very very OC sa kanyang wedding and sobrang choosy, add mo na rin yung parents ni friend na sobra ring hands-on nung wedding nila. I trust their judgement. Talagang binenta nila sakin tong coor na to. Hahah! Also na-witness ko naman gaano sila kaalaga on the wedding day itself.
Since semi-full kinuha namin, dapat 6months before the wedding lang sya kikilos and dapat major suppliers will be booked by us. Pero si Ms.Ruby is very accommodating, kahit more than a yr pa ang wedding namin, gumagalaw na sya. Super bilis nya mag-reply. Lahat ng suggested suppliers nya is magaganda. And ang plus points samin is nung in search kami ng church, pinupuntahan nya yung mga church na target namin just to pencilbook. Out of scope na yung ginagawa nya for us. I really love this supplier of ours.

Hello sis! Same tayo ng wedding date  Anyhow, try mo Prestige tower, they can accommodate 250 pax I think. Their venue is for 30k pero if in-house catering, they have too then free na yung venue. You might want to check cateringtrio.com . Hope this might help  Budget wedding din yung sa amin kaya hanap kme madami options.

Hi angelgmr, I am also married to korean and we will be having our church wedding in Feb. 2017 din. So far, nabooked pa lang namin ay church and OTD coordination. Ang hirap nga magprepare kasi both of us are in Korea. So lahat nagbabased lang ako sa reviews.

december 2017 bride here! I know it's a bit early pa to start planning pero naisip ko the earlier the better! we wanted the wedding to be on July, kasabay ng unang i love you namin sa isa't isa kaso mabagyo daw. kaya gagawa nalang kami ng paraan to move it to december. kaso I will start working in Abu Dhabi on April. di ko alam pano namin plaplanuhin to ng parehas kaming nasa Abu Dhabi. Any ideas? Mas okay rin ba na magpabook sa mga bridal fair? kasi nanay ko nalang papapuntahin ko para magbook if ever

Thank you sa welcome! Wala pa kaming nabbook kahit isa. Plano ko nga na patulan kahit saan pang venue yan eh kasi alam ko hot date. May kasabay ako dapat na friend ko but according to her "she looked everywhere" na raw and everything was already booked that day. Matinding research ito. Hehe. Salamat sa mga suggestions. Hi sis.. mas maganda meron kang relatives na magaasikaso. Unahin mo church at reception na gusto mo. Research mo na. Kami din overseas. Dubai naman kami hehe nung una kasi kumuha kami ng full coord kasi it didnt turned out well eh. Kaya baka OTD nalang kami at hahanap kami ng susupport sa amin na pede magasikaso sa pinas.

hi sis! nag save the date pa ba kayo? plano ko kasi kumuha ng package ng walang save the date kasi mukhang di namin magagamit dahil nga baka paguwi namin kasalan na. ang hirap! haha. may kakilala naman na kami na coordinator. fam friend may kilala kang nag sasave the date sa dubai or abu dhabi? hirap ng overseas sis. how about your wedding gown? thinking of mahogany place kaso medyo nakakaloka yung price. haha! mag scout pa ko ng iba pa.

I showed Sheiralyn some of my pegs (mostly long sleeved and ball gown / A-line style)
and she quoted P40k to P45k daw. Marami kasing lace pati sa skirt.
Then I told her na P65k lang budget ko for my gown, 3 bridesmaids, 1 MOH and 2 mothers.
I asked if feasible ba...
Sabi nya she can work with my budget daw since infinity dresses lang naman ang gusto ko for the ento

And she's very nice kahit 5pm na ko dumating at ang daming tao sa studio nya

Kahit na 2017 pa wedding ko, naibook namin ni h2b si fernbrook gardens (palazzo verde) nung jan2015 pa..

Nagpprepare na rin kami to book yung major suppliers this year..

Kakabook ko lang ng otd ko for 13.5k (promo rate)..
And kakadown ko lang ng 10k kay caterer..

Suggestions for hmua and gowns, please?
