Teen mom, need advice. :(
« on: December 29, 2014, 06:50:18 pm »
Hi. Di ko alam kung dito ko ba dapat ipost to since first time ko sa forum na to  :'(

Im 17. 2nd year college at mag 7 months preggy na.

Please help  :'(

Gusto man kitang pagalitan pero andiyan na yan. Dapat hindi mo hinayaan ng hanggang ngayon eh hindi mo pa nasasabi sa parents mo dahil walang magulang na makakatiis sa anak kahit pa ganyan ginawa mo for sure naman matatanggap nila yan kawawa naman yung baby mo kung hindi kapa nakakapagtake ng vitamins super need niya yun for the 1st tri niya. My advice to you is better tell your parents once and for all kesa umiyak kapa diyan ng dugo hindi maaayos ang problema mo. Pinasok mo yan be wise kung paano mo iaahon ang sarili mo. Do that for yourself and for your angel. (I'm not a teen mom, I just want to help you realize)

Hello Sis! Kaya mo yan, tyempuhan mo yung parents mo. Im sure they will understand you. Its too late para magsisi ka.

Its never too late, every child is a blessing from God 😊

sis...

ang best mong gawin is sabihan mo na parents mo..
thought, talaga magagalit, madi disappoint sila pero thats the best thing to do..

have the courage to tell the truth.. ingatan mo baby.. God bless

I feel your pain. I'm a mom, too, and if God forbid, that happens to any of my daughters 10 years from now, I know that I will still be there to support her. I love them that much.

Teen pregnancy is hard for the kid but it's also painful for your parents so kung anuman maging reaction nila, try your best to understand them.

My sister got pregnant at 23. Sa akin nya first sinabi. Iyak lang sya ng Iyak so I ended up telling our parents about it. So, maybe you can also find someone to accompany you when you tell your folks?

Lastly, magpray ka. Ipagpray mo baby mo, yung sarili mo at yung magiging acceptance and forgiveness ng parents mo.

Prepare yourself for the worst na lang sis, na sisigawan ka, pagagalitan etc. Work out long-term plans din for your finances, since sabi mo nga not sure ka if pag-aaralin ka pa.

Just get it over with. I wouldn't be surprised if nakahalata na mom mo though. Malakas kutob nila sa ganyan e.

Lastly pray to have strength and always look at your baby lovingly and positively.

tell your parents now,  i don't think there is a good time or a bad time for this,  just gather your strength and tell them.  of course their first reaction will be anger and disappointment and you cannot blame them right?  but that will subside, i promise,  no parent will want to disown a child.  you're not the first one to have this happened to them so just brace yourself for the worst.
if you have to beg, do so, for them to send you back to school after the baby.  be strong and try to be the best daughter that you can be no matter how you get treated afterwards.  practice humility and try not be too much of a burden.  even if it's hard, try to take care of the baby yourself.  this is the only way that you can show them that you've learned your lesson.
you have to grow up and be an adult now, like fast.
and make sure you get checked and start taking prenatal supplements asap.
do all these for your baby.

Hi sis, let me share you my story.

I was 20 when I got pregnant with my first born, like you, I was scared to tell my parents about it kasi sobrang laki ng expectations nila saken, lalo na ng daddy ko, 8 kaming magkakapatid, pangalawa ako, ako favorite ng daddy ko and daddy's girl talaga. So when I found out that I was pregnant, di ko din alam gagawin ko, yung mga friends ko alam nila, nasa province ako nun. Nung mag 2nd semester na sa school nun, alam ko lalaki na tyan ko and di pa talaga ako ready na sabihin sa parents ko kasi sobrang takot, kinontak ko yung pinsan ko sa Manila and tell him my situation, so ayun nagsabi ako sa parents ko na di muna ako mag eenrol sa 2nd sem and magwork muna ako syempre ayaw ako payagan but I insisted. In the end pumayag din, so I stayed dun sa cousin ko hanggang 8 months na yung tyan ko, mind you, walang nakaalam dun sa bahay nila kundi kami lang ng pinsan ko, his mom (my aunt, sister ng mommy ko) and dad and his siblings sobrang clueless, ganun siguro talaga pag tinatago mo yung tyan mo, di din sya lumalaki. I left their house nung 8 months na kasi again di pa ko ready na malaman nina Auntie na I was pregnant. Umuwi ako ng province with the help of my friends and my high school teacher na sobrang close ko like an older sister, I stayed sa friend ko. Now, yung teacher ko na yun, sya ang nagsabi kay mommy na pregnant nga ako and nakauwi na ako sa province. Syempre my mom cried, di niya muna din sinabi sa dad ko sa takot din, but to cut it short, sinabi niya din 2 weeks after I gave birth. Syempre initial reaction ng parents is galit, but believe me, tama yung sinasabi nila na walang makakatiis na magulang sa mga anak nila. Di ako kinikibo ng daddy ko even after makauwi nako sa bahay. Not even a single word. Ni ayaw ako sulyapan. And even my daughter. Then after a month, umalis ako para paregister si baby, I left my daughter sa sister ko. Then, just like that. Okay na kami. Yung daughter ko ni halos di ko mahiram ngayon hahaha but my mom and dad never nila akong tinanong, they just accepted everything.

A baby is always a blessing sis. I hope all is well. Bili na ng vitamins ni baby :D *hugs* and tell your parents na :D

P.S.
Imagine the surprise of my auntie after a month na nalaman nyang nanganak ako haha sabi niya "last month andito lang sya di ba?" hehe

i think everything necessary has already been said, but you may not feel or think like it all the time, but keeping the baby is one of the best decision you made.

the road ahead wont be easy, a lot of sacrifices and pain, but be strong because sooner or later one person would or should be thankful for what you did.

God bless!

in my opinion, kung uunahin mong isipin ang kalagayan ng baby mo bago ang sarili mo, magkakaron ka ng courage sabihin yan kahit anong galit pa ang kailangan mong harapin.

your baby needs prenatal vitamins, you need your parents support para makapagpa-checkup, atbp. yang mga bagay na yan hindi para sa iyo kung hindi para sa anak mo.

have a plan, baka tatanungin ka ng magulang mo kung anong plano mo. sana huwag ka tumulad sa iba sis na nag-asal dalaga ulit after manganak.

Hmmm... I am not gonna castigate you but here's the thing: Just be confident and proud of being a mother if you can handle doing the job.

Question is, are you ready to become a mother?

Hi sis. I can feel and understand you right now. Pinagdaanan ko na din yan kasi. 18 years old naman ako noon. Same feelings kasi hindi mo malaman anong mangyayari sayo.

Heto masasabi ko sayo:

1. Tell your mom. Para hindi maapektuhan yung baby mo kasi hindi ka na kumakain or stressed ka na sa problemang dinadala mo (not I dont mean your baby pero yung iniisip mo na burden na ibibigay mo sayo at sa mom mo).

2. If ayaw kang panindigan ng boyfriend mo, so be it. Be strong. Naging single mom ako for quite some time. Kung kinaya ko, I know kakayanin mo din. God is with you all the time.

3. Hinding hindi ka papabayaan ng mommy mo. I know that kasi I am a mom na din.

4. Prepare na pagagalitan ka pero talagang ganon. Pagsasabihan ka ng mommy mo.

5. After giving birth, make sure you graduate and isipin mo palagi ang future mo and baby mo. Magwork hard ka. Ipakita mo sa mommy mo na you can earn her trust back by being a good mom/parent to your kid.

hi sis..i guess sa lahat dito mas maiintindihan kita. I got pregnant when I was 15 and gave birth when I was 16. Pinag aaral lang ako ng isang kamag anak and nasa point ako ng buhay ko nun na inaaayos ko yung sarili ko kaya hindi talaga ako prepared nung dumating si baby no. 1 sa amin. sobrang gulo din namin nung mag jowa and it even came to me na magpalaglag. 5 mos ako when I have my first check up, hindi na nasundan until manganak ako.

katulad mo, di ko din alam kung pano sasabihin sa amin especially sa taong nagpapaaral sa akin at that time. nachismis na ako't lahat lahat eh todo tanggi pa din. but if there is one thing na natutunan ko, you have to be honest because the truth will set you free. 8 mos na ng nalaman sa bahay namen at nalaman sa isang maeskandalong paraan kaya bago pa lumala ang lahat kausapin mo na ang parents mo. kung may kapatid ka man na sa tingin mo nakakaintindi sayo then do so.

i know you can do this, with God's help makakaraos ka din. Looking back, I know I did the right thing, my first born is now turning 16 although my struggles, I will never change a thing and will never regret having her.

Stand up and be proud.

Hi sis,

Share lang ako sis:
I got pregnant out of wedlock so it was hard for me to announce to my parents that a baby was on its way.  And that I got pregnant by a man that they would never approve of.

Since I'm scared to tell my parents, I waited for my tummy to grow evident. Yes, I was that cowardly.   Let the tummy speak up.  :D

However, I had savings to send myself to an obstetrician.  And this is what's important.  The sooner you tell them, the sooner they would accept and give you all the moral and medical support that they could.  They would be heartbroken, yes.  But they will accept the condition eventually.  (Like a bucket of ice)

You are a mother now.  Overcome your fear. For your baby.  A lot is going to change.  You may not be able to return to school for some time (but I hope your benefactors would still provide for education).   You will eventually find ways to support yourself and your baby if others will not be able to do that for you.  If the father of the baby is willing to help out, then good.  If not, just take him out of the equation.  No need to deal with him right now.  Rely on yourself.  The baby depends on you.  Don't worry, strength will go with motherhood.  It's a natural thing :D

For now, Katakot takot na sermon sis.  Expect that.  Lilipas din yan.  Allow yourself to feel down.  But don't stay that way.
