Hmmm, in other venues, the 10k will be deducted from the package rate. Not sure though if they will retain the freebies since they were booked via fair naman.

I thought of doing that too kaso medyo magiging magulo so we'd rather use up the 10k for something else..

Sis belle_v2g, how about use the 10k for the swags/chandeliers/paper lanterns in GG? Diba you can avail those? Or use it for the lechon fee service/mobile bar service. also if you extend the waiters' service, that's 10k an hour. Just some options.

^did you upgrade your drapes with GG too sis juwie? kinuha lang namin yung 10 pieces hanging crystals.. yung 10k, since we paid that to KbyC, on top of the rates we paid with GG+KbyC package, i'm thinking of additional cocktail (which is 35/head), or upgraded styling which is 1000/table the last time i heard.., or maybe tama ka sis, ilagay ko sa lechon.. (kaso the lechon will be shouldered by my mum) i'll think about it pero most probably mapupunta ito sa food.

Hi ladies, official na ngang nag-increase ang rates ng K by C according to my AE Yanna ng GG. march 17 kami nag-FT, then sabi i-book namin ng 21 sa Bridal Fair para may freebies daw na dessert. March 18 nag-increase ng rates. just saw our updated SOA, from 995php, 1300/head na sya. Pinag-iisipan ko tuloy kung lilipat ako sa Josiah's (our second choice).

Yes sis belle Nalulungkot lang ako kasi we could've avoided the increase kung sinabihan kami ng nagresign naming AE na if with K by C, book early 2014 booked na major suppliers namin except for the caterer kasi we thought price locked na kami Nakakahinayang din kasi yung deposit e. So I'm not sure if we're gonna change caterers, masarap din kasi food ng Josiah's pero mas nagustuhan namin yung overall food and design ng KbyC.

did you book them separately ba? get in touch with your kbyc ae.. They could probably do something about it kasi maayos naman kausap ang k by cunanan AEs. Supposedly price lock na talaga dapat. Sayang din yung down payment sis eh.. Sana man lang din sinabihan kayo about the increase. Who is your coordinator sis? Maybe she can help you deal with it. Bon (my coord) and Jam of KbyC frequently works together kaya ang bilis kong makiusap sa kanila.

Sis philpotts, did you book GG and KbyC separately? kami kasi naka package B sa GG tapos pipili na lang kami ng caterer. nasa 300k+ yung total namin tapos sa GG kami nag babayad since last year pa, hindi sa KbyC. Nag down lang kami sa KbyC ng 10k para ma block yung date sa amin. Are they booked separately?

sis juwie, same tayo ng ginawa. booked them separately. pero i told GG beforehand na venue + caterer package ako with menu B ng KbyC. i booked k byc sa bridal fair just to get the freebies. . actually, nauna kong nabook yata si kbyc kaysa kay GG. then lahat ng payments ko kay GG diretso.

Menu B pala sis belle_v2g hehe. Yes pareho tayo. I'm just wondering bakit ganun kay philpotts. baka nga separate yung bayad (meaning venue lang ang inavail nila sa GG at hiwalay yung sa caterer).

^that's the reason too why i have 10k excess kay kbyc na magagamit ko for something else.. sis philpotts, i hope masettle mo soon yung sa caterer mo.. i hope they reconsider. buti kung 100/head lang ang increase.. pero 305 is too much naman.

Hi mga sis, all along I thought yung na-reserve namin before is the venue + caterer (with Joice). Here's the explanation of Yanna, the new AE assigned to us I think. She sent a revised Statement of Acct na din

"You will only be price locked if you booked the caterer earlier. But you booked the caterer just last March. Price locking must be coordinated with the caterer not through us but in your case, KbyC is our only accredited caterer that don't allow price lock. The one you booked last year October is just the venue."

Sakit sa bangs.   Pero when I inquired about Josiah's rate same price pa din daw. I'm setting up a skype meeting with my coordinator Ayie of Imbitado, baka magawan pa ng paraan

Pumunta kami sa GG last apr9, they didnt include yung package ni kbyc dahil iba daw yung price nila.. so meaning mag iiba yung amount ng venue+catering package nila. Im super interested in getting them kase I've been reading a lot of good feedbacks, na masarap ang food at kahit basic styling palang maganda na. But, nakakatakot at parang hirap nila contact, no website and hindi updated ang fb page then I tried calling them, kaso around 5:30pm na.. offline na daw mga tao nila then binabaan ako agad ng phone. Maybe hindi meant to be.. hehe
