almost 4 months to go na kame and we are still well within the limits of our min/max budget.
hoping and praying that all goes well at di kame umabot sa ceiling budget of 450k for 150pax.
really grateful at nagkaron ng bagong job opportunity si h2b and that gave him the leeway na magstart ayusin ang titirhan namin. he had the rooms repainted and tiling for the bedroom started na.

ay ang saya naman within the budget! hehee. kasama na ba ang on the day expenses nio dun sis? like vans, hmua ng ento, or crew meals? mga ganun?

saya ng feeling na name-maintain namin kahit papano yung ideal budget that we set when we started planning.
super max na talaga yung 450k sis. we're currently running at 430k so the 20k is for "emergency gastos" na pwedeng sumulpot on the day (na wag naman sana mangyari. hehe).
we booked a venue na very near sa place ni h2b so no need to rent vans for his family and even mine kase kasya kame lahat sa bahay nila.
hmua for the ento ay kanya-kanyang diskarte naman. so parang gift na din nila samen yun.
for crew meals, lutong bahay ang plano namin for lunch and that won't cost more than 2k naman and my family knows how to prepare and pack meals naman. yung dinner lang talaga ang papa-deliver namin and that should be about 3k at kasama na sya sa total budget.

^ sis baka naman dumadami ang wants natin dyan vs. needs heheh. I would have wanted that kind of budget sana nung kinasal ako pero talagang hanggang 200k lang kami that time kaya pikit mata kong nilet go ang mga nice to haves kaya konti lang din suppliers namin. Di bale sis, I'm sure marami makakatulong sayo dyan dito sa GT. Post away na ang mga nabook mo, amount and short description ng package.

Our budget is 200-250k for a Tagaytay wedding good for 80-90 pax. When I first started reading GT, naisip ko baka hindi kasya yung budget. Nakakalula mga budget ng mga nababasa ko. Nung una inisip namin na taasan ang budget namin but the practical side of us won. We also need to consider if saan kami titira after. We're also more willing to splurge sa honeymoon. We're paying for our wedding and we don't want to expect from our parents and guests.

Hubby and I decided to stick with the 200-250k budget. And so far okay naman. Nung January lang kami nagstart mag prepare pero we're almost finished finding suppliers who are within the budget. Research lang talaga katapat. Ang DIY lang namin is invitation kase gusto kong gumagawa ng mga ganun eh.

I'm glad to find other brides here na pareho ng budget because they inspire me to work within our means.

Sis yannuh, sometimes we don't notice the small things because it only takes up a small amount of our budget. However, when you add it all up, you'll be surprised. That happened to us when we first started planning.  Try to put all your expenses in an MS Excel file, add it up and review which ones ate up most of your budget. If you can still do away with unnecessary expenses, do so. Otherwise, moving forward, try to be mindful of other expenses, even the smallest ones, in order to better control your budget

I do have an excel file na minemaintain to track down all the expenses, siguro kaya malaki dahil detailed talaga, like yung marriage license requirement is kasama sa total cost, gifts sa ento/suppliers, church stipend, saka food during wedding preps. ugh, super tipid ko pa nyan Di bale, check ko ulit ang "nice to haves" ko. parang wala naman masyado huhu

Sis kami honestly nung una nagtaka din kami bakit ang mahal ng wedding namin. To think di pa namin sagot damit ng abay. Hindi namin napaghandaan kasi yung costs mg church namin akala namin 28k all in na. Kaso di pa kasama flowers at choir don. Malaki din ng part ng budget namin napunta sa church. Akala kasi namin sa catering at p/v eh. ni let go ko yung wants. Kasi kung magdagdag pa ko non oover na kami sa budget. Maganda naman kinalabasan ng wedding namin

hi sis yannuh. magkapareho tayo ng price range eh.
baka magkapareho tayo ng suppliers. haha! sagot din ng abay namin ang isusuot nila..
ok lang naman yan sis lalo na kung kampante ka naman sa mga suppliers na nakuha mo.
pwede kaseng may kinuha ka na supplier na medyo mahal pero sobrang confident ka naman sa skills nila or you really feel na they are worth it.
i also have an excel sheet para may idea ako sa projected income & costs namin.
so far, ang kumain talaga ng malaking chunk sa wedding expenses namin is yung venue+caterer package. nasa 220k yun so bale half na ng budget namin. medyo na-sad lang ako ng slight nung makita ko na may mga venue+caterer pala ako'ng makukuha na less than 150k lang. kaso sobrang accessible ni venue kaya naging non-nego na lang at inisip ko lang na binabayaran namin yung convenience.
lista mo lang lahat yan sis kase baka naman may logical reason na applicable para sa inyo kung baket naging ganun ang total nyo. or baka may makita ka din na pwede mo pang bawasan or ma-palitan ng mas mura.

^ sis sakura30 kami din 200k budget for manila wedding naman and good for 150 pax guests. Wala din kami sponsors or monetary help from families and friends. Pinagkasya lang namin yung pera na hawak namin at naging successful naman, everybody happy.

It was very simple pero natuwa naman ako sa outcome on the day. Siyempre I would have wanted pa rin na mas kumpletong suppliers and mas maraming extra na nice to haves just like what I originally envisioned sana for us. Pero kailangan namin mag reality check eh hanggang dun lang talaga. Kasi pag pinilit namin mas malaking problema at sakit sa ulo. Pero for those naman na who can afford at flexible budget na pwede talaga mag splurge why not.

^sis F878 hindi din ako masyado ngsplurge sa food e, 120K na un lahat tapos free na cake, photobooth, drapes, saka styling. venue is 21,500,p&v is 35K, makeup ko is 20,500 kasi sagot ko muk-up nila abay. Inisa-isa ko talaga haha.Ayun lang naman.

Di bale, will make sure na we'll be the happiest couple sa araw na yun hehe.

It's really hard to budget. When we got engaged, my fiance allotted a certain budget for our wedding. The amount is actually enough for a modest wedding. Pero reviewing our current state, our budget has now blown by 100%, with me shouldering the other half. Looks like we'll even go beyond the 100% increase because of the other miscellaneous expenses, i.e., food/tip for suppliers, gifts for overseas friends and relatives, tokens for entou, etc. To think we have a number of suppliers who are family friends/family suppliers who have given us HUGE discounts. Hay. It's so expensive to get married.

For those na sasagot ng entourage dresses, did you get it from them after the wedding or sa kanila na yun? Naisip ko kasi since ako naman nagbayad, ibenta ko na lang after.

Sis, kami ang sagot sa gowns ng entou namin.. They'd be keeping their gowns after the wedding.. Sort of token of appreciation namin sa kanila for attending our destination wedding.. Overseas din kase ang bridesmaids ko, kaya appreciated namin na uuwi sila to attend. Kaya kanila na ang gowns..
