Sis, not possible ba talaga to move dates (even to a different month)? Medyo scary yang predicament mo, madaming possibilities. Either more people cannot go since may pasok pa the next day at gagabihin sila, or will leave early (eat and run) right after the dinner is served para umuwi since they dont want to personally spend on accommodations, or your program will start really late (8-8:30pm is already too late for hungry tummies) and you run the risk of pissing people off kasi gutom sila then antok during the program. Kung yung normal reception nga meron padin nageeat and run, lalo na if dinner is served this late diba.

If i were in your case i'd just move to a completely different month when all my booked suppliers are available, usually payag naman sila, it saves you the dp paid, cost of booking extra food or accommodations to 'entertain' your guests, and also ensures na di maiinis sakin guests ko kasi pinahirapan ko sila. Also, i would get better pictures esp since ikaw din like me garden venue ka pala, mas ok na mga 3:30-5pm nagpipicture ka and not when it's totally dark. Yun yung peak time for nice pictures. Explore your other options sis... :)

But if you really push through with this, tama si sis Annie you might end up shouldering accommodations esp for your relatives, and also you'll need to provide cocktail food na even before the ceremony starts (maybe 30 mins before the ceremony magserve ka food and drinks/ coffee outside the church, super lamig nadin at 6pm so ok yun). Weigh mo yung trade-offs vs. additional cost.

thanks mga sis..well no choice na talaga..kailangan ipush through nanamin tong 6pm..siguro before nalang na pumunta kame sa church is magpicture na kame..(break the pamahiin na bawal magkita)😱
and about naman sa reception time is gawin nalang namin entertaining yung program which is we need a really good host, band etc.and ofcourse ang magpapabuhay sa mga friends namin ang mobile bar na unlimited sila magpakalasing.lol..then sa mga batang gusto magpuyat mag lagay na lang kame area nila na maentertain din sila..

Be ready na lang siguro kasi maraming preparations at considerations kayong kailangan gawin.

Accommodation - Best option is to prepare this for your guests since it's hell travelling by car at that time of the year.

Guest List - Manage your expectations and understand if some people cannot go.
But then again, the people who love you will be there. Eto sure ako :)

Travel - Dahil nga traffic, advise your guests to take it into consideration sa travel time nila.
Meron ba "safe" alternative?

Weather - December is one of our cold months and Tagaytay is one of our coldest places.

Schedule - Nasabi na yata pero ulitin ko na lang din, prepare some snacks before the ceremony and have cocktail hour after the ceremony.
Unholy hour kasi dinner time. Malamang gugutumin mga tao so give them snacks ;)
Another option is have the dinner early as in yun ang unang agenda pag punta sa reception.

Afternoon light is the best light so go ahead and have your pictorial before the ceremony.

We attended an evening wedding in Tagaytay more than a year ago and while it was ok lang for us kase Saturday naman and we drove going there, naisip lang namin na mejo inconvenient and possibly expensive for those without transpo. Naisip na din kase namin non to book a room at a hotel na lang so I can have my husband and daughter stay there pero I opted to drive na lang. And ang scary mag-drive pababa ng Tagaytay at night ha, halos walang street lights tapos super lamig non (November) and nagmo-moist yung windshield sa lamig.

I think over liwanag na sa tagaytay ngayon..madami na kasing nagbago..so maybe talagang pinaka ok talaga na gawin ko is humanap ng accomodation for our guest..kasi malamang madaling araw na matapos ang party.lol..ooopppsss may pasok pala next day.😔 magsimbang gabi nalang sila diretso.😄😇

Hi jheajen! We had just our wedding last saturday. We have the same venue, church and time and almost the same day! (our wedding date is jan 17, 2015). Before the wedding pareho tyo ng worries pero not so expected na magiging masaya ang wedding namin :) we started the cermony at 5:30 pm at since caleruega ka and i hope father allen is you priest, dont worry mageenjoy ang mga guests sa cermony kahit 2hrs yung mass. then 8:30 na ata kami nag grand entrance so we are worried baka magutom yung guest kasi after ng grand entrance namin first dance agad. so to avoid na magalit at di gutom ang mga guest, pinagphotobooth muna namin sila at binigyan ng mabigat na apetizer para malibang. isang factor din yung caterer mo and ensure the program ay may particpation lahat. Just manage yung expectation ng mga guests kasi dun sila magdedecide if makakaatend sila or hindi. :) Sana it helps tong reply ko hihi

Night wedding is a small issue sana kung Friday or Saturday night. Sunday night pwede na rin but if it is on Wednesday night, your guests might need to take a leave in a middle of the week preferably for 2 days (wed-thur). Your guests must love you enough to attend, kasi kung not so close baka magpadala na lang ng gifts. Not being nega ha, I'm also having a weekday wedding but it is Friday and the previous day is a holiday. Ipit na day but I'm still worried but accepted na meron pa rin magde-decline at meron magcocomment, just remember di naman talaga maiiwasan yan :) Yan lang yung nakikita kong issue, about sa lights, photos, foods madaling gawan ng paraan yun. Attendees talaga lang yung medyo 50/50.

got married 4 days ago in Caleruega.. And successful ang intimate wedding namin :) So here's a short supplier rating:

Church: Caleruega
Rating: 10/10
Closer to nature, closer to God :)

Priest: Fr Allen De Guzman
Rating: 20/10
Cant thank fr allen enough. Lahat ng guests galing pa ng manila for a 9 am mass, but walang inantok or nagcomplain... everyone was included/participated sa homily... they commended fr allen dahil napakaganda ng homily and ng ceremony. Thank you fr allen. we will pray for your health.

PV: 24 frames
Rating: 10/10
:) Mababait and kwela din sila... They are on time and very professional. Game din sila pag sinabi kong shoot pa tayo dito... ganun ganyan.. :) Hehe... tapos bang for the buck pa sila. Sila yung pinaka sulit na nakita kong package. I shortlisted 5 of the cheapest PVs... Sila yung cheapest... But the outcome is great :)

HMUA: Nini Marquez
Rating: 9/10
Ok naman yung make up ni sis nini. :) mejo nalate lang sya ng konti but other than that ok naman lahat... kahit nangarag sya dahil andaming nagpa on the spot make up sa kanya pagtapos ko... :)

gown: divi-made
Rating: 10/10
Dahil super affordable nya tee hee! :D

florist: Il fiore
Rating: 10/10

OTD and emcee: events by rachel
rating: 10/10
hindi ako dapat kkuha ng emcee and otd dahil intimate wedding lang. but buti nalang kumuha ko kundi nawindang pala ko... pinakaimportante yung mag aasikaso sa mga bisita pag wala pa yung bride sa church... sinong magpipin nung mga corsage sa mga guys, magbibigay nung mga candle veil cord, at lahat ng kailangan sa church... si rachel din nagburn ng mga cd na kailangan ko sa lahat.. so very thankful ako sa kanya... and very affordable yung price nya... kumpara sa stress na makukuha mo.

reception: balay indang
rating: 8/10
the food is superb. nabusog lahat. maasikaso din yung staff. kaso mejo mahirap dito yung program flow.. kasi kelangan nyo pa lumipat ngvenue for program, which is minsan tatamarin na yung guests ng palipat lipat... mejo maliit kasi yung main dining hall nila. ewan ko lang yung sa elizabeth hall na bago nila.. sabi nila mejo maluwag daw yun..

yun lang. :) Check out our SDE! :)

Define stress.

Nanganak ang OTD coordinator namin. Hindi nagrereply sa mga follow ups ko. Sa friday na ang wedding. Nakakaloka! Juice colored talaga! I am looking for Plan B to get another coordinator. Sana kayanin pa.

OM sis! Dapat may contingency plan si OTD coord mo. Alam naman nyang preggy sya and pwede manganak anytime, dapat meron syang turn-over plans di ba? How are you so far?

Actually, she's a GT find.

Good thing may pagka OC naman ako from the start of the planning pa lang.

Keber!
