@gwyne21: ah okay magkano ang ikilo ng enfalac ngayon?sobrang mahal din kasi ang gatas an yan eh pero ang nan hw na gamit ko mahal din eh

yap, medyo mahal nga... yung enfamil a+2, yung biggest size, 1.8kg ay around 2150php ang price. mas mahal pa ng konti yung enfalac. Nagtitingin-tingin din ako sa supermarket, mahal nga din and Nan, S26gold at Similac.

^ sis, how old is your baby? sorry wasn't able to backread na..
from the very start ba may signs na sya ng allergies?
usually allergies are genetic or acquired due to early feeding..
before, my cousins already started to give solid food like bread, cookie, biscuit and rice to their babies as early as 3months..
i told them that its wrong, though wala pa kong anak that time, kaya siguro di sila nakikinig sakin... the child ended up allergic to some food.. most common is egg, which is an ingredient of biscuits and cookies..
hindi pa kasi fuly develop ang digestive system ng mga babies kaya dapat careful tayo sa pag introduce ng food sakanila.. and lots of vitamin c din kasi nakakatulong yun para labanan allergic reactions natin..

@23miramir: sis mga 6 months yon sita nagka allergies taz ngayon medyo okay naman din pabalik balik lang specially kung mainit siguro ngamana din siya sa akin kasi ako dati mabilis ma allergy eh...
6 months ko siya pinapakain ng solid at not shes 13 months na running 14 months

joining.. i gave my daughter S26gold from birth to 6 months,
6months to 1yr promil gold, then progress gold till 4yrs old, now progress gold preschool/promil preschool.. she 6 now.. hindi sya tumaba ever, i feed her as instructed plus the pedia said not to feed her everytime she fussed or cry.. sometimes feeding makes them quiet but its not advisable on formula feeding..
wasn't able to produce breastmilk din kasi..

For some reason, mine won't drink milk unless he is really hungry.  I can't help but really feed milk especially at night when he cries para he will keep quiet na.  Oftentimes, he is not hungry, gusto lang ng different position.

My baby is exclusively breast fed for almost 3 months, then my milk started to decline when i took meds for a week na kaya hindi pwede magpabreastfeed, after a week of not breastfeeding ayaw na dumadede sakin kaya tinuloy tuloy nalang namin S26, she started to take it when she was 2.5 months old na.

My baby is already 6.5 months and her pedia still advised us na S26 parin (w/ complementary feeding) until she turns 1. Mas masustansya daw kasi S26 compared to Promil, at saka shifting to a new formula milk magkaka cause pa ng constipation, as her pedia.

@beng01: nakakatakot din kasi kung papalitan ko ng new milk si baby baka magtae pa at constipated mahirap din yon....

sabi daw nila na dapat daw hindi ko sinanay si baby sa mamahaling gatas para daw nakasave man lang ako kahit kunti...eh ayoko naman din ipagkait ni baby yong mga needs niya

My baby's FM is Similac from 3rd week up to now.  She just turned 6 months last Monday and hindi na namin pinalitan ang brand.  Hiyang sya sa Similac Gain.

Si baby hiyang naman sa s26. i dont mind kung mahal kay baby naman eh tska pagkain yun. although sympre kinda nanghihinayanag din, kasi sana BF para tipid eh ayaw nya talaga maglatch at dumede sa kin.

Hi mommies, first time mom here, im having a problem in giving my daughter, shes 4 months, she has allergy specifically cow's milk protein, nag kaka rashes all over the body. So my pedia advices na to give here nan hw1. Nag pupump ako i gave here expressed breast milk, the problem is konti nalang na pupump ko. Aside from nanhw1 ano pa bang hypoallergenic milk ? Problema ko yung lasa kasi ng nanhw1 may baby doesnt like it!

^cindr05: as far as i know sis wala na akong alam na milk na hypoallergenic eh...yan din kasi ni recommend ng pedia ni baby kasi mabilis magka allergies si baby...why dont you try to ask your pedia if ano pang pwedeng milk ang pwede ni baby mo?if di siya hiyang at yaw niya better find another milk.....breastfeeding din ako before eh pro mixed lang

^^ hindi talaga masarap ang nan ha and any other hypoallergenic milk for that matter because panget daw talaga ang taste ng hydrolyzed whey na ingredient niya.

Ang alam ko may S26 gold HA (hypo allergenic). Meron ding Similac TC (partially hydrolyzed and lactose free). Baka magustuhan ng baby mo yung s26 gold HA, yun yung gamit ng baby ng friend ko

My pedia nag reccomend nutramigen (from med johnson yung manufacturer ng enfa series) it costs around 900pesos/400 grams namamahalan ako nag research ako ng lasa, hindi daw masarap.

at first kasi pedia advice to try frisolac, hipp, similac, similac tc baka matolerate naman yung milk protein so bumili ako lahat nag ka allergy si baby kahit 1-2oz lang, then i tried nanhw1 as adviced walang allergy kaso pahirapan yung 1oz ubusin.


Next resort daw would be soy milk based or goats milk

I will ask muna yung s26 gold ha. I'm willing to buy any milk naman ang problema ko yung lasa. ayoko kasi ihalo yung breastmilk sa formula kasi 1 hour lang dapat idiscard na ang formula from time na prinepare.
