congrats on your engagement sis margauxie! Yes you may start preparing and contacting suppliers now. Economically speaking, you can protect yourself from inflation by booking early. More importantly, you'll have better chances of getting the supplier that you want. It's really heartbreaking to get a reply from a supplier that you want saying they're no longer available on your date. Trust me. It happened to me. Hehe

Yes scout for prices although some (but not most) suppliers do not provide rate for 2017 yet, baka next year na pero scout lang ng scout. I heard Panglao's beach is better than boracay and it's less crowded so perfect yan na destination wedding sis. Happy prep!

Joining supposed to be last quarter 2016 bride ako but the way things are going it looks like mammove kami to 2017 dahil yung mga napipiling date sa feng shui e booked na yung mga venues na gusto namin... sad...

Hi, Im also new here. It was August after I got engage when I started reading post here trying to get ideas and reliable suppliers. Ever since I got engage, i make it a point to always drop by here and read feedbacks and suggestion from other brides whenever Im on my night shift duty. And then I said to myself why am I not joining this forum which leads me here now.  anyway, Im a March 2017 bride, so far we have already booked our venue.

im a 2017 bride too! target namin is june 2017. busy month ba ang june? gusto ko na sana ibook yung church namin which is john paul 2 church in eastwood pero hindi pa raw pwede baka next year pa pwede ibook for 2017.  may mga ine-eye na ko na suppliers for reception/caterer and photos pero hindi ko pa sila mabook kasi hindi ko pa mabook yung church.

Hi sis rowan, 2017 bride din ako. Wala pa kaming nabu-book na church pero nakapag-book na ko ng major suppliers like venue, caterer, PV, coord. If final naman na yung date nyo, okay lang naman na mag-book ng ibang suppliers. Then abangan mo nalang yung church once open na sila for reservation.

Ayan, Jan 2017 bride na nga ako  nakabook na ang church at venue. then starting to book na isa isa yung mga suppliers and then looking for gown designer na

^ Pareho tayo sis, January 2017, may church reception photographer gown and rings na kami. Next year asikasuhin na namin yung iba like flowers hair&makeup and decor. Trying to be well organized  para less stress ang prep next year

thanks girls! ang sure na gusto ko talaga are the caterer and church. mukhang ibbook ko na yung caterer sa bridal fair this weekend. medyo popular kasi yung caterer, k by cunanan. inassure naman ako ng church na hindi ganon kabusy june for them so plan ko na right after new year pupuntahan ko talaga sila and magpapareserve na! lets do this ladies hehe!
