^^Yes sun life has investment funds that grows depending on which fund you choose with historical average return of 8-15% annually. We recommend long term investing around 5-7+ years for growth to really be felt since market is volatile. PM me if you want me to schedule an appointment and we will teach you more on which fund to choose.

^Unless your annual premium is already paid up all early payments will go to the premium. Once the annual premium is already done then the extra funds you'll put in will go to top up. So to answer your question, yes it is ok to pay early :)

If you need help on evaluating your financial needs you can PM me to set an appointment with my husband who has a heart of a teacher that will explain all the details for you to decide on which solutions best fit your needs.

Hi sis!

^^Did your agent explained that a VUL specially regular paying type are an insurance with investment not an investment with insurance. There is a difference that insurance is the main purpose of the plan. Was the charges discussed properly?

Can i ask if there are riders attached to the policy like critical illness and hospita income.

I would recommend to still continue with the plan because it will be a big help to your family if uncertenties happen.

If you need help on evaluating your financial needs you can PM me to set an appointment with my husband who has a heart of a teacher that will explain all the details further for you to decide on which solutions best fit your needs. (we will not charge for answering your queries, you are welcome to ask questions we have a regular group meet ups to discuss personal finance. Since this is free we only have specific area where we hold the discussion near our place  :))

Hi sis,

regarding your question, whenever you place money on VULs it buys units. So ang makikita lang natin disadvantage when placing the full payment today is kung mataas ang pagkabili natin ng units at bumaba ng bumaba ang market while advantage naman is kung tumaas ang market then your money could start earning interest na. pag regular payment every yearly naman it is patterned to peso cost averaging, so every payment mo for 10 years di natin din alam kung mababa or mataas ang price ng unit but the regular payment averages the risk down. let me know if ive answered your question.

It depends.

Timbangin mo muna.

Bakit mo ito gusto gawin? Ano ang gusto mo ma-achieve?

In the insurance perspective, okay ito kung gusto mo na wala ka na poproblemahing babayarin in the next 8 years. Posible kasi na hindi rin secure ang cash flow mo and you want to make sure na covered ka if cash flow will be a concern in the future.

ADDENDUM: Contact your agent or call the insurance company if paying the remaining years in full is possible for your policy. If yes, ask whether you can avail of a discount since you are paying in bulk.

In the investment perspective naman kung tied with investment ang insurance mo, hindi ito okay. Nawawalan ng opportunity ang investment mo to do peso-cost averaging. Kung mura mo naman mabili ang units ng investment ngayon, how sure are you na in the next 8 years hindi pa ito bababa? Anlaki ng exposure to risk ng mga units mo kung bibili ka in bulk. Peso-cost averaging helps you spread the volatility of prices.

Hope this helps :)

I have a Maxilink Prime for 10 years and I have been paying for more than 2 years na. Before I am paying 2k per month pero nung nanganak kasi ako last year medyo ginipit ako so nakakapag hulog ako 1k monthly lang. So ok lang ba yun? Or may penalty? I hope someone can enlighten me. I am planning to put a large amount once nakuha ko bonus ko then papalipat ko din sana from balance to equity. Salamat!

Thank u @PetiksPinayInvestor I am trying na habulin sya. Then recently lang kame nakakabawi. Thanks ulet!

Viewing my Sunlink Online

Effective Date - Activity Type - Total Premium Received - Net Amount - Transfer Charges

http://www.sunlife.com.ph/philippines/Products+and+Services/Variable+life+insurance?vgnLocale=en_CA

Everyday nagbabago yun.

10 years ang Maxi Prime di ba?

Example, target college education fund of kids ay 5 Million (kunyari)

Check your fund value.

How far are you?

May the gap be your motivation to meet your goal and extend your horizon.

Kaya instead of lessening your deposits, be motivated na palakihin pa ang contribution to lessen the distance from your money goal

You can do it!  ;D

Yup may financial needs analysis kame. Nung nakuha ko kasi sya single pa ko so its for retirement sana then naka Balanced Fund sya. And then advise din ng financial advisor ko na kapag may extra dapat ilagay ko din.

Fund Value as of Issue Date   :   PS 1,979.11
Fund Value as of July 09, 2015   :   PS 3,315.35
Cash Surrender Value as of July 09, 2015 :   PS 3,315.35

Fund Value as of Issue Date  - ito ang halaga ng fund value nung na-settle ang iyong policy
Fund Value as of July 09, 2015  - fund value nung July 9

- Yes. Nawi-withdraw ito, partail or full

Para simple, VUL = insurance + investment

investment = fund value

- technically no. The Face Amount is fixed na. Ang pwede magbago is Death Benefit

Death Benefit = Face Amount + Fund Value

Any advise?

sa peso cost averaging, consistency (discipline) and length of term (the longer the years the better) ang keys to increasing your investments :)

Remember your financial goal. para saan ba ito? and magkano yung goal

Now kung mabagal talaga, learn other investment alternatives

to manage the risk, increase your knowledge :)
