what do you use when you travel your smartphone or real cam?

If it's somewhere I haven't been to I use my Sony Nex-7 otherwise I just use my iPhone. Planning to upgrade to the Sony Alpha series. Ipon-ipon muna.

^Sis may remote phone app kasi ang Fuji which I think you can use instead of timers. Parang sa gopro, sa phone screen ka titingin ng kukuhanan mong pics. Di ko pa na-try actually so I'm not really sure if ito nga yun. Yes mahal nga ang XT series though good investment. Mahal nga lang talaga ng lens ng Fuji. Pero all in all performance ok naman kahit kit lens lang ang gamit. Di ko nga napansin na pixelized pala yung mga pics ko sa Ilocos until nai-post ko na sa IG. Pero due to wrong settings naman yun. Nakalimutan ko ayusin yung aperture and ISO.

^yes sis. Need lang ng adapter. I'm planning to buy a Canon 50mm f1.8 prime lens for my Fuji kasi nga mahal ng Fuji hahaha!

^Sis sad to say the canon lens I was eyeing is not feasible. Wala daw adapter for fuji to canon. sony-canon and canon-sony lang ang meron kasi ito raw ang common camera. And it costs a lot. So hello old lens na lang ako hahaha di bale maganda naman pupuntahan ko sa ok na rin.

mobile phones lang we used to bring a digicam before kaya lang mas handy talaga ang mobile phone and hindi naman kami pro when it comes to taking pics basta me memories na makekeep, happy na kami

^^sorry to hear that. Yes, I heard that adapter is costly same with lens. I guess no need for me to buy additional lens as I'm not a professional photographer. I'm more than happy having a good quality pics that I can post on my IG

^Ok lang din kasi I was able to use the money allotted for that to buy other things needed for travel. Ahehe! Gopro next target namin. May project kasi kami magkakaibigan na i-document mga travel namin hahaha.

Huawei P9 is getting good reviews for its Leica camera. Wish Apple would also partner or upgrade its camera. 'Di naman ako Apple snob but I just really prefer the user interface kasi of iOS compared to Android, kaya I wanna stick to bringing a camera than getting the Huawei.

I use my phone lang, ang bigat naman kasi ng dslr and istorbo sa leeg. Saka ang lakas maka-turista ng dating kaya ayaw ko. We have digicam din pero mas handy ang smartphone and mas madaling mag-upload ng photos.

real cam canon dslr pag sa new places pero pag hindi iphone na lang. Bigat din kasi nang dslr pero iba talaga ang kuha pag dslr compared sa smartphone. Still looking for a camera na maliit lang pero parang dslr ang output.

It depends on where I go. Kung nag-e-expect ako ng magandang views or sceneries then I'll bring the DSLR. If I'm travelling light then yung Fujifilm point-and-shoot since may manual controls din naman. Pag may water involved then I plan on using an action camera (still deciding on which SJCam model to buy). Pag wala na talaga akong option then dun ko lang gagamitin yung phone cam.

For now, gopro and iphone gamit ko. Planning to buy a Fujifilm na camera ayoko na kasi gamit phone lakas sa battery tsaka napupuno memory ko eh hinde naman kami naguupload, mas gusto ko talaga dedicated na camera. hinde naman kasi lahat maganda kuhanan ng gopro.
hopefully makabili ng fujifilm, xt series sana pero kahit yung X-a3 pwede na sakin
i have a dlsr na last 2013 pa namin nagamit, hinde namin alam nasan nakatago, gusto ko sana ibenta.

Anong DLSR ba ang maganda sa Nikon? Max budget is 1k USD. For traveling ang purpose, so sana yung magaan and not just for photos but Videos (for Youtube) as well. Thanks

Both my hubby invested in a really good point and shoot camera and GoPro. We also have our phones that take great pictures as well, but the picture quality of a real camera is way better than a phone, IMO.

Whenever we travel we bring his point and shoot and our phones. If we're going somewhere more active/adventurous, we also take our GoPro.

I'm thinking of getting a Canon G7X II, may promo kasi na 24 mos 0%. 36k siya, people are telling me ang mahal daw and they would rather get a mirrorless, but ako naman I don't wanna bring lenses na. Anyway, I also have a dslr so the mirrorless would be just a duplicate (I don't intend to sell the dslr body kasi ang baba na ng value)
