Do you consider renting wedding gown?

Hi TS, i rented my wedding gown.. 1st use ako.. Made-to-rent ata tawag dun. Like you, hindi ko rin gusto mag-store ng wedding gown that's why i opted for that arrangement tsaka para practical na rin. What I did was asked the mananahi if they would be open for that arrangement. they agreed naman so after the wedding binalik ko yung gown and the long veil.

 Sa divisoria sobrang daming pagpipilian. If magrerent naman, choose a gown na first user ka. Heheeh!
Or kung magpapatahi, bili kayo ng sariling tela para labor na lang ng magtatahi ang babayaran nyo. Tawaran to the max para mas makatipid.

Ako din dati inisip ko na mag rent ako kasi yung taong pag may gagamitin, as much as possible mapapakinabangan ulit.. tapos yung pagtatabi pa ng gown, but the i realized, mas okay na may gown ako na sarilia t sa pagtanda ko mapapakita ko sa mga anak ko na yun ang sinuot ng nanay nila (kahit kulay lumot na ) And so far medyo nasulit na rin kasi napahiram ko na sa SIL ko, open din ako ipahiram sa mga friends ko pag may gusto

Hi mga sis.. Kinasal ako 2013 and dati naisip ko din yan ang magrent.. Kaso ayaw ng naging asaw ako kaya nagpagawa din ako.. Pero ngayon narealize ko once lang sinuot and ngayon nasa cabinet na lang.. 15k pagawa ko sa gown, even sa wedding shoes din.. If ever baka may gusto sa inyo icheck yung gown ko or even yung shoes imessage nio lang ako. Yung shoes ko blue and gray ang color wedge siya.. 😄

^sis tinapay, try The Bridal Room in Las Pinas. They offer RTW gowns and they just recently opened their gown rentals recently.

Hi sis tinapay, I have a suggestion but it's not in Divisoria. Sa Makati ang shop, The Chungdam Bridal Wedding. You may check their FB page.

Their rental package includes the shoes, accessories (veil, tiara, gloves, earrings, necklace), the wedding gown, etc.

I recently visited their shop, the owner is so accommodating. The fitting took 3-4 hours because she made me try 5 gowns (mermaid style, semi mermaid- A line and ball gown).

The Bridalroom in Paranaque launched their for rent bridal gowns, siguro kung di pa ako nakapag book ng couturier, nag rent na lang ako. Ang gaganda pa ng mga gowns and bago kasi they just opened e. Very classy pa ng vibe.

mga sis, how much ang price ranges ng renting sa The Chungdam Bridal Wedding and Bridalroom ?

^ Inquired with Chungdam, range ng cost ng mga gowns nila is 8k-20k daw. Pero nung nag-ask ako uli, sabi nya usually daw 14k-18k talaga. So di ko alam bat minention nila yung range na starting sa 8k. Pero their gowns naman are very beautiful.

With Bridal Room naman, sabi nila 6k-10k daw. Nag-ask na rin ako ng specific price nung mga nagustuhan ko sa pictures online, pero I'm waiting pa for their response.  Para may idea na ko bago pumunta dun, mejo malayo din kasi.

Anyway, sisses @fionaapple, @cb_creampuff, @gwyne21, sino sino mga supplier nyo? Pashare naman. Mas prefer ko na rin kasi magrent kasi sobrang ganda naman nung quality ng mga for rent. Mga 35k and above na gown, marerent ko ng around 10k lang. Hope matulungan nyo ko sa October na kasi kasal ko. -_-

(Matagal na rin ako na naglulurk around dito sa GT, ngayon lang ako nagkalakas ng loob mag-join sa convo. hehe.)

Nagpunta kami agad sa bridal room in paranaque after they launched their lines of for rent gowns.  Their cheapest for rent gown is 6k.  The sizes were 6 and up.  Medyo maluwag on me pero when i tried a few, kasya naman pala.  Maluwag lang on the chest area.  After a month, i decided to go for their for rent gowns.  Wala na kasi talaga akong oras, 4 months to go na lang before my wedding.  Within a span of 1 month since the last we visited, i'm just not sure if there were other brides who have rented already my preferred gown.  And since 4 months to go pa before my wedding, i'm not sure din if they will still lend my chosen gown to other brides before my wedding.  That i have to ask tomorrow.  Will go there to sign the agreement already and again fit my chosen gown.  Bukod sa rental cost, you have to pay for dry cleaning fee (2k)and security cost (10k).  You have to pay in full upon reservation.

Sayang sis peachlipstick, i read your post just now.  Di ko man lang nabisita yung Chungdam.  Mukhang ok din gowns nila according to their fb page, versatile and complete with accessories pa.  I think ok 'to pag wala nang time yung bride to scout for gowns and accessories (like me).  I just don't know price range ng gowns nila.

Hi sis tinapay, SaeRa of the Chungdam Bridal told me na 14k ang package nila. Since it's 14k with all the accessories parang mas gusto ko na sa magrent na lang para mas convenient and hindi nakakahinayang na bibili ng mga accessories na once lang gagamitin.

^yes sis, more practical. My sister also told me na noon 15k gown na, that was more than 10yrs ago. Ngayon di na nya alam kung ano gagawin dun. She joked na gamitin ko na lang daw gown na.  Yung accessories like veil (both sa church and bride) and cord sa church parang gusto ko na lang din hiramin sa mga sisters ko but ang sabi bawal daw hinihiram ang cord? Pati kaya veil?

Hi sis, prenup gown lang ang nirent ko.56k lang kasi package ng gown ko. Di pumayag mom ko at husband ko na magrent ako ng wedding gown.

Yung sa prenup gown, simplr lang siya na mint green sheath style. Tapod one shoulder... Nirent ko sa royanne camillia. 1,500 yata yung rent ko.tapos may deposit na 2k. Ayoko kask bumili ng gown for prenup kasi yung mga nagustuhan ko na rtw  nasa 5k pataas. Kaya ayun. Yung photographer ko sinuggest nya magrent ng prenup gown.

sis Tinapay, I have considered renting din sa Bridal Room, but they don'y alter. Yung nagustohan ko kasi na gown is a little long for me. I ended up buying sa Landmark Makati. Naka sale pa rin sila ngayon at 20% off =) Good service and magaganda ang selections nila.
