Share ko lang.. I just rented 4 pieces of 5-foot lighted letter standees for our wedding. I find it much better than the normal letter standees na gawa sa wood/cardboard, especially since my reception will be in the evening, so much better if lighted para kita talaga. 

It's from Limeworks Life-Size Letters. Hope this helps

kaya thank you talaga sis juwie! kase we booked them kahit sobrang walang feedback sa kanila pagdating sa weddings pero you were one of the sisses na nakapagpanatag ng loob ko sa food nila lalo na when i saw their set up for your pamamanhikan.

thanks sis rightback. i have nothing but good words for roxy kase since budget bride ako i was really hesitant to spend much on my gown pero roxy made it beautiful without the feeling na tinipid ako. aside from that, medyo pumayat ako on the day ng wedding pero ang ganda pa rin nung bagsak at hapit ng gown ko at ang gaan nya dalhin so hindi ako restricted gumalaw. i'm sure she'll do great on your wedding too.

sis dolphine, transaction-wise wala naman kameng naging problema sa kanila. pumili lang kame ng cake at dineliver naman on time. kumbaga satisfactory lang ang service nila for us. ok lang din yung lasa ng cake pero di naman super rave-worthy for me. though nung cake-cutting ang sabe kase bottom layer yung edible so dun kame nag-attempt kumuha ni hubby. apparently styro pala yung bottom nun at yung edible eh [textspeak!] top half ng bottom layer. medyo madilim pa naman nun so kung sakali styro at fondant ang nakain namin. :/

Sis f878, ano nakapagpa stress drilon sayo sa oasis? Di naman dun ang venue namin pero baka kasi yung experience mo sa kanila na ikina stress mo eh possible ding mangyari sa ibang venues

^sis i read sa isang coord na ang hirap kausap ni oasis. di din daw nila nirerecommend.

sis shygirlme, nakapackage kase yung cake namin with oasis kaya not sure sa exact price pero i think nasa 4k+ yun na 3 layers. and yes, mahirap talaga kausap ang AE's ng oasis. buti na lang si ayie ang otd ko at nakarami na syang kasal dun kaya di nila ko binigyan ng stress sa wedding day.

sis marchbridetobe, the venue and amenities are not bad sa oasis ha. it's with the AE's lang talaga ang problem. sa buong preps ko sila lang ang supplier na tinarayan ko kase ang labo nila kausap. i could make a very long list pero ang bottom line nya is hindi sila magaling makipag-communicate with clients. may mga hinirit sila samen na di daw pwede pero pag nagtaas na ko ng boses saka nila sasabihin na "ay sige po mam check ko" tapos ang ending pwede din pala. hay. buti tapos na kame sa kanila kase ayoko ma bumalik sa office nila kahit araw-araw ko sila nadadaanan! haha

^ahh talaga sis, buti pala marunong ka manindak! actually gusto ko din matutunan maging ganyan pag may pasawang suppliers pero nakakatakot naman na baka pag naging bridezilla ka lalo silang di magperform ng maayos pero good thing na sayo it's the other way around. hehe.

^sis imbitado bride here too! I asked a friend of mine na sila Ms ayie rin ang coords. Aside from completing the sheets, compiling the contracts she needed, putting all the stuffs/DIY in a box and sort it out, anything else you can add as a tip? Thank you soooo much!

^halos nasabi mo na lahat sis :-) mag handover ka ba ng payment sa kanya? ginawa ko the day before nilagay ko sa envelope then I put names ng suppliers and amount. pag dating ni Ayie binigay ko sa kanya then nilista nya agad yun. siguro dont expect too much and let go on the day na din. promise malaking tulong! isa pa di ko masyado pinuna mga suppliers ko. i have a friend kasi nag expect too much sa suppliers e yun tipong lahat may puna sya. halos same suppliers kami lahat ng possitive comments ko sa supplier ko negative sa kanya, so I guess nasa tao din yun.

^ oh yes sis thank you for reminding! One of our brides here suggested to put the money/ cheque in an envelope and state the supplier's name outside and provide a list. So when the supplier got the payment na, they should sign to acknowledge lang na nareceive na nila ang full payment. Something like excel sheet.. Or simple word document nalang tee hee!!  Oonga eh ang hirap ng maraming nakikita tapos wala naman magawa to amend something immediately. Hahaha

So ibibigay mo yun otd na mismo right? After the ceremony naman, yung mga DIY ibabalik nila sayo mismo or pwdeng may point person ka nalang? Or talagang aantayin nila maubos lahat ng guest bago kayo mag usap ulit?

^yun sheet sis meron na talaga si ayie i think di kasama sa handover yun. regarding the diy lahat ibabalik nila sa inyo as in! may fitflops pala ko nung preps pinadala nung assigned coord sakin baka daw kasi magamit ko totoo nga nagamit ko haha!

Ask ko rin do you bring your own purse? Tipong clutch bag ba or something like nakahang sa wrist ninyo palagi? Inside are:
-- Handphone ( naisip ko kung needed ko ba talaga ito or makakasikip lang sa bag)
-- May powder, ( i wonder kung need pa nito or your HMUA will take care of you 100%)
-- safety pins/ tablets, ( MOH ba magkeep?)
-- yung flats / flipflops / extra shoes, sinong nagkeep para sa inyo?

I am wondering kasi merong helper sila htb, gusto isama ni MIL para daw may "kanang kamay" raw kami otd. E based on your experiences naman MOH, and coords will do their tasks efficiently! tee hee!
